011 - Bre Tuttle

Season 1 · Episode 11

mercredi 6 octobre 2021Duration 14:29

Bre Tuttle is the designer behind Bre T Quilt Designs. She is a stay-at-home mom to four goofy boys, located on a small farm in Northeast Indiana. She started quilting in 2017 and hasn’t looked back. Not only does she love designing quilts with bright and modern fabrics, but she also loves all of the local and online connections she has been able to make through quilting. The quilting community truly is the best! When she is not quilting or fabric shopping (two separate hobbies!) you can find her chasing kids or sitting on the front porch with a glass of sweet tea.

You can find Bre on her website at www.bretquiltdesigns.com, on Instagram at @BreTQuiltDesigns, and on Pinterest as BreTQuiltDesigns.

In this episode, I chat with Bre about her very first quilt making adventure, how quilting and fabric buying are two totally different hobbies, and helping her son make his own quilt.

Erin resides in Northern Virginia with her husband, two children, and her puppy Tula (yes, named after the amazing fabric designer Tula Pink!) Welcome Erin to the show!

You can find Erin on her website at www.lovesewmodern.com, on Instagram at @LoveSewModern, and on Pinterest & Etsy as LoveSewModern.

In this episode, I chat with Erin about "how many quilts is too many", her poor sewing machine that was killed by a storm, and why her husband is no longer allowed to help with fabric requirement calculations.
