Posetude's Mission

At this incredible organization, we strive for more than just motivational speaking; we strive for true motivational doing. We have dedicated our time and resources to providing those in need with essential items such as food and clothing, showing that we genuinely care about their wellbeing. Furthermore, we financially support daycares in underprivileged areas with the knowledge that you can’t fund an enriching future for these kids if we ignore their immediate past. By striving for action rather than words we are going above and beyond to make sure all members of our community have a chance to succeed in life!

57: Thrive Big! with Elijah Adams

Saison 4 · Épisode 57

samedi 18 février 2023Durée 16:16

This week I had the honor of speaking at a Purposeful Living Momentum event! Purposeful Living INC is here to serve the modern woman: the woman who feels pressure to have it all together, but behind closed doors, she’s hurting, searching, or lonely. In-person events are always scary for me, but they are worth it in the end. There is nothing that can compare to connecting and encouraging women face-to-face. Get to know more about this organization below.

Speaking of "living on purpose", today's podcast is about a young man who is doing just that. He "Thrives Big" and just released his own book to encourage youth to do the same. You'll be blown away by what he has already done at such a young age, and it will absolutely encourage you to "be the change you want to see!" Grab his book below.

We are elated to announce our first service plus cash grant recipient! This generous financial support is a testament to our commitment and dedication to improving the lives of those in need. We are so proud of our newest grant recipient, who will be afforded a year of service and a cash donation as a result of receiving this special funding. The ability to help people through mentorship, educational programs, and access to beneficial resources is an invaluable gift. With this grant, we can continue to develop new initiatives that will bring hope and a brighter future for everyone involved.

Here's a little about Julene's mission and her website.

Founded on the love of God, our nonprofit organization is devoted to helping people in need around the world. We seek to alleviate suffering from life-threatening conditions and tragic experiences in Africa, as well as many other countries. By providing basic necessities and resources, we strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children, women, men and families who are struggling every day. We believe that love conquers all and that by working together we can truly touch the lives of those whom we seek to aid. Our nonprofit organization is dedicated to helping people who desperately need our support.

55: What's a Nonprofit VP of Development? with Julie Henson

Saison 4 · Épisode 55

vendredi 3 février 2023Durée 23:27

Are you wondering what positions are required to make your nonprofit Successful?

A nonprofit development director is an individual with strong interpersonal and organizational skills who is mainly responsible for raising funds for a nonprofit institution. The duties include supervising the fundraising process, communicating with donors, and establishing strong relationships with them.

On today's podcast, I interview Julie Henson the Vice President of Development at Coburn Place, a Transitional home for survivors of domestic violence. She tells us all about her position and why it's critical to the mission of the organization.

Coburn Place is over 25 years old and has housed and served thousands of domestic violence survivors and their children.

54: Best Strategy for Nonprofit Social Media Growth in 2023

Saison 4 · Épisode 54

samedi 21 janvier 2023Durée 45:02

Are you one of many nonprofits not taking advantage of the biggest tool available for spreading your mission?

Social media is one of the most powerful tools at a nonprofit’s disposal when it comes to building relationships and driving growth. In order to maximize social media's usefulness, the content should be authentic and engaging, not just a call for donations. Nonprofits should craft social media posts that demonstrate their mission, values, and showcase their social impact while also inviting potential supporters to engage with them directly. When leveraged effectively, social media can be an incredibly effective tool for nonprofits to expand their reach, engage more with supporters, and increase donations for their cause.

On today's podcast, I interview one of our Nonprofits Mar De Carlo of International Parenting & Health Institute Inc on her journey to nearly 200k followers and the tips she has learned along the way.

53: Free Master Class: Becoming Your Biggest Donor

Saison 4 · Épisode 53

vendredi 6 janvier 2023Durée 23:57

Season 4 of The Service Driven Life Podcasts starts today! We will also be airing on Fridays rather than Wednesdays this season. What's your word of the year? Ours is Awareness! You see, you cannot begin to change unless you are first aware of the thoughts, actions, and results that are happening in this very moment. Are you aware of where you spend your time, your money, and your energy? Do you know your BMI, Visceral Fat, your BMR? Do you know where most of your clients or donations come from, what marketing is working, and which grants have the highest percentage of new nonprofit approvals?

So far, we have saved over $300 per month by clearing subscriptions that we don't use. What could you invest in with an extra $300 every month? Many times, we are moving so fast that we lose awareness of exactly which direction we are headed!

I have a secret recipe that was downloaded to me years ago and 2023 is the year that we will share it with the world! Next week (January 11th at 1 pm EST) I am offering a Free Master Class where I walk you through my 7 Step Process to Clear Overwhelm in entrepreneurs called, The Shedding Method. This class is for you if you feel like you are running in circles and your vision is getting pushed to the back burner.

In today's Podcast, I share what inspired me to create The Shedding Method and how it has changed my life, my connections, and my bank account.
