As per tradition, the last episode of this season is a solo!
In this episode I’m reflecting on 2023 using my favourite framework: Health Home Hustle.
I’m sharing snippets of my health journey, including a few notes on pregnancy, what we’ve updated in our home so far and what I’m hoping to update in the future, and then what work has looked like this year and what it’s going to look like (maybe?!) as I embark on my maternity leave.
I hope you enjoy today’s episode and that it helps you to reflect on your own year too, whenever you decide to do so!

Balancing Beauty and Biology: Your Skincare's Role in Endocrine Harmony and Epigenetic Health with Skin Diligent's Co-founder Tule Park
Season 3 · Episode 9
mardi 3 octobre 2023 • Duration 01:17:21
Welcome to this week’s episode of the Health Home Hustle podcast! Today I am joined by a very special guest: Skin Diligent’s co-founder Tule Park. If you’ve been tuning into the last few episodes of the show, you’ll already be familiar with Skin Diligent as they’re our current show sponsor.
Tule is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to ALL things skincare and cosmeceuticals. As you’ll hear in this episode, Tule is forensically interested in health, the interconnectedness of the systems within our bodies, the impact our lifestyle choices can have on our gene expression, and how products and other factors can have an impact on our hormones.
Yes, we’re talking skincare, but we discuss SO much more!
Having worked with a number of Korean cosmeceutical companies earlier on in her career, Tule had a clear vision for a European based cosmeceutical brand, focused on improving skin health, reinforcing the skin barrier, and getting results with intelligent delivery systems for proven active botanical ingredients. The result is Skin Diligent—a beautiful primarily natural cosmeceutical brand which truly delivers on its promises via targeted skincare and supplements.
In this episode Tule and I really deep dive into what it means to have ‘healthy skin’. And spoiler, it may not mean what you think it means!
We address topics including:
- what our endocrine system is, and its relevance when it comes to skincare choices
- sensitive skin, what it means and how you can still use products which include wonder-ingredients like Vitamin C
- the difference between moisturisation and hydration
And so much more!
This episode is a BIG skincare deep-dive which may just change your perception on what having ‘healthy-looking’ skin really means.
Enjoy!

The Wellbeing Benefits of Spending Time in Nature with ACAI Founder Kasia Bromley
Season 2 · Episode 7
lundi 23 janvier 2023 • Duration 51:57
Let's hear it for Mama Nature! I've experienced the wellbeing benefits of spending time in nature many times over since I began to incorporate regular outdoor activity into my day to day life. In today's episode of the Health Home Hustle podcast I'm diving into the health and mental wellness benefits of time spent outdoors with Kasia Bromely. Kasia is the founder of ACAI —the first and only outdoor brand designed specifically for women.
Having started her design career at Alexander McQueen and subsequently the outdoor apparel brand Endura, in 2016, Kasia founded ACAI with her husband Joe. Since then, ACAI has grown over 2000% online since February 2017. As of 2023 the brand secured a further £3million investment to further their growth.
Not only is the brand thriving from a business perspective, its avid community of outdoors-loving women is ever-growing. With ACAI’s Outdoorsing Club hosting sold-out adventures for women throughout the UK.
I am so excited to welcome Kasia onto the show today to discuss ACAI, her experience of spending time in nature, and why time outdoors is such a big player when it comes to our overall health and wellbeing.
If spending more time in nature is one of your goals for 2023, or perhaps you want to push yourself to enjoy more adventurous walks, hikes or outdoor challenges, this episode if for you!
