Paul has been creating gardens that boast timeless charm and classic simplicity for over 25 years. In 2001, he was awarded the Centenary Medal for his contribution to public design projects. Paul has appeared on a number of gardening and lifestyle programs and published many widely-anticipated books, the most recent being ‘Small Garden Design’ (2019).

Johanna began her career in the pool as a competitive swimmer, winning a bronze medal at the 1990 Commonwealth Games, and a silver medal at the 1991 World Championships... before retiring at the age of 19. Having hosted the 12-logie award-winning show Better Homes and Gardens for 19 years, she has become an Australian household name. She is a board member for Beyond Blue and works closely with the Humpty Dumpty Foundation and the McGrath Foundation.

Martin and Pam Brook began their family's journey to the country by purchasing Brookfarm in 1989. Back then, it was a rundown dairy farm. Working with the local environment, they began to transform the property, embracing the small pocket of rainforest that remained and supporting it to rejuvenate. Planting macadamia trees, a natural rainforest plant, transformed the farm's practices. With a focus on working with the environment to support the health of everything, Brookfarm is a leading sustainability led business. With son Will Brook now managing the business, the Brook family continue to see the farm’s business evolve and support the rainforest surrounding it.
