This week Melanie processes her A&M / Notre Dame feelings (in addition to her game-time dehydration issues), and I'm ticked that my beloved Bulldogs are not, in my opinion, receiving the recognition that a lifetime member of the Southeastern Conference should receive. Mostly, though, we're just delighted that college football is all the way back - and we continue to be curious about how Nick Saban is going to handle the whole Pat McAfee / GameDay situation.

It was a victorious football weekend for the Aggies and the Bulldogs, so of course Melanie and I offer our perspectives on both our teams. Melanie also shares her relief that she can put another year of the Arkansas / A&M rivalry behind her, and we both have some side eyes and I see yous.

The football horizon is a bit brighter this week for Melanie and her Aggies, and even though that was not the case for my Bulldogs and me (congrats, LSU), Mel and I  talk about some weekend events that brought us all manner of joy. It's probably not a surprise to anyone, but after the first big weekend of college football, this episode is A Lot of Sports. This is also what we like to refer to as our happy place.
