Their podcast team, Next Level Podcast Solutions, has published over 2,000 podcasts, so best believe that Kevin knows what he is talking about.
There are many reasons why people start a podcast – to grow their business or brand, lead generation, to have a potential income source, or just for fun! These reasons to start may all be about you, but if you want to grow your podcast, focus on your audience. Today Kevin talks about the reason why your podcast is not and should not be about you. Remember: your listeners are giving you a significant amount of their attention for a significant period of time; if your show is not tailored for them or adds value to their lives, there’s no reason for them to keep listening.

Most of the time, we get a lot of disruptive thoughts when we’re about to start something – what if it fails? What if we don’t get it right? That's fear speaking, and it's normal, but that’s also what’s holding you back from doing what you want to do. So, take action. It doesn’t have to be perfect right away; what’s important is that you start.
