Kicking Episode 92 out of the nest….just for you! 

Emcee and Alex record off schedule and apparently they drank several Red Bulls before recording so you get to thrill as they energetically go cuckoo for “Cuckoo” the eagerly anticipated horror thriller from new (wave?) German director Tilman Singer. Amidst the giallo-esque shadows and John Carpenter nods, a gorgeous cast including Hunter Schaefer, Jessica Henwick, and Dan Stevens spreads its wings to peck away at the central mystery of this sci-fi/supernatural tinged thriller. Jump scares, genital snot, and confusion abounds as your lovely hosts ruffle their feathers trying to understand just WTF is happening here. Flock along with the stumbling as Emcee explains it all to a stunned Cupcake.

We have such sights to discuss on the latest episode! The Flickboxer Brian returns to the show to review the reconfiguration of the "HELLRAISER" franchise that recently debuted on Hulu (and assumedly Disney+ in international markets, amusingly enough). Before he and the boys get into the meat and potatoes of the franchise and David Bruckner's new vision, they dive into their appropriately out of the box pluses. The Cinemasochist (Justin) sings the praises of a fellow podcaster's month-long Halloween celebration, Cupcake (Jose) discusses a serendipitous skincare line he discovered, and Brian waxes about some sweet comic books he found while on vacation (and even throws in some Orlando stories, to boot).

The Boys didn't heed Olivia Wilde's advice, as they got into a spirited discussion on her second film, the divisive & controversial "DON'T WORRY DARLING!" Before that, Cupcake (Jose) went on a topical rant that unintentionally played into a lot of the main film's themes for his +, while the Cinemasochist (Justin) detailed his escapades in Philly for a sporting event (hint: things get burly and sweaty) for his.

Watch/Skip Singular, the short form movie review capsule is BACK - This time Cupcake dons his "hair gel" (shades of "There's Something About Mary") to review the new Peter Farrally directed, Zac Efron starring, based on a true story, Apple TV streaming "The Greatest Beer Run Ever", which not only had a recent festival run but is the follow up to Farrally's award winning "Green Book". Cupcake is joined by Justin the Red, a guest Watch/Skip+ listeners will find........familiar.

The Boys dive into the cinema ocean and recover a "PEARL" of a movie (see what i did there?). But before the gory, technicolor homage, The Cinemasochist (Justin) fetes a pop culture /cinema icon who continues to be relevant even after all these years post his last film, while Cupcake (Jose) takes to the skies and soars with overflowing gay love introducing listeners to an as-yet undiscovered, recent festival favorite Estonian/Russian film (Also it is NOT his life story nor is it the "gay Top Gun" the trades made it out to be. LOL)

It was bound to happen eventually. The C + C Podcast Factory has imploded! Kevin Smith's long-awaited sequel, Clerks III, created a divide between Cupcake and the Cinemasochist that shook the show's foundation to its very core! Before things got heated, Jose talked about a recent film that flew under the radar for his + (hint: it wasn't able to foster the people), while Justin toasted a fallen legend with a shot of J&B for his.

"Watch/Skip SINGULAR" features co-host Cupcake giving you the straight mother on a new theatrical or streaming movie.....because let's face it: there are a ton more movies to cover and WHO DOESN'T LOVE A RECOMMENDATION? 

On the inaugural episode, Cupcake is joined by "cinephile in training" Alex (the host of the  "Friends with Cinefits", powered by our Brother Podcast in Arm "Not a Bomb") to review comedian/actor Zach Creggar's solo directing debut "Barbarian".
