Hi, I am Alexandra, mom of 2 incredible children and married to my best friend and partner in the faith.
For years, I tried to find happiness and a sense of purpose in all the wrong places.
I consumed endless self-help books, I would study more, analyze my past, find temporary relief in world distractions, try avoidance for temporary relief, attempt to change others in the hope of improving my relationships, only to find myself exhausted, living in my past, not enjoying the present and with no hope for a future. I had so many dreams but no direction to where my next step would be.
I finally realized that if I wanted to find lasting peace, I had to build my life on a solid unshakable foundation. I found Christ and the amazing peace that comes from being fully known and loved unconditionally.
With the help of mentors, I understood God’s will for my life and developed an unwavering relationship with Him. And I am thrilled to share it with you and give back as I was poured into.
Are you ready to finally find peace for your soul? Partner with the Everlasting God and discover your life's purpose, His amazing will for you, and how to walk in His steps. Experience fulfilling relationships and a sense of purpose that surpasses anything you can dream or imagine.
Open your Bible, put in those earbuds, and listen up! God is speaking to you. He is making everything new. Do you perceive it? Let's get started.

124. Identity before Roles: Learning to Trust God
vendredi 26 décembre 2025 • Duration 36:41
At the time this episode is airing, it’s December 26. Wherever this Christmas season found you—full of joy, quiet reflection, grief, complexity, or somewhere in between—I hope you were able to encounter God’s presence in a meaningful way.
Today’s episode is a little different.
I’m replaying the most listened-to episode of Curious for Christ of all time:
“Struggling to Trust God in Gender Roles,” a thoughtful and grace-filled conversation with author and evangelist Gordon Ferguson.
This conversation continues to resonate deeply because beneath questions about roles—whether in marriage, family, work, or ministry—there is something even more foundational:
identity.
Identity Before Roles
One of the clearest things God revealed to me this past year is this:
Before He builds anything through us, He builds something within us.Identity is the foundation of everything.
When our sense of worth is rooted in productivity, performance, approval, guilt, or even “doing the right thing,” exhaustion eventually follows. Even good and godly goals can wear us down if they’re built on the wrong foundation.
Scripture reminds us in Psalm 127:1:
“Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.”If God isn’t the one building, sustaining, and leading—no amount of effort will ever feel like enough.
A Year of Shedding and Surrender
This past year was a season of shedding for me—unlearning patterns, expectations, and beliefs that had quietly placed distance between me and God. While that process wasn’t easy, I’m deeply grateful for it.
God gently reminded me of something simple and freeing:
I am first His child.
Not a role.
Not a result.
Not a résumé.
Jesus is enough.
God is enough.
As a woman, I’ve spent many years wrestling with who I thought I needed to be, how I thought I needed to show up, and what I thought faithfulness required of me. What God has patiently shown me is this:
Before anything else, I am His daughter—and I am deeply loved.
And whatever He places on my heart, even if no one around me sees it or understands it, I can walk in peace knowing that He does.
Why This Conversation Still Matters
That’s why I wanted to replay this episode.
Because when identity is rooted in God, roles stop being a burden—and trust begins to grow.
This conversation with Gordon Ferguson explores Scripture with depth, humility, and compassion, inviting us to step away from fear-based striving and into trust rooted in who God says we are.
I invite you to listen again—or perhaps for the first time—with fresh ears and an open heart.
Thank you so much for listening.
My prayer is that this conversation reminds you that God is far more interested in your faith than simply in what you do. As we move toward a new year, may your identity be deeply rooted in Him—and may everything else flow from that place of peace, knowing you are deeply loved.

114. Is Your Body Tensing Up? 3 Steps to Find Peace with God in a Tense Relationship
vendredi 19 septembre 2025 • Duration 09:51
In this episode, host Alexandra explores the physical and spiritual reasons behind our body’s “fight, flight, or freeze” response. She talks about how physical tension—the tight shoulders, clenched jaw, or knot in your stomach—is a signal that our nervous system perceives a threat. However, as believers, we can use this moment of awareness as an invitation to lean into our faith. Alexandra offers three practical, faith-based steps to stay grounded and present with God, even in difficult conversations or moments of stress. This episode is a guide to moving from a place of fear to a place of trust, using our bodies as a tool for worship and connection with Christ.
The 3 Steps:
- Awareness: The first step to staying grounded is simply noticing your physical reaction without judgment. This is a form of “taking every thought captive” and bringing it to God, as described in 2 Corinthians 10:5: "We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ."
- Breath: Use your breath—a gift from God—to center yourself. Practice deep, intentional breathing as an act of stillness, connecting your body to the present moment and God's presence, as Psalm 46:10 reminds us to “Be still, and know that I am God.”
- God’s Truth: When your mind spirals with fear, consciously replace those thoughts with God's truth. Recall verses like 1 John 4:18, which says "There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear," and remind yourself that you are safe and loved in Him.
Call to Action:
This week, notice your body's tension without judgment but with curiosity. Use your breath as a tool for stillness, and lean on God's truth to anchor you in His love instead of your fear.
And remember, God's love is always near...

23. God's Unexpected Gifts: Why Discontent Can Be a Blessing
vendredi 26 avril 2024 • Duration 09:15
This episode is about exploring the theme of discontentment and longing for more in life, despite being surrounded by blessings. I delve into the idea that feelings of discontentment can be a catalyst for personal growth and reflection. I share a personal story of how God answered my prayers by granting me a real estate business in the luxury market, which brought unexpected stress and uncertainty but ultimately led to self-discovery and growth. I emphasize the importance of understanding one's core values and priorities, navigating challenges, and finding fulfillment amidst life's uncertainties through faith and self-reflection.
Here are the key takeaways from this episode with Bible verses:
1. Discontent Can Be a Catalyst for Growth (Romans 12:2):
The yearning for "more" might not be ingratitude, but a nudge from God to become a better version of yourself (Romans 12:2 says, "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.").
2. Sometimes We're Not Ready for "More" Yet (James 1:17):
Perhaps the things we crave require personal growth before we can truly handle them. As James 1:17 reminds us, "every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows." God's timing is perfect, and He may be preparing you for something even better.
3. Challenges Can Reveal Hidden Needs (Ecclesiastes 3:13, Ephesians 4:29):
Difficult experiences, like the unexpected stress of your luxury real estate career, can expose areas in our lives that need attention (Ecclesiastes 3:13 emphasizes, "to enjoy their work, this too is a gift from God."). They can also reveal hidden fears or a need for better communication in your marriage (Ephesians 4:29 advises, "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, so that it may benefit those who listen.").
4. Re-evaluation Leads to Fulfillment (Proverbs 3:5-6):
The discomfort of discontent can be a catalyst for self-discovery and ultimately guide you towards a more fulfilling path. Proverbs 3:5-6 offers guidance: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."
5. There's Hope, Even When Plans Change (Philippians 2:3-4):
Even if your initial desires don't pan out exactly as planned, the journey itself can lead to a deeper understanding of yourself and purpose. Philippians 2:3-4 provides encouragement: "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each to the interests of the others." God may have a different, but even better, path for you.

21. Unshakeable Worth: The Key to Building a Thriving Business and a Fulfilling Life
vendredi 12 avril 2024 • Duration 10:32
Feeling discouraged or stuck in your business (or even in life)? This episode explores the hidden battlefield within us all and how a shift in mindset towards unshakeable worth can unlock true success and fulfillment.
Key Takeaways:
- The internal struggle we face can be a reflection of the spiritual battle between good and evil (Ephesians 6:12). By strengthening our faith, we gain the tools to overcome these internal challenges.
- Your worth is not tied to accomplishments, money, or external validation. You are created in God's image and your value is immeasurable (Genesis 1:27).
- Shifting from a scarcity mindset to an abundance mindset allows you to operate from a place of joy and fulfillment, trusting in God's provision (Philippians 4:19).
- Building a business with unshakeable worth rooted in your faith allows you to focus on your gifts and serve others as an extension of God's love (Romans 12:6).
- This mindset shift extends beyond business, impacting all areas of your life for a more fulfilling experience, allowing you to live a life that glorifies God (Colossians 3:23).

20. You can use your gifts and surrender to God's will! This is how...
vendredi 5 avril 2024 • Duration 16:52
This episode explores how surrendering to God's plan, even at a podcast festival, can lead to unexpected creative breakthroughs and a deeper connection with your inner voice.
Here are the key takeaways:
1. Trusting God's Creative Flow:
- We can plan and schedule, but ultimately, God guides our paths. Surrendering to His plan allows Him to weave unexpected detours into opportunities for growth and creativity. (Proverbs 16:9: "The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps" (NIV))
2. Listening to Your Inner Voice:
- The Holy Spirit can speak to us through intuition and a sense of peace. Discerning that voice and following its gentle nudges can lead us down unexpected but divinely-orchestrated paths. (Romans 8:14: "For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God." (NIV))
3. Embracing the Unknown:
- Stepping outside our comfort zones and embracing the unfamiliar can be scary, but it's often where God leads us to experience new things and discover hidden potential. Faith allows us to trust that He will guide us even in the unknown. (Hebrews 11:1: "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." (NIV))
4. Self-Care is Essential:
- Just as Jesus prioritized time for prayer and solitude, prioritizing rest and self-care allows us to be more receptive to God's leading and creatively replenish ourselves. (Mark 1:35: "Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed." (NIV))
5. The Importance of Play and Exploration:
- God created us with the capacity for joy and exploration. Following a playful curiosity and allowing ourselves to explore new things can lead to unexpected creative breakthroughs. (Proverbs 17:22: "A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones." (NIV))
6. Rekindling Your Inner Child:
- The Bible encourages us to retain a childlike faith and wonder. Reconnecting with that playful, creative part of ourselves can open doors to new possibilities. (Matthew 18:3: "Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven." (NIV))
7. God Uses All Experiences for Our Good:
- Even the unexpected detours and challenges we face can be used by God to refine us and shape us into who He created us to be. (Romans 8:28: "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." (NIV))
8. Creativity is a Gift from God:
- Our creative talents and passions are gifts from God, meant to be used to glorify Him and bless others. Following your creative calling is a way of honoring God's gift within you. (1 Corinthians 12:7-11: "Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one is given the word of wisdom by the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another tongues, and to another the interpretation of tongues. All these are empowered by the one and same Spir

19. Embrace the Pain, Embrace Your Purpose: A Christian Creative's Guide for Faster Results
vendredi 29 mars 2024 • Duration 10:13
In this episode, I explore once more the concept of inner child but this time, in connection to achieving creative goals from a Christian perspective. I delve into the idea that ignoring or resisting challenges can actually delay your progress. By embracing the pain and discomfort associated with growth, you can learn valuable lessons and develop the inner strength necessary to handle your ideal situation.
The episode uses the powerful analogy of childbirth to illustrate this point. Just as a mother needs to surrender to the contractions to allow birth to happen, creatives need to "get out of the way" of their own resistance and trust the process.
Drawing on my own personal experience, the episode offers practical tips on how to:
- Listen to your inner child's clues
- Embrace challenges as opportunities for growth
- Cultivate a spirit of self-awareness and self-acceptance
- Align your creative work with your God-given purpose
This episode is a powerful message for Christian creatives who are ready to break through limitations and accelerate their creative journey.
Do you ever feel like you're praying for a [creative] dream God placed in your heart, but you end up feeling far from Him, your goals, and even yourself? I know I have! It can be incredibly frustrating. But even in that struggle, do you believe there's still a way to connect with God and move closer to your dreams?
