Angus Smith, one of the owners of The Tipsy Toucan Public House sat down with me to talk about their first year! The building has been around for many years and have been various businesses through the years, but Angus is putting a great spin on the local pub/restaurant.

They are bringing back a comedy club downstairs, collaborating with Windsor Laughs. You can also shoot darts, play pool, watch sports, listen to live music or just chill and enjoy the vibes.

WindsorEats Food Hall is definitely a hidden gem in the Windsor, Essex County area.

They are known for amazing margaritas & local alcohol/brews, but you stay for the fabulous food trucks that are parked there and chill time with friends. You can also rent WindsorEats for events! And wow, they go all out for you.

I, myself go there weekly for a nice relaxing time with my husband and dog (yes they are pet friendly and encourage you to bring them). The outdoor patio is a great space to unwind. And when the winter comes? You can sit outside with nice warming tables or cozy up indoors with specialty hot chocolates and s’mores. This really is a great place for the whole family to enjoy.

This kitchy film is exactly what a horror film from the fifties/sixties genre is supposed to be all about. Find out a bit of what it takes to co-create a really funny, campy, black and white classic horror film that doesn’t take itself seriously but still makes you jump a few times.

Alex co-wrote, co-produced and had a cameo in the show. He gave us a bit of a look inside the making of the movie and how you have to help out wherever needed to make an independent film and make it well.
