Paul and Nick get the opportunity to sit down with Mike Cherim, a modern-day "Renaissance man" who has been hiking and climbing since tackling the "Rock Pile" at the young age of four! Mike is the owner and founder of Redline Guiding up in Intervale, New Hampshire, as well as an instructor, guide, and even a Justice of the Peace!

Paul tackles Adams and Madison and tries not to get blown away on a Spring-like day in the Northern Presidentials, Nick tackles repeat agents on the mighty 450' Diamond Hill in Cumberland while everyone is getting up North, stays local hiking with the family, and attempts a picnic in Newport despite the chilly temps, and the boys have a great chat with Mike Cherim of Redline Guiding! The boys are stoked this week to sit down with friend and listener of the podcast "daveshitsinthewoods"! Bundle up and get ready to move as the boys are joined by Nick Higgins and James Leitner! The pair are preparing to attempt 100 miles on a ~3.2 mile loop in 24 hours, starting on January 16th, 2025 in the heart of the Whites; Lincoln, New Hampshire, in honor of the late Christoper Roma and to raise money for the non-profit Mission Clean Water!

Josh tries to make Nick feel awkward with dead air, Josh refuses to put on space heaters in his basement studio space, Nick is still defrosting from bagging Carter Dome on a very cold day and visits the New England Aquarium, and settle in for the amazing story of family man, friend, and ultra-hiker Chris Roma! His passion for hiking, the outdoors, and using it to raise funds to provide clean water to people across the globe continues to reverberate and influence others in the Whites, and Nick Higgins and James Leitner are picking up where he left off!
