PodPros: Crafting a Solid Script for podcast | Katharina Brendel

Kat has a background in journalism and marketing which helps her in creating amazing podcasts. She shares how storytelling is essential for the success of a podcast but it is equally important to identify if a good story marries well with the end goal of marketing.
She talks about scripting podcasts that are curated with end listener in mind.
Some noteworthy points from Katharina:
- There is no getting around the practice. You will have to start recording the episodes and eventually you will be able to identify areas of improvement. For example, if you should take longer pauses in between sentences or you should speak a little faster.
- Understand what intellectual level your listeners are at and then tailor the messaging for them so that you can create better value for them.
- Start with something that hooks your listeners and encourages them to listen further. Later, give them the meat of the episode.
