Rojo Perez is a New York-based comedian. Originally from Puerto Rico, Rojo moved to Florida for college and began performing stand-up comedy at age 20 in local clubs and small cafés. In a busy 2021, Rojo made his network debut on The Tonight Show w/ Jimmy Fallon, was also featured in Comedy Central’s Tight Five and served as a story editor for an upcoming Netflix show. In April ‘19, Rojo formed part of HBO special titled Entre Nos: Spot On. In August 2017 Rojo made his late night stand up debut on TBS "Conan". Since moving to New York City he has been a cast member on MTV's Decoded, Rojo was featured on Comedy Central's Funny 'Cause It's True, Time Out New York, TruTV's Comedy Knockout and Univision's FLAMA. In 2016 he was selected as a Standup NBC finalist and has been a part of the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival, SXSW, Moontower Comedy Festival, New York Comedy Festival, Bridgetown Comedy Festival, LA Riot Comedy Festival and Akumal Comedy Festival in Mexico. He has also performed at top-tier comedy clubs across the country, such as the Comedy Studio in Boston, the Comedy Club on State in Madison, Cap City Comedy Club in Austin, ACME Comedy Company in Minneapolis, etc. Rojo's future plans include one day earning enough money so that relatives will ask to borrow some and continuing to spread laughter regardless of race, religion, or gender.

Maggie Mayfield is an Austin based Stand up comic, musician and business owner. She records everything from romance novels to educational content for children. Her company, MMMade It Media works with actors to help them break into the world of voice overs, giving instruction on technique and beginning a freelance business guidance.



When Maggi isn't talking into a microphone to record her smooth voice, she's on stage delighting audiences with her musical comedy. You can find her latest album, "Wake Up, Maggi" wherever you like to listen to music.

She has traveled all over the country performing for clubs and festivals including The Sno Jam Comedy Festival, Ventura Comedy Festival and Laugh Riot Grrrl. She is also a semi-finalist in the Opening Act Contest to play the Hollywood Bowl with Coldplay.



Maggi is a self taught guitarist and accompanies her jokes with parody songs. She has opened for David Spade (Paradise Comedy Tour, Hawaii) David Koechner (Anchorman) and hosted Craig Robinson (The Office).

She is professionally trained at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC, The Academy of Radio Broadcasting in Huntington Beach, CA, and earned her Bachelors of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Latino Studies from The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Maggi has also studied the fine art of improv with Second City in Chicago.

Valerie Lopez grew up watching Saturday Night Live, ALF and has seen live comedy across the country. She started interviewing local Austin comics for the podcast extension of ComedyWham.com in January 2016 because she wanted to know more about the lives of comics off stage. After attending local comedy festivals, she boldly asked if national comics would also talk to her and lucky for her and us, many have said yes. She’s interviewed comics from Austin, Canada, Los Angeles, New York, England, Australia, and Kuala Lumpur. The live podcast has been featured in Austin and at Lysistrata Comedy Festival. Her co-host Miss Purrington can often be heard contributing to the podcast.

Her style of interview is very much a meandering conversation - what was their first set like? What inspires, scares, brings and keeps them in comedy? The answers are almost always fascinating and highly entertaining insights into the mind of a comic. With her casual and friendly interview approach, she hopes to one day be known as “The James Lipton of Austin Comedy”. A girl can dream can’t she?

She was featured in the Austin Chronicle contributing her picks for Moontower Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in 2022.

She oversees all the goodness that Comedy Wham tries to bring to the comedy scene.
