He tells the German chancellor that D-Day must be a bad day for Germany, because, you know, it was huge turning point in the defeat of Hitler's dictatorship. And a former denouncer of Andrew Cuomo who is also running against him in the NYC mayor's race has had a change of heart and is now endorsing him. Don't rank Jessica Ramos NYC folks! And James Carville has a strange  bit of commentary on Jewish donors to political campaigns.

Ro Khanna says it's an opportunity to ally with Musk (but he's wrong). The centrists have gathered for their answer to burning man, WelcomeFest, which featured a lot of discussion about the Abundance Agenda™ and wouldn't you know it, Josh Barro tells Richie Torres that when you look at the impediments to progress you usually find a labor union. Kind of illuminating for once to hear an Abundance Bro admit they are on the side of capital.

As Sam points out, maybe it has something to do with how the bill would effect his bottom line. Patrick Bet-David and crew however are defending Trump, and Musk's drug use. They're in a tough spot these days. Alex Jones is going out of his way to defend Palantir. Gee, I wonder why? And for his part, Richie Torres is defending the Abundance Agenda.  Go figure.

It's Newsday Tuesday™ folks. We've got the latest Trump's Big Beautiful Bill, as well as Chuck Schumer's efforts to fight it. Wait, no, Chuck Schumer seems instead focused on goading Trump into a war with Iran. Go figure. He also opposed the Obama nuclear deal when it was being negotiated back in 2015, despite that it was arguably the Democratic president's most important foreign policy achievement. The Anti Defamation League's Jonathan Greenblatt is once again going after Hasan Piker for criticizing Israel's genocide in Gaza. And Fox News is waging a war on Miss Rachel with a horrible song, saying that Mr. Rodgers would never opine on politics, despite that he very famously advocated for de-segregation and nuclear disarmament.

In the Fun Half, Steven Miller is trashing Leonard Leo and the Federalist Society over some of their judge's rulings on immigration. The UAW puts out an anti-Cuomo ad that promotes their endorsement of Zohran Mamdani as well as progressive Brad Lander. And we also take in some more of Charlie Kirk humiliating himself at Cambridge University, where he was repeatedly dunked on by multiple college students.
