This week's guests probably don't need an introduction, but just in case: we're joined by Jeremy Jones and Travis Rice, two snowboarding legends who have turned their careers towards activism. Jeremy, renowned adventurer, director, and 'Champion of Change' (according to President Obama), is also the founder of Protect Our Winters, a non-profit doing incredible work to fight climate change. Travis Rice has also established himself as one of the world's most influential snowboarders, produced 5 films, been named Adventurer of the Year by National Geographic, and most recently founded the Natural Selection Tour. This is a fascinating conversation between two incredible athletes and advocates for change. She's currently a gold and bronze medalist, ESPN ESPY Award Winner, American and World Record holder, and 15-time World Champion. Together, she and Jeremy Snyder founded the TFA Group, a production agency with a simple goal: to change the perception of disability in our society through the power of storytelling. They joined Terry and Andy to discuss their work, Mallory's journey to the Paralympics, and why representation matters in building a more inclusive society for people with disabilities.

Melissa Arnot is probably best known as the first American woman to summit and descend Everest without supplemental oxygen (she's summited six times in total). In 2012, the death of a fellow mountain guide and friend revealed a problem to her: the loss of a Himalayan high-altitude worker often means the loss of the main source of income for that person's family. This realization inspired her and David Morton to found The Juniper Fund, which has now provided cost of living grants, vocational training, and small business grants to 48 families. It's about the love of the feeling that we get that sense of freedom that we usually don't feel day to day because we live in such an aimless world. Because of these power struggles and power dynamics. It's causing a lot of inequities that are happening in this world, and it's causing more and more wealth and more and more privilege to be detrimental to a lot of those oppressed communities." - Vasu Sojitra
