Guest: After graduating from art school, Stephanie Sachs hopped on a plane seeking adventure and found a home on Maui. She has made her livelihood solely from her creative endeavors since she was twenty-five and consistently sells over 100K annually.

Now she has created “Artists Make Money”- How to Sell Your Art Without Selling Out, a self-paced online course teaching artists about revenue streams, managing their business, sales, and marketing.

Stephanie Sachs has a BFA from Washington University in St. Louis and has shown in Chelsea, New York, Miami, and Palm Springs. Sachs currently shows at the Four Seasons in Wailea Maui. In 2022, she was selected for the West Coast edition of New American Paintings.

Guest: Josh is an art advocate and Connecticut native who worked in asset management at Goldman Sachs before escaping corporate America to pursue his passion with the arts. During 2020, he spent about ten months posting different pictures of artworks on Instagram taken at the galleries in Chelsea, New York and many art fairs around the country including Art Basel and Art Miami.

After a visit to Gallery23 in New York and a conversation with a local artist, the seeds of his initiative, Art Basel and Beyond, were planted. In his interviews with artists, studio visits, and gallery and fair tours, Josh dives into the stories behind his dynamic guests from up-and-coming artists to seasoned professionals.

Art Basel and Beyond aimed to both recreate the acclaimed art fair and enable people to build relationships with artists by understanding their mission and technique.

His writing has appeared in Professional Artist Magazine, multiple newspapers, and dozens of radio shows and podcasts. He has guest lectured on marketing at schools like Southern Methodist University, Pacific Northwest College of Art, and the Fashion Institute of Technology and given workshops in multiple countries. Cory is also a serial entrepreneur and marketing consultant.

She studied Art History at Vassar College, writes book and catalog essays, curates and juries exhibitions, is a dedicated Instagram photographer and is the author of the experimental novella Zen Psychosis (2020, Griffith Moon). She speaks at galleries, schools, and cultural institutions nationally, and is a member of ArtTable and the LA Press Club, and sits on the Boards of Art Share-LA and the Venice Institute of Contemporary Art, the Advisory Council of Building Bridges Art Exchange, and the Brain Trust of Some Serious Business.
