Anything Flows is a podcast hosted by Adrienne Noriega, a health and wellness coach who focuses on helping women heal their relationship with food and their bodies, balance their hormones through cycle syncing and elevating self-care and stress management to effectively improve their health and well-being.  This platform allows us to have conversations about health outside of just the science of nutrition and exercise to effectively improve our health and well-being.  My intention is to provide valuable and insightful guidance that you can take action on support your journey towards your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health goals.

In this episode, I'm excited to share with you Cycle Syncing 101, my Teachable course designed to teach women everything I share with my 1:1 coaching clients. It includes nutrition, exercise, recovery, self-care, productivity and flow with short videos, guides and recipes. This conversation is rooted in a real-life case study of the female nervous and endocrine system, using my own lived experience with burnout, anxiety and fatigue. Women's bodies have historically been underrepresented in research and our subjective experience is often dismissed by western medical professionals. Reproductive health isn't just a niche topic, it's one of the most significant indicators of vitality for women.

What happens happens when we shift from force to rhythm? From output to regulation? From linear productivity to cyclical wisdom?

In today’s episode, we put the WORK in BREATH WORK!  Mindfulness practices like meditation, yoga and breath work help to cultivate a focused and non-judgemental awareness of the present moment, noticing your thoughts, feelings and bodily sensations.  We tend to live in the present moment while also being stuck in the past or thinking about the future.  It’s natural for our mind to escape the present moment or wonder when we practice mindfulness.  The goal is not to shut off thinking, rather to strengthen our muscle of mindfulness and gently bring ourselves back to the present moment.  Try out these 5 practices and let me know what you think!

In Yuma, AZ there's a hidden gem in downtown called Studio Y.  This is where I took my first studio yoga class and where I met my friend, Alexis Price.  Alexis is a 500 hour certified yoga teacher working on her 1,000 hour certification in trauma informed yoga.  Teachers like her and Adriene Mishler (The OG Yoga with Adriene) are who have inspired me to get my 200 hour teacher training certification and begin teaching 

I'm excited to teach along side Alexis and all the other amazing instructors at Studio Y starting this month with my first hot yoga class on Tue Aug 15th.  Alexis and I sat down to share tips for starting your yoga program as a beginner, taking your first class, the benefits of yoga on and off the mat, the art of practicing yoga, sound healing, vibrations and MUCH MORE!

In this episode, I share the strong connection between our minds and the suffering we experience.  Oftentimes, it's ourselves and our own self-limiting beliefs that create and cause blockages, manifesting as dis-ease, both physical AND mental discomforts in our lives.

This episode reveals many specific methods and practices to clear self-limiting beliefs and clear energetic blockages to allow abundance to flow.  Harnessing the power of our body and breath, we can cultivate a deeper understanding of ourselves and our unlocked potential.  Repeating mantras, enhancing concentration, flow activities, meditation and journaling also provide a pathway to releasing emotional baggage and negative thought patterns. 

The most important thing to remember is to show yourself compassion and kindness to strengthen your muscle of mindfulness and gently release attachments.

Prepare to break free from the chains of suffering and embark on a transformative journey towards self-discovery with our latest episode of Anything Flows.  Join us as we discuss the teachings of Don Miguel Ruiz's groundbreaking book, "The Four Agreements."  These powerful principles have revolutionized our life by guiding us towards a state of true liberation.  

Throughout our lives, we form agreements and attachments based on our experiences, societal beliefs and other's projected opinions.  The source of all of our suffering is caused by the attachments that we hold to these agreements.  Learning how to let these go and replacing them with The Four Agreements is how we ultimately find liberation and freedom from suffering in the mind.   The four agreements are: 

  1. Be impeccable with your word
  2. Don't take anything personally
  3. Don't make assumptions
  4. Always do your best

In this episode, we also explore the parallels between these agreements and the ancient practice of yoga.  Discover how yoga serves as a gateway to help us understand universal truths and unraveling the stories and perceptions we attach to our experiences.  By embracing non-attachment, we learn to exist with what is as it arises, without reacting.  Yoga is about letting go of limiting beliefs and watching what goes on in the mind, body and with the breath and then course correcting so we can recognize our true potential.

Ep #9 | From Student to Teacher: Beginning My Yoga Instructor Journey

What began as a simple stretching exercise has evolved into a profound practice that allows me to quiet my mind, gain insight into my true self and live more authentically.  This has now led me to take the first steps towards becoming a Certified Yoga Teacher with a rigorous 200 hour training through My Vinyasa Practice!

In this episode, I explain the purpose and goal of yoga which is to unite us with the truth of who we are- something often obscured by our perceptions.  Yoga teaches us to non-judgementally question our perceptions and release attachments that are producing suffering. 

I also provide an insider's view of the program I've chosen, My Vinyasa Practice. I share essential details such as pricing,  a breakdown of the 200 hour curriculum and the many learning lab opportunities.  I highlight the assessments necessary for certification and explain why I selected this particular program. 

Gratitude fills my heart as I reflect on opportunities flowing into my life.  This new era marks a significant turning point, and I eagerly anticipate connecting and contributing more to the lives of those that resonate with my podcast, social media and everyday interactions.
