The Real Reason You Fear Rejection (And How to End It)
Thursday, September 17, 2026 • Duration 24:33
Is the fear of rejection secretly running your life? In this episode, I’m pulling back the curtain on rejection and exposing it for what it really is: a childhood "boogeyman" that only holds power because of the story we attach to it. Whether you're holding back in your career, walking on eggshells in relationships, or constantly doubting your self-worth, I want to give you a powerful shift in perspective to help you take your power back.
I share my own personal stories of overcoming rejection, the exact mental models I use to separate hard facts from emotional fiction, and actionable steps to build real resilience. We’ll break down why a simple "no" feels like a direct attack on your identity, how old wounds amplify modern fears, and how practicing true detachment allows you to take big risks without the fear of falling. It’s time to stop letting a fictional boogeyman cost you years of growth, happiness, and connection.
What We Cover:
- Why rejection is just a story you tell yourself—not a final verdict on your worth
- How old wounds trigger deep rejection sensitivity in your adult life
- The hidden cost of self-rejection in love, career, and personal growth
- Practical ways to practice detachment and separate facts from feelings
- How to stop fearing the "no" so you can finally move forward with trust

In this episode of You Will Be OK, I’m joined by personal finance coach Whitney Hansen to break down the intersection of money, mindset, and relationships.
We dive into how childhood experiences shape your money story, the financial red flags to watch for when dating, and how to navigate saver vs. spender dynamics without ruining your relationship. In this episode, we cover:

- Crucial financial red flags to look for while dating
- How to evaluate a partner’s debt and financial habits logically
- Essential money conversations every couple needs to have
- Saver vs. spender dynamics, prenups, and joint vs. separate finances in marriage
- Why financial literacy and independence are non-negotiable for women
- Practical first steps toward building wealth and unlearning financial anxiety
Whether you are single, dating, married, working through debt, or ready to build real wealth, this conversation will transform the way you view money and relationships.

Grieving the Life You Thought You’d Have: How to Make Peace & Move Forward
Thursday, August 27, 2026 • Duration 35:36
If your life doesn’t look the way you thought it would by now, how do you make peace with where you are without giving up on the life you still want?
In this episode, I’m talking about grieving the life you thought you’d have, feeling behind in life, and learning how to move forward when your life hasn’t gone according to plan. Maybe you thought you’d be married by now, have children, be further along in your career, have more financial security, or simply feel happier and more settled than you do.
This kind of grief is real. And often, the pain isn’t only about your current circumstances—it’s about the collapse of the future you imagined for yourself.
I talk about how to grieve that imagined life without getting stuck in it, let go of the timeline you thought you were supposed to follow, and separate what you can control from what you can’t. I also share practical tools for self-compassion, acceptance, detachment, and changing the way you speak to yourself when you feel like you’ve fallen behind.
Most importantly, I explain why accepting where you are doesn’t mean giving up. You can make peace with your life as it is today while still wanting more for your future.
Your current circumstances are not a verdict on your worth or a prediction of where your life will end up. You can hold your vision like a compass, not a deadline.
If you’ve been thinking, This isn’t where I thought I’d be by now, this episode is for you.

Two Things Can Be True at Once
Thursday, August 6, 2026 • Duration 28:11
We want relationships to make sense: He either loved me or he didn’t. The chemistry was real or it was a lie. But the truth is rarely black and white.
In this episode, we’re diving into what it means to hold two truths at the same time—and why tolerating emotional complexity is the key to healing and moving on.
In this episode, we cover:
Why someone can genuinely like you and still not want a relationship.
High chemistry vs. real compatibility.
How a person can love you and still treat you poorly.
Why ghosting says more about their emotional capacity than your worth.
How to accept reality in its entirety so you can stop personalizing everything and make clearer decisions.
Sometimes the relationship mattered—and it still needed to end. Both can be true.

How to Emotionally Detach (Without Becoming Cold or Distant)
Thursday, July 16, 2026 • Duration 23:12
What if detachment has nothing to do with becoming cold, distant, or pretending you don't care?
In this episode, I break down one of the most misunderstood concepts in relationships and personal growth: healthy detachment. So many people think detachment means shutting down your emotions or acting like someone doesn't matter. In reality, true detachment is about letting go of control, releasing the need to force outcomes, and learning to stay grounded even when your emotions are intense.
I'll show you why detachment actually allows you to love more deeply — not less — and how it helps you become calmer, more confident, and more emotionally resilient in every area of your life.
Whether you're struggling to move on after a breakup, feeling anxious in a relationship, or simply want more peace of mind, this episode will give you practical tools you can start using today.
In this episode, you'll learn:
- Why detachment is not coldness, avoidance, or emotional suppression
- The difference between caring deeply and becoming emotionally dependent
- How to feel your emotions without acting impulsively
- What healthy detachment looks like during conflict
- How to stop identifying with every emotion you experience
- Practical exercises to build emotional regulation and inner peace
If you've ever wondered how to let go without giving up, this episode is for you.
