Ep.38 This is Why You’re So Resistant to Healing
Season 1 · Episode 38
mercredi 4 décembre 2024 • Duration 35:30
Healing can feel scary, and it’s definitely not easy. It’s a long process, but it’s one that will truly set you free and allow you to be your authentic self.

Healing isn’t a straightforward path, and resistance can show up in so many different ways.
Carla is probably one of the most resistant people to healing, so she fully understands why you might be too.
But ultimately, if you’re looking to experience more love, more joy, more pleasure, more play, and a more abundant life, you need to break through this resistance in order to heal.

Ep. 21 Breaking Free from the Grip of Exercise Addiction
Episode 21
mercredi 24 juillet 2024 • Duration 26:33
Movement can be so good for the body, but at what point are you doing more harm than good when it comes to exercising?
You might not even be aware of this, but you could have an exercise addiction.
I know that if someone had tried to tell me in my 20s that I had an exercise addiction, I wouldn’t have listened to them. But I’m so glad that, with the help of therapy, I was able to acknowledge this addiction and break free from it.
Exercise is so so good for your body and mind, but this doesn’t mean that you should be pushing through sickness, grief, or canceling plans in order to get a session in.
In this episode, I talk about the 8 signs of exercise addiction, my personal experience with it, and ways that you can overcome it and cultivate more self-love.
