Welcome back, Trash Box listeners! SO. After a brief hiatus, I have returned with a solo episode to discuss the last month in Orange County (omg Noella), Miami (omg Alexia), and Salt Lake City (omg EVERYONE).

But before we dive into the coverage, I have a little announcement: I'm taking a break 'til spring. Life has gotten extra busy for me this winter. And when I return, I'm leaning towards revamping the podcast into something that's more general pop culture/celebrity gossip. A ridiculous chat show with comedians and friends (some of whom I've wanted to have on, but, alas, they aren't Housewives fans). I'm excited!

Regardless of what direction Trash Box takes, I wanna thank everyone for being such loyal, supportive listeners over the past year!! I've received so many kind and funny messages since I started the podcast, and I've really enjoyed connecting with you. And our amazing guests.

Please stay subscribed; even if the new Trash Box isn't exclusively Housewives-centric, I will talking about the things that I love. And that will include Bravo. I think by opening things up, we can get extra silly and weird and even personal! Stay tuned...

This week on Trash Box I welcome stand up comedian Dan Udy, who has a PhD in reality TV! Actually! I initially thought he was joking when he told me, but I discover the fantastic truth a third of the way into this episode. So get ready for an extremely intellectual discussion about The Real Housewives. 

First up is the Nicki Minaj reunion, which was so so so fun. Then Dan gives us his thoughts on the Orange County premiere (I didn't watch, and I'm still on the fence about this season). Finally we dive into some *actual drama* on The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip! On a yacht! With Kenya! And Ramona, who is genuinely terrible and needs to be fired ASAP.

This week I’m joined by my buddy/repeat guest, zee hilarious Tom Hearn. And guess what? We get suuuper worked up about this week's Beverly Hills and Salt Lake City. Cuz Tommy has a wee bit of a temper (see: his very real Twitter feud with Iggy Azalea). Which means the Fox Force Five gaslighting Garcelle, Erika’s constant lies, and Jen Shah’s ice castle manipulations have us screaming at our TVs, foaming at the mouths, and saying things which could be held against us in a court of law. Whoopsies! We're too invested!

It's a solo Trash Box ep! I recorded this mere minutes after I watched this week's Beverly Hills, so my emotions are FRESH. And most of the emotions are rage, fury, anger. Erika is evil! Lisa was not drunk! Kyle needs to pick a lane! Oy. I gotta take a breath. Maybe it's time to go back to therapy?

Before we dive into #RHOBH, I publicly eat shit and read aloud the fan mail I sent to Erika back in 2017. This extremely real Instagram message is so, so embarrassing, and I'd like to formally apologize to the Housewives community. But, then again, hindsight is 20/20. Hopefully the fan backlash makes Kyle and Crystal realize that Erika is pure evil, and they turn on her in the reunion. 

Then it's Potomac time, where Michael is trash, Candiace is shady, Karen is delusional, and Gizelle is deeeeply in denial about her relationship with Jamal. So, yeah, your regular run-of-the-mill episode of Potomac!

This week I am so lucky to be joined by a fellow Housewives podcaster, Taria S. Faison. Taria is the host of What Else is Going On? @weigopodcast. In this very special super-sized episode we recap this week’s Bravo offerings and dive into a variety of topics, including (but not limited to):

-Internet trolls, racists, and Housewives fans -how these women need to be breaking the fourth wall -the different types of chain restaurants in America and Canada (extremely relevant)

The first show we cover is, obviously, RHOBH and the earth-shattering Dinner Party from Hell Part Deux Just… WOW. Neither of us are fans of Erika playing the victim or a “drunk” Lisa Rinna dressed head to toe in Teen Wolf couture (“Get that thing off my screen, right now”). But we both agree it's a fantastic episode of television.

Up next is RHONY, and we talk about how this season has sucked, what needs to happen next (Dorinda or no?), and applaud all their boobies, both real and fake.

Then it’s over to Taria’s neck of the woods, Potomac. That’s right, this East Coaster's got insider info and gossip from the DMV (DC/Maryland/Virginia, NOT the Dept. of Motor Vehicles), and an actual real life connection to Jamal Bryant and First Lady Gizelle. Also… do… I… love… Candiace? The answer is probably yes.

Trash Box has returned from vacay to report on the news of the day! This week I'm joined by my friend, proud Housewives obsessive Natalie Metcalfe, an actress/writer/comedian known for her sketch duo Christian & Nat and her work with the Second City, Toronto. First up is the last Real Housewives of Potomac, which was an instant classic and the best episode of the season. Thank God for Ashley's messiness ("she blows it up, grabs her breast milk, and leaves!"), Wendy coming for deer-in-headlights Gizelle, and Candiace's confessionals. Then it's over to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills where Garcelle is surrounded by idiots, Dorit is the biggest idiot of all, and Erika continues her propaganda campaign. After some Below Deck chat (Captain Glenn is hot, and now we've said it!), we cover RHONY, which... was... fine? I guess? Sigh. This season has been a shit show. Where's Salt Lake?!
