#196: Vanilla Sex

dimanche 10 mai 2026Duration 01:15:54

You've had great sex that left you feeling nothing.

You've had a man who did everything right, and woken up emptier than before. You told yourself it was him. You moved on. You tried again. Same result, different man.

It was never him. And it was never the act of intimacy. It was the absence of everything that needed to come first.

Vanilla sex has nothing to do with what's happening in the bedroom. It's sex without roots. Sex without time. Sex without knowing someone, and being known back. And if you've been cycling through men wondering why nothing ever feels like enough, this episode is going to name something you've felt but never quite had the words for.

I recorded this 48 hours after a real epiphany hit me mid-dating: live, unfiltered, and straight from Bali. I tell you the full story of the man I've been dating, the padel court where it started, the wine cellar date, the comedy show, the cup of tea that wasn't just a cup of tea, and the moment I caught myself about to do the exact thing I tell every woman not to do.

Because the truth is: if you're using sex to try to feel something, no man will ever be able to give you what you're actually looking for. Time and time again you will be setting you and him up to fail. And the sooner we name that, the sooner everything changes.

Raw, real, and recorded live in Bali two days after the epiphany hit. You're welcome.

WHAT WE GET INTO

— What vanilla sex actually is, and why it has nothing to do with the bedroom

— Why the f*ck and chuck cycle is grief in disguise, not cruelty

— The Healthy Man Starter Pack: how to tell if it's real or just an act

— Why making him wait isn't about games, it's about you finding out the truth

— The Bali dating story unfolding right now, live revelations and completely unfiltered

#195: Ryan Moresby-White: You're not his girlfriend. You're his initiation.

dimanche 3 mai 2026Duration 01:26:40

He was a little boy. You were the woman who paid for it.

You didn't fall in love with a man. You fell in love with a seven year old who hadn't grieved his childhood yet.

And until he does,  he will sabotage every relationship that gets close enough to matter.

Ryan Moresby-White works with hundreds of men, fathers, CEOs, men in their 70s, helping them do the one thing society never taught them: grieve. He's built a multi-million dollar company doing it. And he's one of the most embodied, present men I've ever sat across from.

In this episode, Ryan gets completely honest about the relationship he lost because of his own unresolved wounds, the four hours he spent on a bathroom floor in Bali vomiting after she left, and the nine months on the grass on the Sunshine Coast that changed everything.

This is the episode I made for the women in my world who are tired of carrying men who don't know they're still boys. And it's for the men who are ready to find out.

What we get into:

  • Why most men are emotionally operating as 7-year-olds, and what to do about it

  • The real reason men sabotage relationships (it has nothing to do with you)

  • The post-breakup level up, and the two very different paths it leads to

  • How to support a man on his healing journey without becoming his mother

  • What a truly safe man looks like, and why he can feel so confronting

Timestamps:

00:00: Most men are little boys walking around in adult bodies

01:15: What a rite of passage actually is, and why men don't get one anymore

06:12: Why women become the unintentional initiators for uninitiated men

11:03: The tree ring analogy: you're not dating one man, you're dating all of him

26:47: Ryan ends a year-long relationship, and shares why live on air

37:24: The bathroom floor in Bali: 4 hours of vomiting after she left

43:08: The post-breakup level up, two paths, two very different men

57:51: What women can do to actually support a man on his healing journey

#186: How to Break the Pattern That Keeps Breaking You

dimanche 1 mars 2026Duration 01:04:03

Have you ever sworn you were “done” with a man, a job, a pattern… and then found yourself right back in it? This episode is a deep dive into why we loop the same patterns over and over again, and what it actually takes to be complete, not just “healed enough” to cope.

I share the story of a Bali clothing brand I adored but that kept leaving me feeling disrespected, and how walking out of that store for the last time cracked open a much bigger pattern of self-abandonment, body image, and identity. I also take you into the trauma-bonded relationship with my ex, the man my inner child went to for safety, and the final straw that forced me to create that safety inside myself instead.

This is an episode about energetic real estate: why nothing new can land when you’re still half in, half out with the old.

For the woman who knows better in her mind, but her body keeps going back.

For the woman who can feel a bigger life calling, but is still entangled with past pains and limitations.

Timestamps

00:00: Why you keep looping patterns in love, work and behaviour (even when you “know better”)
04:00: “Readiness isn’t being healed, it’s being complete” – the distinction that changes everything
07:02: The Bali goddess clothes: loving the product, hating the disrespect, and starting to outgrow an identity
21:08: The stylist, the changeroom and old bullying wounds – when body image trauma hijacks your self-expression
39:22: The $650 bag and the full-body “never again” – declaring completion and finding a new store the same night
47:01: The ex who felt like safety: trauma bond, little-girl need, and the sentence that shattered my nervous system
53:03: Creating safety for the inner child instead of acting from the wound, and finally cutting the cord
59:01: Energetic real estate, calling in the final lessons, and becoming a magnet for what (and who) you actually desire
