Rosemary’s Ladies: A Horror Movie & Bad Movie Review Podcast – Details, episodes & analysis

Week 4 brings us to “The Roommate”, a garbage and fedora filled movie that we both hated. We talk confusing 2000s movies, how this movie stars a fedora and belly button ring, and cat horror (#JusticeforCuddles). Week 3 of, “Now Streaming on Netflix” month brings us to 2009’s, “Case 39” and well, it’s not good. Basically this movie is boring as sh*t and is way too long. Week 2 of doll possession month brings us to Annabelle: Creation, the prequel to the not-so-great movie Annabelle. People are failing vibe checks, children are getting yeeted everywhere, demons are transatlantic teleporting, we don’t understand how the demon’s powers work, and Jen is impressed with none of it. Angry ghosts in your wall, eh? Now you're speaking my language. This week we watch the entirety disappointing, early 2000’s, “The Grudge.” Jen had never seen it and middle school Molly was completely messed up by it. However, it sure didn't live up to the memories. Join us as we discuss the messy AF timelines, the spinoff series we want (Toshio and his cat), and the quick killing techniques of the Grudge Lady. We also discuss the series finale of Game of Thrones (season 8, episode 6, “The Iron Throne”), so skip to 13:15 to avoid GoT spoilers. Woah boy, it’s been a hot minute since we got to see a good movie, but this one was pretty darn good. This week we talk about Man Bat, blood hot tubs in your house, and possibly most importantly - Game of Thrones #HotPieForTheThrone. (Skip to 13:15 to avoid spoilers for GoT season 8, episode 5, “The Bells.”)  We also talk cave interior decorating and how hard it must be to get someone out there to fix the Wi-Fi (our hearts go out to you, Gollums). Three things we know about getting into a private 7+ boarding school, you must have a 10 pack, you must awkwardly play “I Love Rock n’ Roll” on a dive bar jukebox and then awkwardly dance, and last but most important, you must run some f*cking errands. This week we watch 2006’s, “The Covenant.” If you enjoy below average plot lines, hot men in tiny swim trunks, and witch puns, this movie is for you. Tessa? Tassa? Tissa? We spend way too long trying to figure out how to pronounce Taissa Farmiga’s name. This week we watch The Nun featuring the most useless priest in the world. We talk about how this film is actually a documentary about people who bother Molly at her dragon castle, Jen forgets to make a Sound of Music joke, and we propose new Sister Act sequels.

What do you get when you add Jason Statham, Rainn Wilson, a 60 ft shark and the song “Hey Mickey” sung in Thai? A really mediocre shark movie. This week we watched 2018’s, “The Meg” and boy was it a disappointment. The shark of this movie could learn a thing or two from watching “Deep Blue Sea” on how to kill humans. Join us as we talk about how a group of adults lose a 60ft shark (several times), how Ruby Rose is a 15/10 on the hotness scale, and how Molly had no idea that Jason Statham was British. This week we watch 2012’s “ABC’s of Death” and it gets gory, silly, and downright weird. 26 different directors from around the world were assigned a letter from the alphabet and told to make a short horror story about death and it went several ways.
