Dr. Anderson first followed his father's path into business skills learning the oil industry and investments. Today, Dr. Anderson takes his amazing business knowledge and love for veterinary medicine to help veterinarians grow what he calls, comprehensive prosperity or success. Dr. Anderson is the executive chairman of CityVet and Arista Advanced Pet Care. Dr. Anderson has also recently published a book showing veterinarians the path to prosperity in his book called, The Prosperous Veterinarian.

Our guest is Dr. Douglas Mader, who is triple board certified in AVBP, zoo, and exotics. As part of his exciting career journey, he has appeared on Animal Planet, National Geographic, Discovery, and more caring for the pets of celebrities to school children. He loves to write and has written textbooks, articles, and scientific publications. Recently, he published a memoir of one of his early years in clinical practice in inner-city Los Angeles during the LA riots. He is a wonderful storyteller and I believe fellow veterinary professionals will very his stories relatable.
He is passionate about teaching and the human-animal bond. So you will learn about his early career journey, his wisdom of the human-animal bond, and his why for writing his book The Vet At Noah’s Ark: Stories of Survival from an inner-city animal hospital.
