10-05-26 Part One - Virtue Signaling is On The Rise
lundi 5 octobre 2026 • Durée 01:16:16
In part one of Red Eye Radio with Gary McNamara and Eric Harley, we begin by seeing the increase of virtue signaling by the left. The definition of vitue signaling is the public expression of moral values, social awareness, or political correctness primarily intended to make the speaker look good to others rather than to drive effective action. This self-serving, narcissistic agenda is increasing with the left as they promote their agenda to win the midterm elections.
Also she's back! Kathy Hochul appointed the infamous Letecia James as special prosecutor to investigate the alleged assault at Chi Phi fraternity at Cornell University / The Supreme Court begins its new term today facing cases on Americans’ civil rights, federalist struggles between states and the federal government, and the looming specter of more last-second litigation over the coming midterm elections. The proper deportation of illegal immigrants will also be a key decision today / and early indications suggest the Flydubai co-pilot accused of attacking his captain and trying to seize control of an Israel-bound plane acted alone, rather than as part of a larger organization or on behalf of a foreign government.

In part two of Red Eye Radio with Gary McNamara and Eric Harley, Russian authorities have imposed “anti-epidemic measures” after a laboratory worker at an institute in Siberia dedicated to studying the plague and other infectious diseases died of a mysterious illness. The researcher, a 28-year-old female laboratory technician at the Irkutsk Research Anti-Plague Institute of Siberia, in the town of Shelekhov, died after being diagnosed with a pneumonia of “unknown” origin, according to Rospotrebnadzor, the Russian agency that handles infectious disease.
Also The Sunshine Protection Act passed the House in July, but it faces roadblocks in the Senate where some Republicans are strongly opposed. Proponents, including the White House, argue that the change would provide more daylight during the times that Americans are most active.
And The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that the economy added 29,000 jobs in September 2026, and the unemployment rate rose to 4.2%. Hiring slowed down more than analysts predicted.

10-02-26 Part Two - The Heated Race for the Texas Senate
vendredi 2 octobre 2026 • Durée 38:04
In part two of Red Eye Radio with Gary McNamara and Eric Harley, with just weeks before Election Day, Democratic engagement and positive ratings give Democrat James Talarico a razor-thin edge over Republican Ken Paxton in what is, so far, shaping up to be a photo finish for the Lone Star State’s U.S. Senate seat. This analysis, released Thursday, is among Texas likely voters, unless otherwise noted. Talarico enjoys a net positive personal rating of 8 points (52% favorable vs. 44% unfavorable), while Paxton’s is underwater by 18 points (40% vs. 58%). Republicans are six times more likely to view Paxton unfavorably (32%) than Democrats do Talarico (5%).
And audio from Senator John Kennedy sounding off on the lack of support for collegiate sports .

10-01-26 Part One - Christa Pike Cheats Death
jeudi 1 octobre 2026 • Durée 01:16:15
In part one of Red Eye Radio with Gary McNamara and Eric Harley, the lone woman on Tennessee’s death row was still alive on Wednesday night after she was administered two lethal injections, according to her lawyer. Convicted Tennessee killer Christa Pike's legal team said in a motion seeking to halt her execution Wednesday night that the attempted execution did not kill her. At 8:26 p.m. local time, witnesses said the executioners had "injected both syringes of lethal injection chemicals and Pike is still alive and snoring," her lawyers said in a federal court filing, according to The Associated Press. Pike, 50, was 18 in 1995 when she, her boyfriend and another person beat, kicked and stabbed their 19-year-old classmate Colleen Slemmer to death in a brutal "satanic" attack that Pike claimed took between 30 minutes and an hour, according to court documents.

10-01-26 Part Two - There's Nothing Like The Real Thing
jeudi 1 octobre 2026 • Durée 38:04
In part two of Red Eye Radio with Gary McNamara and Eric Harley, new reseach indicates podcast listeners are not happy with AI replacements for the human host of the show. AI is continually replacing media professionals with voice matching technology, but it's still "buggy". There's still a lot of fine tuning for the end product, else people may "tune out".
Also polls still favor the GOP over Democrats for voter favorability / and in general Americans want improvements to healthcare coverage and fuel prices to normalize.

09-30-26 Part One - Talarico’s Unconvincing Christian Progressivism
mercredi 30 septembre 2026 • Durée 01:16:14
In part one of Red Eye Radio with Gary McNamara and Eric Harley, James Talarico may not think that God is nonbinary anymore, but he’s certain that He’s in favor of universal health care. The Texas Senate candidate posted a riff on X about how the Bible is the foundation of his progressivism. Supposedly, through happy coincidence, our Savior agrees with Talarico about important planks of the Democratic platform circa 2026. “When Jesus healed the sick,” the Democrat said, “He didn’t ask for a deductible. So, when I fight for universal health care, I’m doing it on biblical grounds.” This is the kind of cheap misuse of Scripture that Talarico, a former seminarian, finds irresistible.

09-30-26 Part Two - Introducing "Super Intelligence"
mercredi 30 septembre 2026 • Durée 38:03
In part two of Red Eye Radio with Gary McNamara and Eric Harley, President Trump on Tuesday signed an executive order renaming artificial intelligence to “super intelligence” in a rebranding that comes amid growing concerns about AI safety and hours after top AI industry executives met the president at the White House and signed a “morally binding” accord agreeing to improve controls and internal audits. Time will tell if the new name sticks.
Also some in the Trump administration is rejecting the idea of sanctioning AI / a judge has ruled NY Mayor Mamdani's administration must void previously mailed second-home tax notices and redo the rollout after finding due process violations / and the BBC removes an article claiming bare nails trend perpetuates 'White supremacist' beauty standards.

09-29-26 Part One - Russian Cannon Fodder
mardi 29 septembre 2026 • Durée 01:16:14
In part one of Red Eye Radio with Gary McNamara and Eric Harley, Russia is recruiting frontline troops for its war against Ukraine any way it can, and has duped at least 18 US men into fighting. The NY Times article states most are sent into the “meatgrinder” — the frontlines where they are mostly cannon fodder, quickly mowed down by Ukrainian drones, soldiers or artillery.
Also a look at the Democratic campaign trail / The Correctional Service of Canada confirmed it will distribute paper straws in federal prisons to support "safer snorting" and reduce health risks among inmates / Largest-ever US steel plant is coming to a key red state as President Trump unveils $15B investment / even though consumer spending is up, Americans remain concerned about fuel prices / and America's shortage of skilled trades workers is straining homebuilding, infrastructure and a growing wave of commercial projects, as the industry struggles to bring younger workers into careers such as plumbing, electrical work and HVAC.
