Many coaches know how to help their clients define what they want, but sometimes we don’t apply that same discipline to our own businesses.

I walk through several areas where clear goals matter, including revenue, impact, lifestyle, contribution, personal growth, and specific business milestones. I also share a simple framework we used recently at Christian Coaches Academy Live:

“I will ______ by ______.”

That simple sentence forces you to decide what you actually want to accomplish and when you intend to do it.

I also share real examples of coaches who moved forward after putting a specific date around a long-standing goal, including leaving a job to build a coaching business and finally launching a podcast after talking about it for years.
