How to Align Success with True Purpose – The First Step to Feeling Fulfilled with Dr. Robin | Ep 218
Saison 5 · Épisode 218
mercredi 12 mars 2025 • Durée 14:45
This week’s “How She Finds Purpose” insight comes from my own journey -
“After I made the decision to start moving toward alignment with my authentic self, the world felt brighter, felt lighter. I felt energized because for the first time, I was moving towards something that reflected who I really was. And even though I didn't know exactly what the future looked like and had hope, and I felt excited about what was next, even though I didn't have it all figured out. That's what alignment feels like. It doesn't require certainty, and it brings peace.”
In this episode, I wrap up my special three-part series for high-achieving women leaders who are starting to realize that success alone isn’t enough. In part one, I shared the story of the moment I knew I wanted my work to make a difference. In part two, I talked about the hidden cost of staying out of alignment with your authentic self. And now, in part three, I’m answering the question: How do I even start aligning my success with my true purpose?
Here are 3 reasons why you should listen to this episode:
-
Learn why you don’t need a five-year plan to start moving toward your true purpose — you just need the next step.
-
Find out how reconnecting with your authentic self can shift your energy, bringing clarity and peace even when you don’t have everything figured out.
-
Discover how to begin making purpose-aligned decisions that reflect who you really are, so you can be both successful and fulfilled.

My Journey to True Purpose with Dr. Robin | Ep 209
Saison 5 · Épisode 209
mercredi 8 janvier 2025 • Durée 14:04
This week’s How She Finds Purpose insight comes from a belief I hold close:
“True purpose isn't about a specific job, a specific title, or career. It's not something you find out there. Purpose is about being true to your authentic self. It's about knowing who you are at your core and expressing that truth through the decisions you make, the work you do, and the life you live."
In this solo episode, I share a personal story about how witnessing my mother’s unfulfilled dreams shaped a lifelong promise to pursue work that aligns with purpose.
That restless search for meaning—so familiar to many high-achieving women—led to a liberating realization. Purpose isn’t tied to a job title or career path. Instead, it comes from staying true to who we are at our core.
Here are 3 reasons to tune in:
-
Discover why purpose isn’t something to “find” and what that shift in thinking could mean for your life and work.
-
Find out why so many high-achieving women feel unfulfilled, even with success, and how external expectations can get in the way.
-
Learn about the PurposeMAKER Method, a practical framework I developed to help women reconnect with their true selves and make decisions that align with what matters most.
If there’s been a nagging feeling that something is missing—or a quiet sense that you’re meant for more—this episode offers encouragement and clarity for taking the next small step toward living in alignment with your authentic self.
