Grist, the Hunger Tide from Modern Horizons 2 has some serious potential for degenerate nonsense and I can't wait to get my hands on it.  This card plays in a new design space that we hopefully see more of in the future.

Today, we're looking at a card from the upcoming Magic: the Gathering set Dungeons and Dragons: Adventures in the Forgotten Realms -- Drizzt Do'Urden.  This card is incredibly powerful which is appropriate given how impressive the character is.

Today, we're looking at a card from Stixhaven: School of Mages, Semester's End. This card, like many "flicker" effects, has some unique uses that might not seem apparent at first glance that can really impact a game of Magic.

Today, we're looking at a card that fits perfectly into aggressive spell-slinger decks that makes the archetype really sing.  Mavinda, Students' Advocate is my kind of card.  It reads complicated but plays smoothly and has a huge impact on the game.

This card is big, dumb, and fun.  Plus it explores an interesting design space of cycling payoffs.  In the end, I'm not surprised this card didn't make a more significant impact on formats like Standard or Historic, but I appreciate it all the same.
