The Healing Power of Somatics with Mallorie Buoy

Episode 21

mercredi 8 octobre 2025Duration 01:04:52

In this deeply resonant conversation, Jenny Jimeno and Mallorie Buoy explore the transformative landscape of somatics as a path toward freedom, healing, and remembrance of self. Together, they reflect on how life’s challenges can become invitations for growth, and how the wisdom of the body can lead us home to wholeness.

As the Founder and Director of Homebody School of Somatics, Mallorie brings over two decades of experience in psychology, education, movement, and mysticism. Her studies in Waldorf education, yoga, Compassionate Inquiry (Gabor Maté), and Somatic Experiencing (Peter Levine) have shaped her integrative approach to understanding the relationship between body, brain, and the greater quantum field of existence.

Her personal journey of reversing a Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis through somatic work has deepened her understanding of the body’s innate capacity to heal. Mallorie’s work bridges the alchemical with the practical, uniting spiritual awakening with social justice and the collective upliftment of those in marginalized circumstances.

Through this dialogue, Jenny and Mallorie invite us to consider how abundance and scarcity live within both the personal and the collective, and how true healing requires deep engagement with what is present. Wholeness, they remind us, is not something to seek but something to remember, a return to the truth that we are already complete.

Womb Wisdom and The Medicine Within our Journeys with Tami Lynn Kent

Episode 10

mercredi 26 février 2025Duration 01:09:45

This episode is a deep dive into the wisdom of the female body, the journey of motherhood, and the power of emotional connection. Jenny sits down with Tami Lynn Kent to explore the profound link between the heart and the womb, highlighting how the body holds its own medicine and intuitive knowledge. Tami is the founder of Holistic Pelvic Care for women and author of Wild Feminine: Finding Power, Spirit & Joy in the Female Body, Wild Mothering and Wild Creative. She is an international teacher and TEDx speaker. Tami is passionate about empowering women in health and teaching them how to cultivate their creative energy in all stages of life through her practitioner training programs and personal sessions.

They dive into the role of creativity—not just for women, but for boys and girls alike—and how embracing feminine wisdom can help shape a more compassionate world. Tammy shares her personal experiences with pregnancy and miscarriage, offering insight into the healing process and the spiritual transformation that can come from loss. They touch on the importance of honoring ancestral wisdom and how healing can ripple across generations. Raising boys, they reflect, comes with the challenge of nurturing their sensitivity in a culture that often suppresses it. The feminine essence, they agree, plays a vital role in creating a healthy balance between strength and emotional depth.

Motherhood, they remind us, is an ongoing journey of growth, expansion, and deep listening—to intuition, to the body, and to the wisdom that has been passed down. Birth stories and maternal experiences shape not just the individual but the entire lineage, making it essential to acknowledge both trauma and healing. They also explore the importance of self-care, the need for mothers to nurture themselves, and the way creativity can be woven into everyday life. Ultimately, this conversation is a celebration of the wild feminine and the journey of freeing the untamed, intuitive self within

Embracing Your Light: A Journey to Self-Liberation with Xavier Dagba

Episode 9

mercredi 12 février 2025Duration 01:09:31

This week on Ritual of Wild, Jenny sits down with Xavier Dagba for a deep and heartfelt conversation about personal growth, spirituality, and the courage it takes to embrace our true selves. Xavier is a shadow integration facilitator, trauma-informed transformation guide and teacher. His work is about self liberation. He finds deep fulfillment in assisting light workers and thought leaders dissolve the hidden forces that keep them from shining bright and unleashing their expression. His work is psycho-spiritual and bridges Jungian psychology, somatic experiencing, spiritual wisdom and transformational coaching.

In this conversation they explore the fears that hold us back—fear of humiliation, alienation, and even our own brightness—and how self-liberation begins when we stop resisting and start listening to what our bodies and emotions are trying to tell us. Xavier shares his own journey of transformation, highlighting the power of conscious living and the importance of facing both our light and our shadows. They discuss how reconnecting with the divine isn’t something that just happens—it requires curiosity, effort, and a willingness to sit with discomfort. Darkness, as Xavier beautifully puts it, is often unactualized wisdom asking for our attention.

They also touch on the role of the nervous system in carrying unprocessed pain, the transformative journey of parenting, and how living unconsciously can lead to emotional bankruptcy. Parenting, in particular, reveals the parts of ourselves we may have repressed, offering an opportunity for deep healing and self-awareness. At its core, this conversation is an invitation to step fully into authenticity—to trust that it’s safe to express every part of who you are and to embrace both the struggle and the beauty of being human.

Midwifing a Cultural Shift: Reclaiming the Wisdom of Motherhood with Rachelle Seliga

Episode 6

mercredi 18 décembre 2024Duration 57:31

This week, Jenny is sitting down with Rachelle Seliga to talk about the raw, complex realities of motherhood, grief, and the power of acceptance. Rachelle is a devoted Mother and Midwife whose work is dedicated to midwifing a cultural shift - where our innate wisdom, personal authority and the sanctity of Life are honored and centered. Rachelle's legacy work is INNATE Postpartum Care - Certification Training, which teaches the global postpartum tradition of "Physiologic Postpartum Care," the unifying tradition etched into the blood and bone of postpartum women. Thousands of practitioners are trained in INNATE's body of work; supporting thousands of families worldwide.

Rachelle lives and works from the understanding that: The most effective and powerful usage of our respective & collective energy, comes from following that which is most alive in us - and creating from THIS place. In this way systems and structures that align with Life and our connection with it - are born.

In this episode, they explore how societal conditioning often pushes mothers toward martyrdom, and why embracing emotions — even anger — can be a catalyst for empowerment and change. Rachelle shares her journey of building supportive spaces for moms, highlighting that leadership in motherhood is about facilitating growth, not seeking approval. They also touch on the importance of emotional intelligence and how acknowledging feelings helps navigate challenges. From the critical need for postpartum care to the unique hurdles of raising teens, they stress that mothers need deep resources and support as their children grow. Health choices made today have a cumulative impact on future well-being, and both rest and nourishment are key to recovery.

This conversation reminds us that self-care isn’t about adding more to your plate — sometimes it’s about letting things go. Motherhood is a journey of acceptance, self-discovery, and learning to transform challenges into opportunities for growth. Tune in to hear the full conversation on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you listen!
