26 - Self-Empowered Vitality with Jen Tullo
Episode 26
mardi 7 avril 2026 • Duration 30:10
So many women have spent years being dismissed by doctors, told their symptoms are in their head, or left feeling like their body is broken. If that sounds familiar, this episode is for you.
I'm sitting down with Jen Tullo, a bioregional herbalist and clinical nutrition master's student, to talk about self-empowered healing after chronic illness and how to rebuild trust in your own intuition while still partnering with healthcare providers.
Jen shares her experience with POTS and dysautonomia, years of being dismissed and misdiagnosed from age 15 until finally receiving a diagnosis in 2021. We explore how to reframe "wrong turns" as learning experiences, remove moral judgment from health decisions, and align your choices with your values.
Whether you're navigating chronic illness, feeling disconnected from your body's wisdom, or struggling to advocate for yourself in the medical system, you'll walk away with a practical framework for values-based health decisions.
KEY TAKEAWAYS:
Healthcare should be collaborative, not outsourced. Treat your relationship with practitioners as a partnership where you bring lived experience and they bring expertise.
There are no "wrong" decisions, only informative ones. Remove moral judgment from health choices and see each decision as data about what works for your body.
The values-based framework: Identify your core values, define what they mean, anticipate obstacles, communicate needs, and implement small changes in your space, practices, and schedule.
ABOUT JEN TULLO:
Jen is a Bioregional Herbalist and Master's Student of Clinical Nutrition, Therapeutic Yoga Trainer & Guide. After 25 years of self-empowered healing, she now encourages others to discover their own healing power through natural plant medicines, local foods, and reconnection with ecosystems and community.

25 - Your Body Already Knows: Embodied Intuition & the Art of Letting Go with Dina Berrin
Episode 25
mardi 31 mars 2026 • Duration 33:27
Ep. 24 - Radiantly Rooted with Rachel
What if the answers you've been searching for aren't out there at all? What if they've been quietly waiting inside you, beneath all the noise, comparison, and "shoulds" that drown them out?
In this episode, I'm sitting down with Dina Berrin, a certified life coach, intuitive guide, and author of The Way Within: Igniting Your Intuition with Sacred Tools. Dina has a beautiful way of helping women understand exactly where they are emotionally and energetically so they can set healthy boundaries, trust themselves, and move forward with clarity instead of overwhelm.
We talk about what it takes to reconnect with your intuition, how to distinguish between anxiety and intuition (they feel so different in the body), and why slowing down is the only way to hear yourself again.
Whether you've lost touch with your inner voice or you're just starting to hear those quiet nudges, this conversation will meet you right where you are.
🎯 KEY TAKEAWAYS FROM THIS EPISODE:
1️⃣ Intuition is a muscle and like any muscle, it gets stronger with practice. You don't have to trust it for the big decisions right away. Start small. Which grocery line feels faster? What does your gut say before a meeting? The more you practice listening, the clearer it gets.
2️⃣ Anxiety feels urgent and repetitive. Intuition feels steady and body-based. Learn to tell the difference by slowing down enough to notice what's happening in your body, not just what's spinning in your head. Intuition doesn't shout. It whispers.
3️⃣ You never fail, you either win or you learn. Stop waiting to feel "ready." Your future self isn't more qualified than you are right now. She just started taking the next small step, and then the one after that. What if you're already ready?

Ep 17 - From Yoga Teacher to Wedding Officiant: Marla Cantor’s Unexpected Path
Episode 17
mardi 10 février 2026 • Duration 33:15
In this episode, I’m joined by Marla Cantor, a longtime yoga teacher and wedding officiant whose path to creating deeply meaningful ceremonies unfolded in a way she never expected.
Marla discovered yoga more than 30 years ago by chance, at a time when studios were rare and she never imagined herself teaching.
What drew her in wasn’t performance or achievement, but the quiet. The feeling of being in her body without expectations.
Over time, yoga became a steady anchor in her life - shaping how she listens, how she holds space, and how she shows up for others.
Years later, that same presence led her somewhere surprising. A yoga student asked Marla to officiate her wedding, and with a mix of nerves and trust, she said yes. What followed was the beginning of a new calling - one rooted in the same skills yoga had been teaching her all along.
In our conversation, Marla shares how she brings yoga off the mat and into sacred ceremony. We talk about how she works closely with couples, the thoughtful ways she gathers their stories, and how she weaves breath, presence, and deep listening into each ceremony she creates.
For Marla, weddings aren’t about performance or perfection - they’re about connection, calm, and honoring love heart by heart.
This episode is a beautiful reminder that sometimes the practices that ground us most can quietly guide us into work we never planned, but feel deeply aligned.
🔍 What You’ll Take Away from This Episode:
- Marla’s unexpected journey from yoga teacher to wedding officiant
- How yoga skills like presence, breath, and listening translate into meaningful ceremonies
- What it really means to “hold space” during emotionally charged moments
- How Marla works closely with couples to tell their love story with care and intention
- Why gentle presence often matters more than perfectly chosen words

Ep 16 - The Secret to Deeper Connection in Midlife, Starting with You with Cheryl Dillon
Episode 16
mardi 3 février 2026 • Duration 37:29
Episode 16 | Radiantly Rooted with Rachel
Meet Cheryl Dillon: a certified life coach and connection expert who has spent more than 15 years helping people not just survive, but thrive through major life transitions.
With a background in psychology, professional training from the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC), and certification in event planning from San Diego State University, she blends emotional insight with thoughtful design to craft experiences that are both uplifting and transformative.
Like many women, Cheryl spent decades doing all the “right” things - working hard, being responsible, and showing up for the people she loves. While she values that deeply, midlife arrived not as a crisis, but as a powerful turning point - a chance to reflect on what she wanted this next chapter to look and feel like.
She realized she didn’t want to buy into the idea that this stage signals a slowdown or that the best years are behind her. Instead, she chose to intentionally design a life rich with depth, joy, and new possibility — and to help other women do the same.
That vision became Funderful Experiences, a company dedicated to helping women shape midlife chapters that feel vibrant, purposeful, and true to who they are. Through her Connected Hearts in-person membership community, The Uplift newsletter, and private coaching, Cheryl brings this mission to life - creating environments that nurture genuine connection, self-trust, and personal growth in ways that feel natural, nourishing, and real.
Her expertise in navigating change is rooted in nearly two decades as co-founder of Equitable Mediation Services, a nationally recognized practice where she has helped people move through divorce with compassion and respect - skills that continue to inform the supportive, judgment-free spaces she creates today.
Cheryl believes midlife isn’t about settling down - it’s the beginning of something truly Funderful.
🔍 What You’ll Take Away from This Episode:
- How Cheryl turned a series of quiet wake-up calls into a bold, joyful midlife reinvention
- Why meaningful experiences matter more than stuff (and how to create more of them)
- The surprising power of puzzles, gardening, and mindful hobbies for getting out of your head
- What it really means to become your own best friend—and how that changes everything
- How to stop the inner critic and build self-trust in your daily life
- What Funderful Experiences is—and why it's changing how women connect, heal, and grow
