I'm seeing more and more people say, well, if you've got the natural skills as a coach, you can just go and start and do it. And I want to talk about the dangers of this.
We need to make sure that we are fully protected, and that not only protects us, but it protects our clients. If you are not trained, or in training as a coach, even if you do have professional indemnity insurance - if this is what you're offering, you are probably not legally covered.
Here are the highlights:

Ep 073: Online coaching truths
Episode 73
lundi 24 mai 2021 • Duration 14:58
In the online space, it does seem that if somebody has got to six figures in their business, people then think that they are the perfect person to help others get to six figures on their own.
I am going to be blasting through some myths here, and I'm going to be talking about the difference between mentoring and coaching, how many people do a blend as well as what is actually important in my opinion, from a consumer point of view.

{3:16} Do you talk about your client's results?
{4:20} Saying no to the cookie-cutter business model

{13:32} Who are you choosing to work with you and walk alongside you to take you to the next level?
Ep 072: Coaching the whole person
Episode 72
lundi 17 mai 2021 • Duration 14:34
Coaching helps clients find a solution to a problem – right? That’s right. But that’s not all coaches do.
The problems our clients present can be a reflection of something deeper going on. Usually, there’s something more behind a single situation.
As coaches, it’s our job to uncover those layers and unearth what’s happening. Only then, can we create transformative change.
How do we get to the root of the problem? We need to coach the whole person.
In this episode, Ruth discusses how we can begin to coach the entire person in front of us to achieve deeper change.
At Optimus, we’ve updated two of our courses. Check out:
The Coaching Fundamentals for brand-new coaches – designed to teach you the basics of coaching and equip you with foundational knowledge
Developing Your Coaching Skills for existing coaches – designed to upgrade your existing coaching skills and take you to the next level of your career
Both are self-paced courses made up of digestible sessions, workbooks and monthly calls to practise what you learn.
Explore the Coaching Fundamentals course here.
Discover Developing Your Coaching Skills here.
If you complete either of these courses, you’ll get £497 OFF any of our diplomas.
