移民問題の取材のためメキシコのベラクルスを訪れた、ネットメディア『ライトハウスポスト』記者・蛇ノ目悟。移民支援施設で知り合った元ギャングの男・カルロスの壮絶な過去を知った蛇ノ目は、謎に包まれたメキシコの真実を報道すべく、移民たちと共に「野獣列車」に乗り込む。
アメリカを目指す危険な旅路の果てに、彼らを待ち受けている運命とは……。
