Mikey and Joe talk about the playing Baldur’s Gate 3, the builds they chose, who they are romancing and how far they are in the game. After that the two discuss The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle game Shredders Revenge for the Nintendo Switch (Also available on other systems/platforms). While Joe played for hours in a night and got up to stage 8, Mikey discusses how the game bought his family together for a family game night and he was able to have a full 4 stack. This episode Joe and Mikey are joined by former co-host, Lori. The three discuss the video game The Last of Us and its adaptation T.V. Series on HBO Max. Joe and Lori never played the video game but did watch the show, Mikey did both. Listen in as Mikey schools the two on the video game and what each of them though about the television series.
Mikey talks about his feelings on the opening of the series and the game and how he feels about them. Does he think the game is better than the series? The three talk about how well the actors played the characters and how some of the voice actors from the game showed up in the show. They also discuss which episodes they each though were stand out episodes and Mikey goes over how well they are true to the game. The three wrap up with discussing their thoughts on a second season and if it will be as successful as the first.

You have heard of the March Madness well the Nerd Caster Podcast brings you an episode dedicated to Smash Brothers with Kieffer (Badges) and Sean (The Don?) talk from a veteran point of view and noobs point of view. Kieffer talks about how he got into the Smash Community and why he uses Luigi and some of his secondary characters. Sean talks about how getting into the Smash tournament scene and how he feels at certain venues.
The team talks about PR players in NJ and what characters they love or hate to fight. Joe talks about what “the banana in tailpipe” and what exactly that is and why he hates it.

Nintendo Switch and BotW Review

Last week the Nerd Caster Crew gave you a preview of their initial thoughts of the Nintendo Switch and the Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild before getting their hands on the console and game. Now that they have acquired the coveted system and game they give their reviews and first impressions on how they like or dislike what Nintendo has done.
The two talk about the setup of the console, the game play of BotW, the comparison to other Zelda games, how the Joy Cons feel, etc. If you are on the fence of getting a switch this episode may persuade you one way or another. If you are a Zelda fan, Nintendo fan boy, or are on the fence of getting a Nintendo Switch and/or trying the Breath of the Wild game then give this episode a listen to find out if this console is a good fit for you and if the price tag is worth it.
The two do go off a few tangents but ultimately end up back on track with the game and how it looks an awful lot like water color paintings or a studio ghibly movie. So if you are on your way to work, at the gym, or bored, give this episode a listen.
