If I Had 1 Podcast Strategy for 2025...(Entrepreneurs Edition)
Season 1 · Episode 207
lundi 21 octobre 2024 • Duration 04:19
Podcast strategies are cool, but what about the ones that actually work?
And we’re not just talking about getting more views, or going ‘viral’, because when you’re an entrepreneur or founder – you need more than passing interest to turn listeners into clients.
In this week’s episode, I give you a sneak peek into a straightforward and effective strategy that you can use to save yourself time and money.
I’m not kidding. Your podcast can replace discovery calls, all the window shopping, FAQ back-and-forth and help build more qualified leads.

It’s one of the biggest motivators for podcasters – making money off your podcast.
Which is all fine and good! After all, we help B2B podcasters, we’re no strangers to a bottom line.
The issue here is the ways that people conventionally think will help them ‘get that money’.
But is it at the expense of your brand? Your audience? Or even, dare I say, potential leads???
Tune in and let’s sort this all out!

Does it work?
That’s where strategy and planning comes in.

Advice Could be Ruining Your Intuition - The Easiest Way to Make Decisions - BopSolo #2
Season 1 · Episode 109
lundi 21 novembre 2022 • Duration 17:02
Welcome back to another installment of “BopSolo”!
In this episode, I tackle the culture of “taking advice” and dive deeper into the expert/influencer industry. I also talk about the importance of being your own person, having your own journey and making your own mistakes (and decisions).
As a business owner and entrepreneur myself, I have an intimate connection and almost daily engagement with this culture. While experts can give you some great insight and advice, it’s always important to be weary of your resources.
Episode Outline:
(0:00) - Introduction
(0:21) - “The fallacy of change”
(4:25) - How do you not lose your drive?
(5:39) - The culture of “taking advice”
(9:23) - The best advice is what didn’t work, broad advice doesn’t fit specific scenarios
(12:36) - The importance of making your own decisions and forging your own path
(14:53) - We’re in a saturated advice culture
(15:41) - Episode wrap-up

James Calcagni - Beating Lymes Disease After 12 Years with Ancient Chinese Healing and Waterproof Prosthetic Legs
Season 1 · Episode 107
lundi 7 novembre 2022 • Duration 01:51:41
We all like to say we have a “calling” in our lives - but for James Calcagni, it’s the real deal.
James is an entrepreneur, CEO, inventor, engineer and most importantly, a survivor. James contracted Lyme’s disease as a young child and suffered horrible complications from it for years that limited his life in many ways. This experience led him to Qigong, which we get to in the show, but it also gave him a unique perspective into a life of difficulty.
Now, James uses this perspective and his expertise as an engineer to design prosthetic limbs that address every small problem an amputee may have to face.
In this episode we cover James’ backstory, his scrappy journey to starting his own company and how his work lines up with what he considers his duty in life. We also discuss his flagship “shower-proof” prosthetic, where the technology is headed and much more!

Season 1 · Episode 103
lundi 10 octobre 2022 • Duration 01:48:21
Establishing yourself and who you are is one of the biggest and most important challenges we face in our lives. This is especially important when it comes to a career in music, where you always need to bring something new to the table.
