Our D&D 5e campaign is a slow boil with focus on NPC and PC relations and politics (don't worry, we have battles too.) Ellie worries over her friendship with Luna after she said something very insensitive to her. But they have bigger problems to deal with. The quake caused everyone to fall down into the sea caves and the damsels are separated and some gravely wounded. Another strange thing... people who should be dead aren't dying...But the Damsels cannot and will not say no to helping the injured animals get to safety. Time to rescue Peanutbutter the horse The Damsels begin to collect the survivors from the earthquake and the fall. They find Castle staff and members of the royal family while searching. Ciara uses her familiar to search for the other team members.Elly takes her opportunity to tease Van, Ari's uncle for his choices in animal transformation. LOL A long time pet peeve of his. Ciara gets to endure the awkward reunion of Arteus and his estranged mother. Ari gets terrible news of her Aunt being mortally wounded. Luna finally gets a lead to help her in her upcoming trial, a Doctor named Taeo has offered to examine her for his studies for lycanthropy. She consents and has to endure a harrowing mental experiment. The damsels finally have a moment go looking for their belongings amid the wreckage. Kenaris shows up with his mother in tow, much to Elly's pleasant surprise. Ciara's hitchhiker makes an appearance and takes a particular interest in the box Lucious/Rian left in their care. Oculus reports that he can smell "Cormac" one of Ciara's old friends. Shocked, Ciara looks around and runs into a very violent surprise. The Damsels have a new friend, Ari. She is a Princess from the Arcanic Empire who decided to crash a party! The damsels quickly sweep her into the group and take her on the wild adventures of JAIL-Breaking! The Damsels have 3/4 keys and are on the trail to the last one. After the fight with Thranion the group gathers and Keyanthi gets a message from Breotracht. "Its time to go." Meanwhile Eravan is collecting Ari, a new friend who helped out during the fight. Keyanthi departs and that is the exit for Keyanthi and Kristin her player. Ari is the new character and Amelia is her player. I had to redo the audio for myself and for Michael. That's why I am voicing for Ellie and my lipsync is severely off. The team attempts to reunite after being separated. Ellie and Theren find each other and begin to search for Keyanthi, Luna and Ciara, not knowing that Keyanthi is gone and there is a new friend, Ari. Luckily, Luna knows EXACTLY what to say. We open with Ari running into the emperors (Her brother's) personal guard, Ceirvante Dleba (AKA uncle Van). Uncle Van roasts Ari for crashing a party and questions her on how she intends to get home. I know it's not great but I did literal hours of work on it to improve it. ( I get better at checking recording later, I promise q_q) This week we introduce a new player, Amelia! She plays a Kiaria'Relia AKA "Ari". She is a storm sorcerer, Arcane Elf. Yes, that is a homebrew race! So far we like it. The first part is Ari's introduction and then we hop back to the party to see what the other Damsels are up to. So far they have collected 1 out of 4 keys! Next they find their target, the jailor. The Damsels know they have a key... but how to get it off them? The damsels split up in search of the keys but have to play it cool at the party. Ellie winds up dancing and makes a unique discovery about her partner when her spirit companions start getting very excited! We're back finally! Sorry there were many computer issues and no editing for a long, long time. The Damsels are asked to help Arturo, a half arch fey half human, to free his mother. Their cover is the Fey Queen's Party. They're gonna go in and bust mom out! First starts off with some planning, then we move on to the party and meet the many, many guests. Then go onto party games and sleuthing. The Fey Queen's party continues to rage on. The Damsels decide to split up and look for the key-Keepers: Elia, the Captain of the guard, one of Sabra's courtesans, and then the jailor. But they are side tracked as their efforts to remain covert require them to "walk the walk" and "dance the dance." Elendriel meets someone she has been looking for, for a long time. Welcome! The Damsels have defeated the dragon and soon after a quake shakes the ground. The Damsels then puzzle over Ivellios' true intentions and decide to move on towards the Eladrin village. They make came for the night and each damsel has a vision or a visitor come to them during the night. The next they arrive at an Eladrin town called Fower. They are delighted to see that the children are taking well to their new home but Cian doesn't seem to be pleased. Ciara has heart to heart with the lad.
