mercredi 3 février 2021 • Duration 44:51
Today’s guest is the wonderful Mecca Gamble, a photographer and successful business owner who’s giving us a behind-the-scenes look at the decisions she’s made to be able to grow her photography business beyond six-figures by introducing an excellent coaching program.
If you’re a creative business owner who wants to evolve and grow then you’re not going to want to miss this episode.
Key Highlights of the Episode
This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:
- Put a price tag on your passion - Despite several years as an undergrad, Mecca couldn't figure out what she was supposed to be doing. When she picked up a camera she couldn’t get enough. After getting paid for her services she realized that photography could be a money-maker for her.
- Learning on the job - Mecca took a job at an advertising agency, allowing her to become better at her craft while being around creative individuals. She’s also had a lot of experience in customer service and was able to translate it into her business.
- Building relationships - Mecca understands that people want to do business with people they like and trust. The market is flooded with photographers and she’s been able to develop a loyal customer base by humanizing her business and brand, building excellent relationships with clients.
- Overcoming resistance - Mecca has had to overcome a lot of resistance along the way. She was initially resistant to make money from teaching and coaching and it’s taken a lot of conscious effort to recognize her value and hone in on what her pricing structure should be.
- How creatives should set their price - A lot of creatives undercharge and it’s easy to get into the game of trying to undercut competitors. Mecca had to discover how to increase her value with HER price point instead of lowering the price and taking away her value from clients.

How This Launch Expert Elevated The Evergreen Model with Micah White
Episode 140
mercredi 27 janvier 2021 • Duration 43:09
This episode features the fabulous Micah Nicole, one of the first contractors I ever hired in my own business, and it’s been a privilege to be able to watch her elevate her price points and do some amazing work with some of the most influential course creators and coaching program facilitators in our industry.
Micah is a millionaire in the making, and in this episode, she gives a behind-the-scenes glimpse into how she’s been able to niche down and carve out her own lane in a saturated market to enroll eight thousand dollar clients into her program.
Key Highlights of the Episode
This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:
- Igniting the spark - While Micah was landing some four-figure clients with web design, it wasn’t making her happy. Taking a step back and figuring out what she was passionate about ignited the spark and led her to launch her signature service and achieve success.
- Do your market research - Micah was initially hesitant to set a high price tag. One way she overcame her money mindset was to look at competitors in the market. She realized they were charging four-figures for less robust services than what she was able to provide.
- Be efficient - Micah doesn’t like to do more work than she has to. This efficient approach allows her to hone in on the work that’s needed to get the optimal results for herself and her clients.
- Document your process - Micah understands that her audience’s needs don’t change. She has a clearly defined and efficient process to follow which allows some room to customize where necessary.
- Work out your “discipline muscle” - To achieve success in business, Micah recommends working out and getting it together in your personal life. Every time she works out she’s training her “discipline muscle” which transfers over to business.
- And lots more! Tune in now.
If you want some help clarifying your program promise and refining your curriculum, I’m here to help.

3 Things Every Successful Coach Must Prioritize Once They Surpass $10k Months
Episode 139
mercredi 20 janvier 2021 • Duration 01:21:52
In today’s episode, I’m going to be sharing the three aspects of time management that you need to know about as you’re reaching full capacity in your business.
This is especially important if you run a six-figure coaching business or you’re well on the path to six-figures. You’re probably noticing that your methods of time management are changing and your situation is different from when you were a solopreneur in hustle mode to launch your signature service and land clients.
Key Highlights of the Episode
This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:
- What season are you in? - In order to determine what you should be prioritizing, you first need to identify which season of business you’re in. Unless you’re making over $8k a month in revenue, your focus should be on selling your services and enrolling high ticket clients.
- Have you reached your capacity limit? - When your capacity reaches its limit you need to consider changing your business model. Is your current business model sustainable? If not, you need to hone in on your one core offer and sales process, becoming the leading person that solves that particular problem.
- Become a CEO - When you’re making more than $10k a month, you need to stop thinking of yourself as a founder and start showing up as a CEO. Put yourself on the payroll and think of yourself as the person that ultimately runs your business, just like the CEO of any corporation does.
- Managing expectations - Is your effort aligned with your expectations? You have to clearly define what success looks like for you and be committed to doing whatever is required to achieve it.
- Question assumptions and check in with beliefs - As you grow you have to check in with your assumptions and beliefs. If your assumptions are derived from negative beliefs (many of which were rooted in childhood trauma) then you’ll sabotage your growth. Mindset work is essential.
- And lots more! Tune in now.

How To Pivot In Order To Protect Your Online Coaching Business
Episode 138
mercredi 13 janvier 2021 • Duration 01:19:43
In this episode, I’m going to be raw and honest with you. We’re going to talk about what really matters. Even though you may not like everything you’re going to hear, it comes from a place of love and wanting you to get rich as you thrive in business and life.
Key Highlights of the Episode
This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:
- Update your message - Whatever marketing and messaging you were using a few weeks ago it’s probably not going to be relevant in today’s market climate. The coronavirus has changed the game and clients’ pain points are more visible right now than they have ever been before.
- Pivoting your promise - Does your promise meet the necessity of potential clients? Right now, people and businesses don’t have resources to spend on luxuries and niceties. They need their basic needs to be fulfilled. Your promise, therefore, needs to align with the basic necessities of clients.
- Don’t project your limiting money beliefs onto clients - You have to recognize your limiting beliefs and understand that while people have less money in their pockets than before, they’re not completely broke. Aligning with what people need and confidently offering them a specific and tangible solution will ensure you’re as profitable as ever.
- Keep selling - For a transformation to take place there must first be a transaction. Don’t give away your solution for free and don’t give discounts. People are still paying and in order to pay your bills, you have to keep selling and serving clients.
- How big before you pivot? - If you’re only making $20k - $40k a year then you need to continue making sales at a premium rate and doing excellent 1:1 client work. When you’re well beyond this threshold and operating at full capacity you need to consider pivoting your business model and leveraging beyond 1:1.
- And lots more! Tune in now.
You and I both know that it’s time that you take full ownership of your expertise. Finally learn how to clarify your program promise, articulate your value, and organically launch your $3k - $10k group coaching program.

Q&A: Advice For A First Year Ceo, How Much 1:1 Time To Include In A Coaching Package And More
Episode 136
mercredi 30 décembre 2020 • Duration 22:06
It’s time for a quick Q&A.
Even though this episode is relatively short and sweet, it contains a few nuggets that you’re not going to want to miss.
Tune in to discover:
- What advice I would give a first-year CEO,
- What you should be focusing on if you’re just starting out,
- Mistakes I made in my first year of business,
- My mission and response to the current political climate,
- Evolving into the role of CEO, and
- The importance of 1:1 client time.
Key Highlights of the Episode
This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:
- You’re not a CEO yet - If you’ve been in business for only a year then it’s best to stop thinking of yourself as a CEO. You’re the business founder and you need to work up to becoming a CEO once your business is well established.
- Where should your focus be? - Don’t try and solve problems that aren’t even problems yet. If you’re starting out, there are a lot of business problems that aren’t relevant to you in the early stages of business. Instead, focus on how you can articulate your value, raise your rates, and make money.
- How has my message changed under the current political climate? - My mission has always been to increase the representation of women of color in higher-level leadership roles. Therefore, given the current political situation we’re in, my message is consistent and more relevant than ever before.
- Becoming a CEO - Learning to sell is vital but there are so many other things that you need to know about when running a business in the long-run. Evolving into the CEO role of your business involves understanding the data and learning to make critical decisions.
- How important is 1:1 time - People don’t enroll in coaching programs based on the amount of time you give them. What’s more important than time is the promise of your offer and the results you can get.
- And lots more! Tune in now.
If you’re booked out with private 1:1 clients, ready to raise the price of your successful digital course or want a new revenue stream beyond retainer clients, I invite you to apply.

What Type Of Content Should You Create In Your Coaching Business?
Episode 135
mercredi 23 décembre 2020 • Duration 18:44
Are you struggling to get consistent results from your content? Do you know what kind of content creator you are?
In today’s episode, you’re going to discover which of the 3 types of content creator (The Consumer, The Creator, The Publisher) you are, and what kind of content strategy you should be pursuing in your coaching business to get the results you want.
Key Highlights of the Episode
This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:
- “The Consumer” - Consumers tend to follow everyone and are constantly consuming content. Consumers are so busy watching others’ content that they struggle to show up and present themselves.
- “The Creator” - Creators are focused on publishing content. They typically push their own content over and over again. While they tend to get plenty of likes, they may struggle with attracting qualified prospects and converting clients.
- “The Critic” - If you’re selling a high ticket item then you need to be a critic. Critics challenge the beliefs of their audience. They share their perspectives on topical and relevant issues that their audience is currently experiencing.
- Quality over quantity - It’s not about posting regurgitating other peoples’ content just for the sake of it. What’s more important is a consistent message that displays quality over quantity.
- Challenge beliefs - If you’re a critic, you’re not teaching people how to do something but you’re teaching people how to think. You’re challenging their point of view in a way that opens them up to something they’ve never considered before.
- And lots more! Tune in now.
Every day, we help coaches and DFY providers, like you, transform their 1:1 service into a SUSTAINABLE online coaching business that is set up to automate the necessary aspects of your offer so you have the energy to show up, serve your clients and increase your business growth month after month.
