“Bienvenidos a México!” After calling off her wedding, 19-Year-old Jayna arrives in Cancun, ready to start the next chapter of her life. She would be working as entertainment staff at an all-inclusive resort. Leaving her church duties and fiance back in Canada, she never imagined the adventure that awaited her. With no cell phone or accessible internet, she is disconnected from her family and any support she had known. Finding herself without a map or family for guidance, something as simple as finding her new home is an adventure in itself.

How did she go from church drama team leader to dating a Mexican drug dealer? Jayna was a teacher's pet. She was incredibly involved in her Christian High School and was a self-proclaimed drama geek. She was best friends with teachers, attended dinners at their homes and was involved in two churches. She attended missionary trips to Mexico to build houses for the less fortunate. What could possibly possess this girl,  fresh out of braces and pageants, to pack her bags, and hop on an airplane with a one way ticket to live in Mexico at only 19 years old?

The message that needs to go viral.

After mentioning being a victim of childhood sexual abuse in Episode one, Jayna received far too many messages from women who shared similar experiences. Today, Jayna finally takes the microphone to share the full story. This story is her own but isn't just about her, it's so much bigger.  it's time to open the doors and let some light shine on the girls who have been hidden alone in the darkness.

With 80% of women experiencing sexual assault before the age of 25, this issue is far too common. It's heavy and hard to talk about and will be equally as hard to hear, but the silence isn't helping anyone except the abusers.
