The bariatric program looms large: orientation, forms, mental health timelines, and rules that stretch into forever. Knowing the steps isn’t the same as living them, and that gap explains so much of the frustration. We talk about losing over 100 pounds and still seeing “class three” on a chart, the mismatch between progress and labels, and how a full-length seated mirror can shock you back into reality.
