July 31 2024 - Frank Corrado & Rob Williams
Episode 874
mercredi 31 juillet 2024 • Duration 01:49:24
Summer of scoring? The Canucks bolstered their winger depth this summer, so Matt and Blake want to know what that means for the Canucks already lofty goal totals from last season. They also take their daily peek at the Olympics, and check in on the women’s soccer team and the men’s hoops squad as both go in search of golden redemption of different sorts. TSN’s Frank Corrado stops by with a personal scouting report on former teammate Daniel Sprong, and offers his thoughts on why it hasn’t all come together for the skilled forward, and where he’d fit in the Canucks lineup. Then it’s Rob Willams of the The Daily Hive with his bread and butter reporting on the status of seating at Rogers Arena, plus a big boost in single game ticket costs for Canucks fans this season. All that, plus the latest on a Whitecaps win in Leagues Cup and Lions roster update after their bye week!

Episode 783
lundi 8 avril 2024 • Duration 01:16:51
The big week begins! The Canucks have a massive 3 game set this week, and Matt and Blake get you ready with a preview of the showdown with the Golden Knights, and all the permutations thereafter. The guys have the latest from the game-day skate as the Canucks make changes, including the insertion of Arturs Silovs in between the pipes. What does that mean for the crease for the rest of the season, especially if they get a win? And, are 11 forwards and 7 D going to be a thing?
Former Canucks Executive Brian Burke drops by with his insight into the season for the Canucks, including how they can beat LA if it comes down to a playoff matchup, the GM’s role at this time of the season, LTIR and more! Plus, Burkie discusses the possibility of the PWHL expanding to Vancouver.

April 5 2024 - Frank Seravalli & Al Murdoch
Episode 782
vendredi 5 avril 2024 • Duration 01:54:26
Another playoff preview?? The Canucks close out their road trip in LA on Saturday, and a win makes it even more possible that the two sides face each other in the first round, so Matt and Blake look ahead to the possible lineup changes and how the Canucks might be able to break through the stodgy LA system. The guys also wonder aloud about the defence rotation and who will find themselves on the outside of the top 6 come playoff time.
Daily Faceoff's Frank Seravalli stops by and gives his thoughts on the neck and neck Norris trophy race, the less dramatic Coach of the year competition, and the muddy future of the Arizona Coyotes.
Plus, a special visit from the voice of the Canucks home games, PA announcer Al Murdoch! The big voice weighs in on the return to the playoffs and the excitement in the building, and does Al know if the skate jersey will be the choice for the post-season? Presented by Applewood Auto Group.

April 4 2024 - Frank Corrado & Jeff Paterson
Episode 781
jeudi 4 avril 2024 • Duration 01:50:39
Canucks earn the split and outlast the Coyotes! Quinn Hughes is the story right now and Matt and Blake are all over it as the Norris favourite has lifted his game to another level again. The guys poll whether or not Hughes is the team MVP, and whether anyone will follow his example as the team tries to find its dominance again ahead of the playoffs.
Frank Corrado stops by to wax poetically on the Canucks best defenceman, and how he’s adapted and developed even further. Frank weighs in on the Norris consideration as well and then finishes with some storytelling on line brawls in the wake of the Devils-Rangers standoff.
Jeff Paterson also stops in with his post-game report on what happened in the desert, and whether or not the Canucks PP may be turning the corner. Plus, the goaltending situation, as Silovs shines and Demko nears a return! JPat also reveals that Rink Wide: Vancouver will be going live with post-game shows on video! April 3 2024 - Patrick Johnston & Irfaan Gaffar
Episode 780
mercredi 3 avril 2024 • Duration 01:55:47
Matt and Blake discuss the Canucks' 6-3 loss in Vegas and whether it's time to worry. Difficult night for Elias Pettersson, Ian Cole, Casey DeSmith, Nikita Zadorov and others. They talk about the hard-charging Oilers and first place in the division, the Canucks' poor form since the all-star break (especially against good teams), Pettersson's pointless nights, officiating, missing Thatcher Demko, and whether Noah Juulsen is one of their six best defencemen.
Patrick Johnston joins and says he's worried, especially about Pettersson. He talks about Demko's timeline for return, whether DeSmith should've been pulled in Vegas, the power play, the star players, Rick Tocchet begging players to step up, the team's lack of run-and-gun and more recently, lack of gun, and flashbacks to the 1992 & 1993 Canucks.
Irf Gaffar stops by and says it's no mystery as to who needs to give more. He takes us through injuries and timelines for return on Demko, Elias Lindholm, plus guys like Hronek (and Pettersson?) playing through injuries. Cole, Juulsen, Vasily Podkolzin, Arshdeep Bains are also covered. Presented by Applewood Auto Group.

April 2 2024 - John Shannon & Jeff Paterson
Episode 779
mardi 2 avril 2024 • Duration 01:54:21
On the road again! Canucks are in Vegas to start a 3 game roadie this week, so Matt and Blake preview the possible first round showdown, including the lineup changes. Also, can the PP build off what happened versus Anaheim and can Dakota Joshua keep this up?
Jeff Paterson stops by from Rink Wide: Vancouver with his take on the Canucks form of late and whether there’s reason to be confident just on defence alone. Jeff gives us his lineup permutations, and possible goaltending assignments for the week too. Then, it’s John Shannon stopping by for his thoughts on the battle for top spot in the Pacific and the hard changing Oilers. John uses his years in the league office and tv to guess which day the Canucks might start their first round series, and comments on the reports that some NHL games might move to Amazon for next season.
That plus some news on the Whitecaps and C’s, and football odds and ends too! Presented by Applewood Auto Group.
