Season 2 · Episode 47

mercredi 28 août 2024Duration 01:10:58

In part 2 of our sit down with Jodie Sweetin we delve into her rich career and personal life, offering an insightful peek behind the curtain. We kick off with her reflecting on the contrasts between filming before a live studio audience and performing live on stage.  The discussion turns to Jodie’s involvement with Jeff Lewis and how she became a chump and she recounts the initial meeting and how it blossomed into a genuine friendship with Jeff and other members of his circle. She emphasizes the importance of these relationships, highlighting how they’ve become a significant part of her life beyond just professional connections. From there, Jodie talks about her live show “Family Dinner,” a project she holds close to her heart and centers around the warmth and intimacy of sharing a meal with friends and family.  As the conversation transitions into Hot Topics, the trio delves into Jodie’s thoughts on the reboot of the “Real Housewives of New Jersey and she informs us she prefers spending her time reading. This revelation leads to a broader discussion about the nature of reality television and how it doesn’t truly reflect the reality it claims to portray. Another Haute topic of discussion is Candace Cameron Bure’s controversial statements about the “drag queen” at the Paris Olympics. Jodie acknowledges their sisterly bond but makes it clear that they have vastly different views, especially regarding LGBTQ+ rights and she expresses her unwavering support for the LGBTQ+ community, emphasizing that love and acceptance should be universal. She talks about how she reconciles her spirituality with the need to support and uplift marginalized communities, particularly the LGBTQ+ community. We also weigh in, discussing the complexities of maintaining friendships across different political and religious beliefs.  Shifting gears, we take a lighter turn with Runway Rundown and critique the red carpet looks of celebrities Pink, Colman Domingo and Jodie herself! Jodie reflects on her late grandmother, a figure who played a significant role in her life and she shares poignant memories discussing how her presence is still felt in her life through small, meaningful signs like butterflies.  Jodie opens about the challenges of being a child actor and the pressures that come with the territory and reflects on the best advice she received from her mother, who reminded her that fame doesn’t last forever and that it’s important to plan for life beyond the spotlight and cherish those you love, referring to the passing of the beloved, Bob Saget. This leads to an emotional coffee cup reading, where Pol’ interprets the symbols left in her cup, revealing a heart that symbolizes Jodie’s ongoing connection with her grandmother. Jodie’s emotional response highlights the depth of her bond with her grandmother, making this one of the most touching moments. As the episode draws to a close, the conversation circles back to fashion, her life as a Hallmark Movie Queen, new projects and taking on new adventures, including a directing opportunity she’s excited about. Pol’s encouragement for Jodie to say “yes” to new opportunities resonates deeply, echoing her personal mantra of embracing life’s adventures. This is another Hurrdat Media Production. Season 2 · Episode 46

mercredi 21 août 2024Duration 01:12:59

This week we sit down with Ryan Bailey, the charismatic host of the popular podcast So Bad It’s Good and fellow Jeff Lewis Chump Co-host.  It kicks off with Ryan expressing his surprise at how our boutique also doubles as a fully functional studio, and he comments on the “Hollywood Hustle” he’s just witnessed off the air.  We dive into Ryan’s acting career and he shares stories from his time on set on The Office, Criminal Minds, and various Lifetime movies. He talks about his struggles with the instability of an acting career, pinching pennies and being frugal.  We discuss his fashion choices, and he playfully admits that he’d likely be “tore up” by our weekly fashion critiques. Shifting  to reality TV, a major theme in Ryan’s podcast, he shares his thoughts on various Bravo shows, including Vanderpump Rules and several of The Real Housewives franchises and  explains how he’s a straight guy with a deep love for Bravo shows, which led him to start his podcast just before the pandemic. This decision turned out to be pivotal as his podcast quickly grew in popularity, eventually leading to a contract with a giant media company that propelled his show to new heights. We share our own podcasting experiences in the early days with AfterBuzz TV, before podcasts were popular. The pandemic led us to take different creative paths—Ryan with his podcast while we made masks. Ryan shares some behind-the-scenes stories on Dance Moms and insights into the reboot. We add in our own stories about reality TV, the challenges of working with PR teams, and the often-unpredictable nature of Hollywood. Ryan also opens about his Kansas upbringing, how it contrasts with his current life, and how growing up with girls on his street influenced his tastes and perspectives. The episode takes a deeper, more emotional turn during Pol’s coffee reading for when the passing of Ryan’s mother shows up in the grounds, which opens the door for a heartfelt conversation about loss, guilt, and the importance of moving forward. Pol tells Ryan that there’s a void in his life that he needs to identify and fill, encouraging him to let go of the past to fully enjoy his current happiness. Ryan agrees, sharing that despite the end of his first marriage, he has found new love and support in his current relationship with Rebecca. Pol’ continues to delve into Ryan’s psyche, suggesting that reconnecting with his inner child, perhaps through an upcoming trip to Cabo, could help him heal further. Our part one ends with personal anecdotes, humorous exchanges, and deep insights into the lives of those involved in the entertainment industry and we reflect on the impact of relationships with Hollywood icons like Anna Nicole Smith and Betty White. Ryan expresses his deep appreciation and genuine connections he’s made through his podcast and the deeper understanding he’s gained of the people behind the Hollywood facade. Season 2 · Episode 37

mercredi 5 juin 2024Duration 55:31

It’s part 2 with Sutton Stracke and we delve deeper into our conversation with her beginning with a metaphorical discussion about “eating the marshmallow” post-breakup, which symbolizes moving on quickly and not dwelling on past relationships. Sutton emphasizes the importance of continuing to date while working on personal growth. Pol’ supports this by stressing the significance of discovering one’s fashion style, comparing it to the discipline required for physical fitness and a healthy diet. The big elephant in the room question is why people often wait until after a breakup to improve themselves? It’s not about money but about finding clothing that brings joy, regardless of the price or the store. This light-hearted exchange highlights the importance of personal satisfaction over material wealth. Sutton, known for her impeccable fashion sense, discusses her criteria for a new partner, prioritizing intellectual compatibility. How can people move forward with emotional baggage? We discuss her hands-on involvement with her boutique’s inventory, and she reveals that her passion for fashion and the boutique began when she lived in Orange County and started a blog. She discusses how shopping habits have changed, with a shift towards sustainable fashion and personalized experiences and introduces us to Sutton Brands sustainable fashion and shares her plans to transition her boutique to an appointment-only model, valuing the dedicated space for exclusive events. Runway Rundown looks start with Dorit Kemsley from RHOBH, analyzing her reunion outfit and Sutton comments on how distracting her constant fiddling with her outfit was, and Pol’ breaks down the technical aspects of the design. Next up we discuss Nicole Kidman’s stunning gold metallic outfit at the AFI Achievement Awards, that Sutton describes it as “to die for. Our final look is Sutton’s own, designed by Dior’s Raf Simons and Patrik's, not a fan and criticizes the outfit, while Sutton and Pol’ appreciate the intricate details and construction and she explains that the outfit was slightly wrinkled from the car ride. There’s light-hearted anecdotes and a humorous story about Larry King purchasing gowns from their boutique, unsure if they were for his mistress or wife. Sutton candidly discusses her preferences in a future partner, sparking laughter and camaraderie We end with the second half of Sutton’s Armenian Coffee reading with Pol’ revealing profound insights into Sutton’s life. He notes a small hole in her heart, which he interprets as an emotional wound from her past. Sutton’s reaction to seeing the letter “A” in her coffee cup leads to a discussion about unresolved issues with a significant person from her past. Sutton acknowledges the accuracy of Pol’s observations and reflects on her personal journey of healing and self-discovery and her cup reveals that her heart has been masked for too long. Pol’ advises her to revisit a painful moment to truly heal and suggests planting a baby citrus tree as a symbol of new beginnings and grounding. What else is revealed in her coffee grounds? Was Jeff Lewis correct and is Sutton moving to a new property with many trees, signifying stability and growth?  This is another Hurrdat Media Production. Season 2 · Episode 36

mercredi 29 mai 2024Duration 01:10:11

Part two of Cynthia Bailey continues our engaging conversation with the renowned model, actress, and reality TV star known from Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” and we delve deeper into her life and career with a behind-the-scenes look at her experiences on CBS’s “Celebrity Big Brother.” We kick off with Cynthia discussing her time on “Celebrity Big Brother.” She highlights her interactions with fellow cast members and the unique challenges of the show by describing her initial apprehension and how Todd Bridges became a significant support system for her, helping her navigate the complexities of the game. She elaborates on the strategic and social dynamics within the house, explaining how she quickly learned to handle the pressure and the necessity of occasional deception to survive the competition. As the conversation progresses, Cynthia shares the dynamics within the house, including her close bond with Carson Kressley. She describes the camaraderie that developed among the cast members despite the competitive nature of the show. A humorous moment arises when she talks about the challenges of sharing one bathroom with 12 cast members, a situation that led to unexpected friendships and, at times, tension due to intense isolation from the outside world, which left her feeling “triggered” every time she drives past the CBS Studio Lot. Cynthia also recounts a near confrontation with Todd Bridges, revealing how high tensions could get in the house. Despite the pressure, she reflects on how these intense interactions ultimately led to strong, lasting friendships. She confesses that living in such a “pressure cooker” environment was one of the most challenging experiences of her life, but it also taught her a lot about herself and human nature. In “Haute Topics,” we address the Prince Andrew/Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking scandal, with Cynthia providing her perspective on the disturbing revelations. She expresses her disbelief and sadness over the situation, emphasizing the need for justice and accountability. The discussion broadens to the issue of sex trafficking in Atlanta, highlighting the city’s unfortunate status as one of the top hubs for such crimes.  The conversation takes a personal turn as Cynthia discusses her views on the misuse of wealth and power, even touching on her friend P. Diddy’s legal issues and sharing her belief that true intentions and actions eventually come to light. She recounts her early interactions with P. Diddy and how the recent allegations against him have affected her perception of him. Despite these controversies, Cynthia remains hopeful that justice will prevail. As we shift to fashion with “Runway Rundown” we critique recent red carpet looks, starting with Cynthia’s fellow “Real Housewives of Atlanta” castmate, Porsha Williams. The group praises Porsha’s stylish gown, appreciating its design and the confidence with which she wears it. Next, we go gaga over Cynthia’s cover shoot for Glamour Magazine in Bulgaria, discussing the sophisticated and youthful look she embodied.  We conclude with the second half of her powerful coffee reading which reveals significant letters and symbols, indicating major changes and opportunities in Cynthia’s life. Pol’ encourages her to focus on herself and close past chapters to embrace new beginnings.  Subscribe to our audio: linktr.ee/undressedpod TikTok @undressedconversations YouTube: Undressed with Pol’ and Patrik Follow Pol Atteu:  Instagram: @polatteu  Tiktok: @polatteu  Twitter: @polatteu  www.polatteu.com Follow Patrik Simpson:  Instagram: @patriksimpson  Tiktok: @patriksimpsonbh www.patriksimpson.com Follow SnowWhite90210: Instagram: @snowwhite90210 Twitter: @SnowWhite9010 www.snowwhite90210.com Watch Gown and Out In Beverly Hills on Prime Video.  www.gownandoutinbeverlyhills.com #UndressedPodcast  Armenian Coffee Reading: https://polatteu.com/armenian-coffee-cup-read Learn more about your ad choices.
