Shifting & Signing Off - Let's Seek Together!

Season 4 · Episode 54

jeudi 7 septembre 2023Duration 09:22

I'm thrilled to share with you a new chapter in my journey. After years of chasing external achievements, I've realized that real growth comes from within. Despite my accomplishments in the tech industry, authoring books, and researching women in the workplace, I found myself yearning for something more profound, more meaningful.

I hit a personal wall, and it led me to a path of self-discovery and seeking. This journey has been so transformative that I've penned down my experiences and key findings in a new book. One of the most significant revelations was the "I should" mindset. It's a trap that many of us fall into, but the real magic happens when we align our time and actions with our true goals.

And now, I'm excited to announce my new podcast and community, "Together We Seek." It's a space where we can continue this journey of self-discovery together, learning from each other's experiences and growing as a collective.

I'm incredibly grateful for your support and would love to personally chat with anyone interested in discussing this further. So, come join me, let's seek together.

You can find me at www.TogetherWeSeek.Online where I hope you join the live discussions and community!

She emphasizes the importance of setting boundaries and creating space for yourself to disconnect and recharge. Drawing from her own personal experience, JJ shares how she had to ask for permission and ended up working during her vacation. But she reminds us that we are worth taking time for ourselves and deserve to enjoy our vacation guilt-free.

And if you are looking for some adventure with other women, JJ shares the idea of an exciting bike tour with women in her network, where traveling together can create space for themselves to take time off.

Creating Your Own Yes with JJ DiGeronimo

Season 3 · Episode 40

jeudi 17 novembre 2022Duration 11:56

It is good to have perspective so when things do not unfold as planned you have some reserve energy!

Can you think of the last time you were told no or can you think of a project or initiative where every door was closed? It’s not easy, as many of us are told NO, so often, whether it's at home in our communities, or even at work.

No, seems to be such a popular thing, and it comes in so many ways, and oftentimes it can really deplete us and kick off our stories that say, I'm not ready. Who am I? What was I thinking? These self-reflecting questions can really slow us down or even cause us to create a detour or a workaround.

I am looking forward to sharing some of the strategies I used to create my own Yes!

Women & Leadership Is What Called Me to Write Book #3: Seeking

Season 3 · Episode 37

mercredi 19 octobre 2022Duration 11:45

When nudged by the Universe to write this book, my initial response was I’m not ready. That was followed with I still have more to learn. Yet after each women’s event where I was invited to present, I would share some of these insights and exercises, and the noticeable interest was reassuring, validating that women were ready to talk more about their self-doubts and fears. They were ready to be more vulnerable and more vocal about what they needed and what they desired. I saw this engagement as permission to share my journey, even if it expanded beyond career books, skill assessments, and emotional intelligence tests.

The conversations and experiences in these pages go beyond the professional and corporate strategies I have previously shared with my readers and communities. So, if you are familiar with my work, you may initially be surprised, yet I have found that I needed to go beyond the traditional methods of leadership for women to understand my internal barriers and gain new levels of insight.
