The BYU Cougars are taking the mandate of Brigham Young University's (BYU) statement that "The World Is Our Campus" literally as Kalani Sitake and the BYU football program spread their proverbial wings by expanding the BYU recruiting footprint across the entirety of the Big 12 Conference footprint as they seek to make inroads into new talent-rich areas to bolster the program.

The BYU Cougars are working in a college athletics universe that is so out-of-whack that there seems to be no good answers for what the right course of action is, particularly when it comes to NIL and Jake Hatch believes that the best action to settle things down may have to come from within as compared to having at outside entity step in and regulate matters.

The BYU football program got some good news Monday night when 2025 defensive line prospect Kelepi Vete announced his commitment to play for Sione Po'uha, Jay Hill, Kalani Sitake and the rest of the Brigham Young University (BYU) football program and Jake's fervent hope is that Kelepi's pledge will induce his brother, Siosiua Vete, to join him in Provo.

The BYU Cougars are working on building out Kevin Young's first roster as BYU men's basketball program and based on their recent visits with former UCLA Bruins forward Berke Buyuktuncel and French center Maxim Logue, the BYU basketball program could be on their way to establishing a Euorpean talent pipeline to Brigham Young University (BYU).

The BYU Cougars saw a signee in Isaac Davis released from his national letter of intent from the BYU men's basketball program and it appears he will join the Utah State Aggies and Jake Hatch explains what led to the separation and why he believes all parties will be better off as Kevin Young goes about building the BYU basketball program in his own style.

Jake then talked about the nature of Kevin Young and how he will operate at Brigham Young University (BYU) with his no-nonsense approach and straight-forward nature and it appears that he has a grand plan for what he hopes to morph BYU into and it appears to have gotten off to a solid start after Mark Pope's departure to join the Kentucky Wildcats.

Finally, the show wrapped up with some thoughts on what Jake would do to help Kalani Sitake, Aaron Roderick and Jay Hill improve the BYU football program as they enter year two in the Big 12 Conference along with addressing other Locked On Cougars insider group questions about the Big 12 season ahead and his embarrassing lack of anime knowledge.

The BYU Cougars are in the midst of their biggest lull in the calendar and that made it an opporutne time to catch up with BYU football team captain Connor Pay as he dished on what he's been doing since spring camp ended for Kalani Sitake's program and the work they are putting in to ensure they don't have a repeat of last season in the Big 12 Conference this fall.

Jake Hatch and Connor then talked about the addition of Austin Leausa to the BYU roster as an NCAA Transfer Portal addition along with the some thoughts on how BYU recruiting works with players vs. coaches and why the belief inside the program doesn't match what outsiders believe about Brigham Young University's (BYU) chances this season in the Big 12.  

Finally, the show wrapped up with some thoughts from Connor about the improvement the BYU offensive line has made under TJ Woods and where their strengths lie currently as well as some thoughts on Danny Sa'ili's transfer to the Arkansas Razorbacks and the addition of former Utah State Aggies QB McCae Hillstead to BYU's roster.
