The answer is no, no she hasn't.

As a combat veteran who served and sacrificed along side friends who will never come home from Afghanistan, who carries the scars—both visible and invisible—of combat, I am beyond disgusted by the recent appointment of Jill McKnight as Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence, to be clear I’m not the only one either. Countless veterans from across this national and outside of it have reached out to share their distain and disgusted. It’s not only insulting; it shows utter contempt by Mark Carney’s Liberal cabinet towards those who've actually served our nation and risked everything to uphold our freedoms. Incompetence we already knew Mark was capable of, but this is a whole new level.

Alicia Duncan is the co-founder and principal designer of AR Interiors, a political and mental health advocate, and a devoted mom and stepmom to four.  Her life took an unexpected turn on October 21st, 2021 when her mother chose to end her life through Medical Assistance in Dying, also known as MAiD. Questioning the lawfulness of her death, Alicia and her sister sparked the first police investigation into a MAiD death in Canada, garnering international media attention. Since then, Alicia and her sister have become unwitting authorities on the subject of MAID, political advocates surrounding mental health, and are featured in the upcoming BBC documentary, “Better Off Dead?”Their opinions have been sought by the Canadian Parliament, as the country expands the availability of MAID, to include patients who are mentally ill. Alicia’s upcoming memoir, "The Other Side of the Straight Jacket: A Journey Through Mental Health and the Flaws of Medical Assistance in Dying,” is set to release in 2024. Trung immigrated to Chicago at 3 years old from Vietnam post war and had a interaction with a police offer at the age of 14 in the hood that ultimately left a good impression on him with him altering the direction in which his life was headed. Trung enlisted into the US Army with a ranger contract. Trung completed ranger training got his tan beret and posted to 2nd Battalion 75th Ranger Regiment. Trung deployed twice to Iraq and was involved in multiple direct action operations. Upon return of his second deployment he was discharged and pursed a career as a police officer starting in Chicago and then moving to the LAPD. After about two years he moved back to Chicago PD and successfully became a CPD SWAT Officer. Trung also talks about life in law enforcement and his methods and mindset for continual training and progression. Trung also created WE GO HOME.
