Would your clients say your onboarding experience is so-so, above average, or luxurious? How smooth is the process for you? Do you have it documented?
Today, I'm talking about how to efficiently structure and document your onboarding process to ensure consistency and a positive experience for all your clients.
I share four real-life examples from other coaches in the industry, walk you through the steps to document your onboarding process, and give you a few things to consider...
- Does your onboarding process and what your new client experiences match your brand? Is it high-end, customized, uncluttered, fun, or stylish?
- Is there anything you can simplify in this process? Delegate? Automate?
- Is each step documented? Are all links needed to do this process included in each step
- Have you tested your documentation? As you test it, make any adjustments to improve it.
As you reflect on your current processes, identify areas for improvement by thinking about:
- Is your money collection process effortless?
- How do you get the information your client needs?
- Do you have an email welcome or nurture sequence set up?
- Do you need to add any appointments or reminders to your calendar?
- Does your process create reassurance or safety for new clients after making this big decision?
- Is it clear to your client what their next step is?
- Does your onboarding give off "care and thoughtfulness" vibes?
Be encouraged. Reflect on your current processes, identify areas for improvement, and make changes that align with your brand and client-experience goals.

56 | A Decluttered and Organized Closet with Sarah Horgan
mardi 21 mai 2024 • Durée 48:09
In this episode of the Organized Coach Podcast, I discuss organizing your closet and creating a wardrobe with insights from guest Sarah Horgan.
Sarah is a full-time working mom + wife who lived with clutter and found her way to the other side. She radically changed her own life after a stage 4 cancer diagnosis. Forced to examine everything, including her perfectionism and people-pleasing, she realized all the stuff (and not just the physical stuff) was standing in her way of living her life, her way.
After embracing minimalism and finding her way to simplicity, Sarah started Simple + Intentional to support other women in doing the same. She encourages and inspires others through her blog, Instagram account, and podcast.
Sarah lives in Toronto with her husband and daughter. She loves the outdoors, a strong cup of tea, and is following her dream of writing a book!
In this episode, Sarah shares her personal journey. She emphasizes that decluttering is not about the stuff but about understanding our buying behaviors and the psychology behind clutter. We focus on the importance of an organized wardrobe, offering practical tips for decluttering and organizing clothes to reduce decision fatigue and enhance personal style.
We also delve into the relationship between our belongings and self-perception, advocating for a mindful approach to consumerism and the benefits of a minimalistic lifestyle.
Sarah provides specific strategies for building a versatile, comfortable, and loved wardrobe that aligns with personal style and body image, ultimately promoting self-care and a more organized life.
Some things to listen for that really impacted me:
- Don't start your day with negative thoughts.
- You can't out-organize too much stuff.
- Decluttering and organizing is a form of self-care.
- Clutter is never about the stuff. It's about our buying behaviors, our emotions, and our comfort.
- Our brains are wired for scarcity. We are teaching our brains to think differently.
- Sarah defines an organized wardrobe in three parts.
- You can declutter for real, or you can fake it. This will help you get started!
- Depending on your season, take it as far as you have the capacity to.
- Don't be tempted to buy things that are "okay." Invest in "amazing."
From our conversation, I'm doing the following to create an easy closet I love to walk into every morning:
- Choosing my favorite items - analyze what I love about them.
- Decluttering my closet by category. (jeans, tanks, t-shirts)
- Managing my impulsivity. Being okay with the wait. Practicing the pause.
- Adding a tab to my Idea Tracker with brands I love, things I want to invest in (missing pieces of a minimalistic wardrobe), etc.

54 | Make More Money With These 10 Questions
mardi 7 mai 2024 • Durée 27:35
Ever wonder how to make more money with just one thought? One belief?
My coach shared that she saw results with the thought, “The more I love myself, the more money I make.”
It's making a difference in how she feels and, therefore, the actions she takes and the results she is having.
A form of this thought that really got me excited was, "The more I love my offer, the more money I make."
I already believed this because I knew that if I really loved my offer, I would show up with more excitement, share often, and talk about it with more energy. And if I loved my offer, my students would love it as well.
But I also knew that I could love my offer even more!
So, I came up with ten questions - journal entries or thought prompts - that I could use to FALL MORE IN LOVE with my offer.
Listen to this week's episode as I go through the questions using my offer of Organized Coach Academy as an example.
Here are the 10 questions to prompt you to love your offer more. (If you don't have an "offer," you can tweak these questions to help you fall more in love with yourself, your body, your home, your wardrobe, etc.)
- How does your offer help people?
- What is great about your offer?
- How are you the perfect person to help your clients using this offer?
- Why would someone want to invest in this offer? (their outcome)
- What is the best part about this offer?
- What do you love most about this offer?
- What results have people gotten from this offer?
- What don’t people realize about your offer?
- What don’t you like about your offer? How could you solve this?
- How will I execute this? What is my next step?
Let me know how you use these questions to love your offer and how that changes your results.
Your organizing coach,
Tracy Hoth
