In today's Qigong podcast, host Torsten Lueddecke welcomes back Jeremy Colledge with exciting news — his long-awaited Zhineng Qigong documentary, Hidden in Plain Sight, is finally out.
What began as an ambitious vision six years ago, across filming trips to China, Mexico, and Europe, has become a two-hour film already reaching over 5,500 viewers — with 60–70% watching all the way to the very end.
Jeremy shares the stories behind the documentary, including the remarkable recovery of Marin, diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and given months to live, who is today travelling the world in full health eight years later. He explains why first-hand healing testimonials captured on camera are so much more powerful than second-hand accounts — and how seeing real people recover activates our mirror neurons and makes healing feel genuinely possible.
The conversation explores the deep connection between Zhineng Qigong and quantum science — how Hunyuan Qi Field theory and quantum field theory are describing the same reality in different languages, and how consciousness collapsing infinite possibility into physical form mirrors exactly what Dr. Pang Ming taught about mind and qi.
Torsten and Jeremy also discuss the psychology of illness and the true meaning of responsibility — not blame, but the ability to respond — and how reclaiming that power is often the first step toward healing. Jeremy also shares what's coming next: a new book connecting the five elements of Chinese medicine to Zhineng Qigong, and retreats planned in Mexico, Portugal, the UK, and Thailand.
🪨 Mindful Moments
The Zhineng Qigong documentary Hidden in Plain Sight brings first-hand healing stories directly from practitioners — not second-hand accounts, but real people sharing their journeys on camera
Marin was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and given months to live — eight years later she has fully recovered and is travelling the world, a testament to the power of Zhineng Qigong practice
Seeing real people who look just like us heal through Zhineng Qigong activates our mirror neurons — the Qigong equivalent of monkey see, monkey do, turning belief into reality
The Zhineng Qigong Hunyuan Qi Field theory and Western quantum field theory are describing the same phenomenon in different languages — a vast field of possibility collapsed into reality by consciousness
Commitment and belief are at the heart of every healing story in the Zhineng Qigong documentary — you don't need to understand how it works, you just need to stay with it
Subconscious patterns and unresolved life stories are often the true root of chronic illness — Zhineng Qigong gives us a tool to break those patterns physically, emotionally, and mentally
Responsibility doesn't mean blame — it means the ability to respond, and Zhineng Qigong returns that power to the practitioner
Dr. Pang Ming's three levels of substance — qi, space, and information — parallel exactly what quantum science describes as the fundamental building blocks of the universe
A vast undifferentiated field of qi fills the universe, and it is our consciousness that shapes it into reality — this is both Zhineng Qigong theory and quantum science
Jeremy's upcoming book connects the five elements of Chinese medicine to Zhineng Qigong, giving practitioners a diagnostic roadmap to understand and deepen their practice
Zhineng Qigong as a Science: The Philosophy Behind the Qi Field, Consciousness & Matter | Julien Étoré Bonet

To access "My Qigong" go to www.my-qigong.com
In today's Qigong podcast, host Torsten Lueddecke sits down with French philosopher and Zhineng Qigong practitioner Julien Étoré Bonet to explore one of the most important — and least understood — dimensions of Zhineng Qigong: its scientific framework.
Most practitioners know Zhineng Qigong as a practice rooted in Taoism and Buddhism. But Julien reveals that Dr. Pang Ming's own writings tell a very different story. For a science to be a science, it needs what philosophers call an epistemology — a rigorous reference framework with rules for how knowledge is obtained. And Dr. Pang Ming was explicit: the epistemological foundation of Zhineng Qigong is dialectical materialism, the scientific philosophy of Marx and Engels.
Julien explains how a group of French practitioners gained access to rare Hong Kong editions of Dr. Pang Ming's books — including full transcripts of every lecture he gave at the Huaxia Center. These four volumes, now translated into French, make clear that Dr. Pang Ming was building a materialist science designed to prove that consciousness is matter, using Qigong as the laboratory.
Torsten and Julien break down how the Qi Field is the material expression of Marx's concept of social relations, how the thre levels of substance (matter, energy, and information) are grounded in materialist philosophy, and how consciousness evolves historically through a spiral process — not as an eternal absolute. They also explore what this means for practitioners today: a scientific roadmap for developing Zhineng Qigong as a living, evolving science rather than a fixed doctrine.
Mindful Moments
Zhineng Qigong's true scientific framework is dialectical materialism — the philosophy of Marx and Engels, not Taoism or Buddhism as many practitioners assume
Dr. Pang Ming's original Huaxia Center lecture transcripts, now available in French, reveal the rigorous scientific framework underlying all of Zhineng Qigong theory
In Zhineng Qigong, the methods and movements are rooted in Chinese culture, but the scientific theory is built entirely on Western materialist philosophy
The Qi Field is the material expression of Marx's concept that human nature is the totality of social relations — a scientific claim, not a spiritual metaphor
Engels wrote that "consciousness is matter" — Dr. Pang Ming built Zhineng Qigong as a science to prove this through practice and experimentation
Consciousness in Zhineng Qigong is not eternal or pre-existing — it evolves historically through a spiral process, grounded in the science of dialectical materialism
Dr. Pang Ming was more critical of Taoism and Buddhism than of Western science — and his lectures make clear why Zhineng Qigong belongs in its own scientific category
Dialectical materialism teaches us to avoid speaking in absolutes without context — and this principle is at the heart of Zhineng Qigong's scientific approach to suffering
Understanding the scientific framework Dr. Pang Ming built gives Qigong practitioners a clear roadmap for developing the practice beyond what he originally taught
Our Zhineng Qigong practice becomes more scientifically grounded when we engage with the real material world and the social reference frameworks within it
How Qigong Became Part of Yvette’s Cancer Healing Journey

In today's Qigong podcast, Torsten Lueddecke sits down with Yvette Martin — a single mother of three from Sydney, Australia, who was given weeks to live after a third recurrence of brain cancer, said no to debilitating surgery, and went on to make a recovery that left her oncologist speechless. Yvette's story is one of the most extraordinary healing journeys to ever be shared on this podcast, and it is a testament to the transformative power of Zhineng Qigong and the unshakeable human will to live.
First diagnosed with breast cancer in 2020, Yvette navigated chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation while simultaneously deepening her understanding of holistic health. When the cancer returned in her brain — unusually as a single, operable lesion — Qigong had already begun protecting her body in ways that even her oncologist couldn't fully explain. It was only with the third recurrence, when surgeons told her the operation would likely leave her in a wheelchair, that Yvette made the bold decision to refuse surgery and pursue a full integrative healing approach.
What followed was a radical commitment to recovery: high-dose supplements, integrative oncology, infrared saunas, acupuncture, colonics, energy healing — and at the centre of it all, hours of daily Zhineng Qigong practice. With almost no voice, severe swallowing difficulties, a winged shoulder blade, and weighing just 41 kilos, Yvette attended a 10-day Qigong retreat on the Gold Coast — and by the end, her voice had returned as a whisper. She then travelled to China for a month-long healing residency, immersed herself in the group Qi field, and came home without her microphone. Today, she has full range of motion in her arm, eats whatever she wants, has her energy back, and has completed her Zhineng Qigong teacher certification.
One of the most powerful insights Yvette shares is the shift from practising Qigong out of obligation to practising out of pure love — the moment the practice stops being medicine you take and becomes the thing you cannot wait to do. This, she explains, is when the real healing truly begins.
🎙️ Yvette now teaches Zhineng Qigong online and runs a weekly support group for people navigating chronic or serious health challenges — a space held not from pity, but from the deep knowing that every person is a powerful, capable being having a difficult human experience.
🪨 Mindful Moments from This Episode:
Zhineng Qigong may have protected Yvette's body during cancer, concentrating scattered cells into a single operable tumour — a pattern her oncologist had never seen before
Qigong practice shifts from something you do to heal, to something you love — and that shift is when the deepest healing begins
The group Qi field in Zhineng Qigong is not local — practicing online while connecting to the global community of practitioners amplifies the healing effect profoundly
Trusting the body during extreme weight loss is a radical act; Qigong teaches us that the body knows what it needs, even when it looks frightening from the outside
Commitment to healing sends a message to the unconscious — Qigong combined with total dedication recreates the environment of the legendary Medicineless Hospital
Protecting yourself from other people's fear is a form of Qigong self-care — the information others project into your Qi field matters
Qigong practice becomes most powerful when you stop digging multiple shallow holes and go deep into one practice — like digging for water, depth is what finds the source
A Zhineng Qigong support community built around strength rather than victimhood creates a completely different healing field for those facing serious illness
The oncologist who once said neurological damage is permanent was left asking Yvette what she was doing — Qigong healing can exceed the boundaries of medical expectation
Standing shoulder to shoulder in community — not as caretakers, but as equals — is itself a Qigong principle: we rise in the Qi field together
From Doubt to Dedication: The 7-Step Qigong Journey with Leilah Cupido and Heather Bourne

To access "My Qigong" go to www.my-qigong.com
In today's Qigong podcast, Torsten Lueddecke sits down with Leilah Cupido and Heather Bourne — two Qigong therapists who have partnered to create one of the most transformative Qigong workshops available today. Together they explore the most common reason people abandon their Qigong practice: doubt. Through their 7-step framework called “From Doubt to Dedication,” they reveal how intention, discipline, detachment, and joy can turn a wavering practice into a life-changing commitment.
Drawing on the principles of Zhineng Qigong and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Leilah and Heather break down why doubt is not the enemy — it is actually a signal pointing you toward courage, creativity, and deeper commitment. They unpack the concept of “e-motion” — how every emotion carries energy that is meant to move you forward rather than hold you back.
The conversation dives deep into one of the most overlooked obstacles to healing: attachment to illness. As Heather reveals, around 30% of people who don’t experience progress may be unknowingly attached to their condition — not out of choice, but because it has become part of their identity. Through gentle Qigong practice and conscious detachment, this can shift without the need to relive trauma.
Leilah and Heather also shae how their workshop uses Lachi and Shanghai Qigong to embody each of the seven steps — from setting a clear intention to developing a joyful, sustainable daily habit. Whether your goal is physical healing, personal growth, or overcoming procrastination, this episode offers a powerful roadmap to show up fully for yourself and your life.
👳️ Next live workshop: August 15th — Switzerland 💛 Online workshop coming in Autumn
🪨 Mindful Moments from This Episode:
Qigong begins with a decision — setting a clear intention that acts as your northern light throughout the journey
Discipline in Qigong is not about force — it is about relaxation and flexibility working hand in hand
Doubt is natural after setting an intention; Qigong teaches you to observe it rather than be consumed by it
Emotions are “e-motions” — energy in motion that Qigong helps you channel into courageous and creative action
Fear in Qigong practice is not a stop sign — it is an invitation to take courageous action toward your intention
Detachment in Qigong does not mean isolation — it means releasing your grip on the story that is keeping you stuck
Up to 30% of those not healing may be unknowingly attached to their illness — Qigong gently helps dissolve this
Joy is the highest form of Qigong — developing a joyful heart is its own daily practice and act of cultivation
Dedication in Qigong is an act of self-love that ripples outward — your healing contributes to the healing of all
Qigong’s Qi field means we are all connected — your evolution mirrors and uplifts the evolution of those around you
Uniting the Qigong Community in Europe | How Qigong Helped Yvonne Hoeboer Lose Weight
03 Jun 2026
00:28:19
In today's Qigong podcast, Yvonne Hoeboer, a Zhineng Qigong teacher and community builder from the Netherlands, shares her extraordinary journey — losing 20 kilograms through consistent Qigong practice and discovering how Qi itself can become the body's deepest source of nourishment.
Yvonne's Qigong journey began in 2012, drawn in almost by instinct — describing her very first class as "homecoming." What started as a personal practice grew into a calling. After traveling to China for her teacher training in 2017, she began her 100-day gong practice. Through consistent Qigong — especially wall squats — something remarkable happened: over two years she lost 20 kilograms naturally, without dieting. The evening cravings she had battled for years simply disappeared.
Torsten and Yvonne explore the fascinating connection between Qi cultivation and appetite. When you practice Qigong deeply, the Qi nourishes you at an energetic level — and the body stops reaching for food to fill what it was really craving. She also shares how the mindset teaching of Ming — self-observation without judgment — creates a powerful inner "switch" that can be applied far beyond weight loss, to any habit, pattern, or addiction in life.
Yvonne also reveals her exciting new project: a Zhineng Qigong community gathering happening August 28-30 in Limburg, the Netherlands — open to practitioners, teachers, and beginners from across Europe. A beautiful event built on the belief that Western teachers are now the carriers of this ancient wisdom, empowered to spread it in their own unique way.
Join Yvonne as she explores: Can Qigong be the key to lasting transformation — in your body, your mind, and your life?
Mindful Moments:
Qigong practice can naturally eliminate food cravings by cultivating Qi as deep energetic nourishment.
Can Qigong Change Your Genes? Epigenetics & Consciousness with Naomi Hales
20 May 2026
00:32:00
In today's Qigong podcast, Naomi Hales, a passionate Zhineng Qigong practitioner and educator, shares her remarkable exploration into the science of how Qigong can influence our very DNA — unlocking healing through the power of consciousness, intention, and our deep connection to nature.
At the heart of this conversation is epigenetics — the study of how our thoughts, environment, and practices can change gene expression without altering our underlying DNA. Naomi explains how Zhineng Qigong works as a powerful epigenetic tool, activating the body's self-healing intelligence through focused awareness and the cultivation of Qi. Drawing on Dr. Herbert Benson's groundbreaking research at Harvard on the relaxation response, she reveals the measurable physiological shifts that regular Qigong practice can create.
Naomi explores the profound relationship between Qigong and nature, explaining how immersing ourselves in natural environments amplifies our connection to universal Qi and supports deep nervous system regulation. She also discusses neuroplasticity — how consistent Qigong practice literally rewires the brain, shifting us from chronic stress and anxiety into expanded states of peace, clarity, and wellbeing.
Qigong and epigenetics together offer a powerful framework for understanding how we can take conscious control of our health. Naomi shares how daily Qigong practice builds a biological foundation for healing, and how the Zhineng Qigong community creates a shared Qi field that supports every practitioner's journey.

Effortless Healing & Qigong: Dr. Cynthia Li's 7 Steps to Flow
06 May 2026
01:04:05
In today's Qigong podcast, we explore one of the most powerful questions in healing: what if trying harder is actually getting in the way? Dr. Cynthia Li, medical doctor, Qigong teacher, and author of The Medicine of Flow - joins host Torsten Lueddecke for the second time to share her revolutionary approach to effortless healing through Zhineng Qigong.
Effortless healing, rooted in the Daoist principle of Wu Wei, isn't about giving up or being passive. Qigong teaches us that true healing happens when we stop fighting our bodies and learn to move into a state of flow - a peak healing state where all inner systems sync up and work as one. In this Qigong episode, Dr. Cynthia Li walks us through her seven simple steps from the book: Pause into Stillness, Soften Your Intentions, Empty the Mind, Open the Heart, Inhabit the Body, and Tap into the Collective. Each step is a portal — not a rigid sequence — designed to help you release resistance and let healing happen naturally.
Qigong flow state isn't the same as relaxation. It's an activated calm — the state where intuition sharpens, the heart and brain sync into coherence, and the body can finally receive healing at its deepest level. Whether you're dealing with chronic illness, emotional blocks, or simply feeling stuck, this conversation will shift how you think about the healing journey.
Dr. Cynthia Li also brings modern neuroscience into the picture — from the heart's electromagnetic field being 100x larger than the brain's, to how collective coherence in Qigong practice creates a healing field that goes far beyond the individual. This is Qigong for the modern world.
Mindful Moments:
Qigong healing happens effortlessly when we stop resisting and surrender to flow
Pausing into stillness in Qigong is the foundational step — without it, nothing else begins
Softening your intentions in Qigong creates space for the body's natural wisdom to emerge
Emptying the mind in Qigong means partnering with your thinking mind, not fighting it
Qigong opens the heart field — which is 100x larger than the brain's electromagnetic field
Inhabiting the body through Qigong grounds expanded energy and prevents bypassing
Collective Qigong coherence means your individual healing contributes to the healing of the whole
Qigong flow state is an activated calm — not relaxation, but peak healing potential
The Golden Triad of Qigong: mind empty, heart open, body inhabited
Practicing Qigong daily rewrites the body's subconscious programs from resistance to flow

Can Ancient Qigong Wisdom align with Modern Science? - Kristen Pols
19 Nov 2025
00:31:47
In today’s Qigong podcast, Kristen Pols, the author of the new ebook, Qi Science and Modern Medicine, shares her incredible work finding parallels between zhineng qigong and modern medicine.
The foundation of the discussion is Qi study, defined as the study of life energy - the vital force that animates all living things. This ancient philosophy describes how energy, matter, and information interact to sustain and balance the body. Practices such as Qigong and Hunyuan Qi Therapy are tools designed to cultivate and direct this energy for health, vitality, and self-healing.
Kristen highlights that these ancient concepts find confirmation in modern science. We discuss how neuroplasticity allows our brains to rewire themselves through mental practices, and how epigenetics demonstrates the ability to influence gene expression without altering DNA. A core concept in zhineng qigong is the Yi Yuan Ti—using consciousness and focused intention to direct the Hunyuan Qi. As the principle states, "Conscious Intention Guides Qi" (Ying leads Qi). This conscious practice, utilizing meditation, visualization, and journaling, serves as a mechanism to activate the body's self-healing processes.
Qi Science and Modern Medicine aims to help people who may be skeptical find confirmation of these powerful ideas in Western science, building the necessary trust for the intention to work properly and supporting self-advocacy in health. While limitations exist due to a lack of research funding in the West, there is no scientific evidence that contradicts Qi science; rather, these practices are projected to reshape the way we look at medicine and healthcare in the future
Join Kristen as she explores: Can ancient Qigong wisdom align with modern science?
Mindful Moments:
Qigong and Hunyuan Qi Therapy cultivate and regulate Qi for health and self-healing.
Zhineng Qigong aligns with modern research in neuroplasticity, epigenetics, and quantum biology.
Qigong uses Yi Yuan Ti (consciousness) and intention to guide Hunyuan Qi.
In today’s Qigong podcast, guest Meghna Patel, a Hunyuan Qi therapist based in Germany, shared numerous success stories of natural healing involving Zhineng Qigong, often succeeding where Western medicine suggested recovery was "not possible". She detailed the profound recovery of a friend following a dangerous hemorrhagic stroke, which damaged the motor and speech centers.
Immediately after the stroke, Meghna utilized the Qi field and Qigong therapy to strengthen and rebuild his energy, focusing on putting good information into the field. Key to the stroke recovery was nurturing his fragmented consciousness and life force energy, alongside maintaining a rigorous positive mindset aimed at a completely healthy body. Remarkable results included the healing of all cerebral arteries and significant recovery from kidney damage (from 40% to 62%). Furthermore, the friend learned to sink his blood pressure 30 points using only his mind and breath, and a physiotherapist noted the successful removal of his right-side spasticity, a feat she described as "not medically possible" based on conventional medical frameworks.
The conversation emphasized that blocked life force energy (Qi) is often the root cause of disease, frequently tied to unresolved emotions. Meghna shares how her Qigong practice has helped patients heal — one man’s eye cyst ,linked to liver and anger, reduced after forgiveness work, while a woman’s spinal arthritis, IBS, and anxiety disappeared after a single session focused on strengthening her center.
Meghna proved that addressing the blockage in Qi flow was more critical than focusing solely on Western Medicine solutions. This healing process relies on connecting to the True self, the unpolluted part of us that connects purely to the Qi field.
Mindful Moments:
Qigong and Hunyuan Qi therapy enable natural healing, even when Western medicine deems it impossible.
Daily Qigong calms anxiety and strengthens energy after trauma like a stroke.
Zhineng Qigong develops consciousness, gathers Qi, and enhances mindfulness.
Qigong guides Qi flow so the body functions in harmony for healing.
A stroke patient’s kidney function improved from 40% to 62% through Qigong.
Qigong helped remove post-stroke spasticity once thought irreversible.
Using “where the mind goes, Qi flows,” patients lower blood pressure by focusing on feet and breath.
The Qigong Crane’s Neck exercise relieved spinal arthritis, IBS, and anxiety by unblocking Qi.
Qigong fosters curiosity—ask the Qi field, “How can I deepen my practice?”
Qigong requires deep mindfulness to sense Qi movement and openness for the Qi field to reveal itself.

In today’s Qigong podcast, Hélène Boucher shares her story about her transformative experience at the Huaxia Zhineng Qigong Center, often referred to as the Medicine-less Hospital. Without any prior knowledge of Qigong.
Unlike a traditional hospital, the Huaxia Zhineng Qigong Center founded by Dr. Pang Ming, operated on the belief that the body could heal itself through mind-body connection, Qi field activation, and dedicated Qigong practice. Thousands of individuals grouped by illness - whether cancer, Parkinson’s, or chronic pain, were not treated as patients, but as students of their own healing journey.
Hélène described witnessing remarkable moments where Qi, combined with intention and inner awareness, led to visible and often immediate healing outcomes. In today’s Qigong podcast, Yang Tsoe Tsan explains Zhineng Qigong offers a powerful and holistic approach to healing that goes far beyond the physical aspects of Cancer recovery Qigong. Cancer recovery involves rebuilding emotional resilience, restoring trust in the body, and shifting deeply rooted mental patterns. Mind-body healing lies at the heart of her work. Emotional healing becomes possible as patients learn to release fear, transform their old frame of reference, and regain a sense of empowerment through conscious movement and intention.
One of the key concepts Tsoe emphasizes is the idea of the “old frame of reference” the unconscious emotional patterns and reactions that many cancer patients fall back on after treatment. By implementing Daily practice of Zhineng Qigong exercises, individuals are guided to face these ingrained habits in real time, learning to respond with new awareness, presence, and emotional strength. This shift in mindset is central not only to emotional healing, but also to preventing relapse by creating a state of internal harmony, stress reduction, and energetic balance. By implementing Safe Qigong exercises for recovery, Tsoe helps her students experience firsthand how intention, posture, and conscious movement can encourage a powerful transformation, supporting both their immune systems and their return to everyday life with renewed trust in themselves.

In today’s Qigong podcast, Cynthia Li explores the depth of Zhineng Qigong and how the Mingjue state can be fully integrated into daily life. Moving beyond the structure of traditional Qigong practice, she emphasizes that true healing begins when consciousness becomes self-aware—when we observe not just our thoughts and Qi, but the awareness itself. Through consistent observation, Cynthia encourages practitioners to merge with the information field, allowing the subtle intelligence of the Qi field to guide transformation from within. This practice isn’t just about moments on the mat; it’s about sustaining the Mingjue state during life’s everyday challenges.
By grounding Qigong in daily routines, whether through Lower Dantian breathing, La Qi, or simply being present while washing dishes, Cynthia demonstrates how we can bring heart intelligence and self-awareness into everything we do. Her approach to Mingjue daily life is both practical and profound, using comfortably challenging scenarios and incremental exposure to strengthen awareness in real-world situations. She highlights how emotional flow, letting go of resistance, and releasing attachment are not just side effects of practice, they are the signs of true Qigong integration. Through this lens, Qigong becomes not an escape, but a playful, empowering, and joyful way to live.

In today’s Qigong podcast, Luise Kohl Hayek challenges listeners to rethink their relationship with Zhineng Qigong, particularly how daily Qigong practice can be integrated into a holistic Qigong lifestyle. While many practitioners experience calm during Zhineng Qigong exercises, Luise highlights that the authentic Qigong state should extend far beyond formal sessions and into everyday life. She explores the misunderstanding of affirmations like “Hao La”, often used superficially, and introduces vision writing Qigong as a tool for deeper emotional healing, self-awareness, and conscious living. This technique encourages practitioners to engage their senses, embody good information, and develop a clear sense of purposeful Qigong.
A core theme is the continuous application of good information Qigong—not just during structured sessions, but through every thought, word, and interaction. True emotional healing Qigong and personal growth occur when we release self-judgment, practice self-love Qigong, and remain open to inner transformation. Rather than giving away personal power to Qigong masters or falling into the trap of spiritual bypass, Luise advocates for taking full self-responsibility and living a life guided by joy, awareness, and intention. The Qigong state not as a temporary state, but is a holistic lifestyle.

In today’s Qigong podcast, Maria Isabel Bühler Granados’ exploration of fertility didn’t begin with a medical diagnosis, but with a deeper longing to “create space for life” in every dimension. As a dedicated TCM practitioner and mother, she first turned to herbs, acupuncture, and dietary adjustments—but it was her curiosity about energy medicine that led her to Zhineng Qigong and Hunyuan Qi Therapy. Through these practices, she reframed fertility as far more than biology and discovered how profoundly energy work can influence conception and wellbeing.
In her clinical practice, Maria guides patients through daily Level 1 Qigong movements - La Qi techniques, pelvic rotations, and Qi squats - woven together with personalized herbal formulas and occasional acupuncture. This holistic protocol nurtures both the body’s reproductive system and the mind’s emotional state. By cultivating clear intention and embracing complete surrender, her patients learn to release stress, trust their innate rhythms, and invite the natural flow of Qi.
“Energy work transforms not just our bodies, but our minds, relationships, and life purpose,” Maria says. She encourages patients to let go of rigid expectations and to co-create with life’s cycles, whether that means conceiving a child, launching a new project, or simply living more mindfully.

Gabriela Perezcano’s journey into Zhineng Qigong didn’t be start with a desire for healing, but with a deep curiosity about consciousness. As a structured, logic-driven professional and mother of three, her path originally led her to pursue a master’s degree in consciousness studies. But it was through daily Qigong practice, not academic theory, that she encountered a profound true consciousness.

Beginning with simple Level 1 Qigong movements and daily La Qi, she felt Qi flow course through her body, opening the door to genuine mind-body connection and inner transformation.
Gabriela’s story reflects how practical spirituality can transform not just the individual, but also their relationships, parenting, and perspective on life itself. By letting go of rigid mental patterns and embracing intention and presence, she discovered how to show up authentically in both personal and professional spaces. Her experience illustrates that healing through Qigong is not just about body or energy, but it’s about reconnecting with who you truly are, and learning to live with consciousness every day.

Zhineng Qigong offers much more than physical movement—it is a profound path to healing, self-awareness, and consciousness expansion. While many begin practicing Qigong to relieve body illnesses or emotional imbalance, Qigong meditation opens the door to a deeper inner transformation. In today’s Qigong podcast, Mariana de la Vega, founder of the Consciousness Lab, explores the question: Why do we practice Qigong? And how can we move beyond the illusion of separation to experience true oneness?
The initial motivation for practicing Qigong often starts with healing the body—but evolves into a journey of understanding the mind, releasing suffering, and reconnecting with life as pure experience. Mariana shares how, through consistent Qigong practice, we begin to dissolve the boundaries between the experiencer and the experience, realizing they are not two—but one.
Emotional healing is a central theme within Mariana’s Consciousness Lab. Drawing on methods rooted in Hunyuan Entirety Theory, she emphasizes that Qigong meditation is not only a practice for well-being, but a gateway to awakening the true self and accessing the universe within.
Applying Qigong in daily life is where true transformation begins. Zhineng Qigong offers a practical path to awakening and living as unified consciousness.
Having the mental strength while healing is so important, but can be a difficult task. In today's Qigong podcast, Zhineng Qigong practitioner Lot Wijlhuizen explains how to cultivate a strong and positive mindset on a journey to complete wellness.
Lot expands on Mingtong Gu's self-healing approach in Zhineng Qigong, emphasizing the need to shift to a higher energy state. This requires changing one's frame of reference and thoughts through consistent Qigong practice. Many people become defined by their diagnosis, creating attachment to symptoms that keeps them stuck. Moving to a higher consciousness through dedicated practice is key to breaking this pattern.
Acceptance is number two. Lot says you have to accept the place you're in and develop trust. Again, in the Zhineng Qigong Practice, acceptance doesn't mean you now become your diagnosis, but rather accepting the situation for what it is, not resisting it. Because in Qigong when we are whole or one with a situation, when there's no resistance there's peace and stillness, and often trust develops. Self acceptance is also an important aspect for this step - this garners self love, trust and an overall kindness towards yourself.
In Zhineng Qigong, intention is crucial. While many focus only on eliminating symptoms, Lot emphasizes creating a clear vision of the ultimate end goal. Through Qigong, practitioners should embody their healed state, acting as if already well—a powerful expression of trust in the healing journey.
Choosing joy and gratitude is next. In Zhineng Qigong when you worry you follow the fear, but when you choose gratitude and joy you fill and strengthen the Qi field with love. You must make a conscious choice to choose gratitude, even in difficult times on your healing journey, seeking community through Zhineng Qigong is always a good thing as you have the right support. And the Qi field always has strength in numbers.

Grief is an inevitable part of life, the loss and trauma isn't something that is easily overcome. We often think that death happens to an individual, when in reality, it happens to those who are left behind. In today's Qigong podcast, Richard Clegg discusses how he copes with grief and integrates the Zhineng Qigong practice to navigate his healing journey after losing his wife and grandson.
In grief, Richard emphasizes maintaining a sense of true self and wholeness. Qigong teaches that oneness is essential, as separation leads to suffering. Emotional healing after loss requires removing judgment and ego. Qigong encourages returning to objectivity—allowing emotions to naturally flow while being kind to ourselves through the stages of grief.
Grief brings overwhelming emotions that need processing. In Qigong, unresolved emotions create "heart-stones" - blockages that may lead to disease. During grief, self-care and self-love are vital. Allow yourself time and space to experience emotions rather than resist them. This increases self-awareness and reinforces identity, which helps counter the isolation that often accompanies grief.
Zhineng Qigong can help with trauma and grief. Richard specifically uses the La Qi and Chen Qi methods for grief. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, grief is associated with the lungs. Chen Qi clears blockages and opens energy pathways, allowing smooth Qi flow throughout the body. This benefits the lungs while strengthening the mind. Richard also used the 8 verses meditation to calm his nervous system.
Grief might be a frame of reference as Richard explains, though Qigong for grief allows both ourselves and others the freedom to experience loss without judgment or rushing.
Mindful moments:
Qigong provides a framework for processing grief by maintaining a sense of true self and wholeness during difficult times
The concept of oneness in qigong helps address the suffering that comes from separation during loss
Qigong encourages objectivity in grief, allowing natural emotional flow without judgment or ego
Self-care principles and qigong emphasizes giving yourself time and space to experience emotions rather than resisting them
Zhineng Qigong specifically offers methods like La Qi and Chen Qi that can be applied to grief processing
Qigong for grief creates a space where people can experience loss without judgment or rushing the natural grieving process

The Zhineng Qigong practice is more than just movement, it goes beyond the physical aspect and has the intention of mindful creation. In today's Qigong podcast, Oliver Rijcken discusses how visualisation plays a critical role in manifesting our inner desires.
Manifestation is a natural consequence of our intentions being aligned with the Qi Field. In Qigong the Qi field is the foundation whereby information is fed. This information could be about health and wellbeing or about dreams and goals. It's important when practicing Qigong is to use visualization techniques. This will set an intention and an outcome of your inner hopes.
Once you reach a particular goal, it's important to acknowledge and celebrate your achievements. However big or small, Olivier says they are all significant. Adopting a mindset of gratitude in Qigong is also very important. Being grateful for the achievement and for help you might've received along the way. It's not a moment to inflate ego, as ego is quite the opposite mindset in Qigong, but more to have a positive feedback loop between intention and outcome - similarly to that of the "opening" and "closing" metaphor in the La Qi method. Thankfulness extends to Qigong practitioners, Qigong and fellow Qigong students (sometimes even our true selves) acknowledging the collective vital life force energy that fuels progress within Qigong or in many cases the Qi field.
Along with celebrating the wins in Qigong, stillness is also important. It's a moment to reflect on what has been achieved and what new creative ideas can emerge. It's also a moment to rest as it seems like life today is always about the chase and "the next big thing". In Qigong it's a reminder that personal development is a marathon not a sprint, it fosters a balance between thing that have been achieved and things to come - oneness: a key aspect of Zhineng Qigong.
Mindful moments:
Qigong combines physical movement with mindful visualization for transformation
The Qi Field acts as a conduit for channeling health and wellness intentions
Zhineng Qigong uses visualization to connect intentions with outcomes

Personal development in qigong is viewed as a gradual, balanced journey
Zhineng Qigong emphasizes oneness and interconnected achievement
Qigong develops understanding of Qi energy for personal growth
David and Helena Petrović were students of the Zhineng Qigong practice for a long time, but nearly gave it all up - until miracles happened! In today's Qigong podcast, discover how your miracle might be closer than you think...
Despite practicing Qigong to heal his asthma, David's lung condition worsened under a rigid teaching structure. He and Helena considered quitting until they received a timely email from Master Liu and Andraz Purger, prominent Zhineng Qigong practitioners.
At this workshop, David experienced Qigong in a more relaxed atmosphere and saw his respiratory issues improve significantly. This renewed his dedication to Zhineng Qigong. Though initially skeptical, Helena also embraced the practice after witnessing its positive effects on both David and herself. The workshop was adapted to meet students' individual needs.
David's success led him to become a Qigong practitioner, working with schizophrenia patients in hospitals. Despite some skepticism from Western medicine, both approaches share the goal of improving people's lives.
Taking a page from Master Liu and Andraz' book - by being mindful of the patients with schizophrenia and their capabilities, David used the simple but effective Zhineng Qigong exercises. These Qigong movements includes: Qi squats and the La Qi method. With consistent Qigong practice, there has been a reduction of negative symptoms in those who suffer from schizophrenia.
Patients showed reduced depression, better communication, and improved coordination. This demonstrates how Qigong can complement conventional medicine in treating mental illnesses like schizophrenia. They also offer modified Qigong sessions for seniors, helping improve their mobility and wellbeing.
Helena's mother, who suffered from Covid, pneumonia, and strokes, experienced remarkable recovery through Qigong. When Helena and David built a Qi field and channeled healing energy to her, she recovered beyond expectations. After a brief hospital stay, she was able to walk with a cane—an extraordinary improvement given her previous condition.
Miracles might be right around the corner!

As Zhineng Qigong students we are faced with the question: how to integrate Qigong into our daily lives? In today's Qigong podcast learn how Martha Work transformed her life and reaped the benefits of incorporating Qigong for daily life as she overcame mental health challenges and generational trauma.
Martha discusses how she was able to leave behind depression and transformed her life with Qigong practice. She had the intention (a foundational aspect of the Zhineng Qigong practice) of improving her mental health, as she didn't want to stay in such a dark, almost isolated place like depression. When practicing Qigong she noticed her negative thoughts transforming into positive thoughts. Showing that Qigong for mental health offers a holistic approach to overcoming depression, allowing individuals to reconnect with their inner and true self, as Qigong became part of her morning routine.
Qigong facilitated healing from toxic parenting. By releasing "heart stones" daily, Martha addressed deep-seated emotional trauma, particularly with her father, enabling inner child healing. This practice provided the balance and resilience needed when she became her mother's caregiver. Enhanced awareness and objectivity, cultivated through consistent Qigong practice, helped her navigate the challenges of caregiving with greater ease.
Martha would hold the body Qi field, a stationary practice but she believes it increased becoming aware of the chatter of her busy and wandering mind & also encourages grounding and centering techniques that foster emotional stability. By embracing heart-opening practices in Qigong, she learnt to approach difficult situations with compassion and understanding.
Ultimately, daily Qigong routines empower individuals to age gracefully with Qigong, reminding them that they are the directors of their lives, capable of fostering joy and resilience.

In Zhineng Qigong we are encouraged to live with an open heart and open mind & in today's Qigong podcast - Hunyuan Qi Therapist and Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner, Heather Bourne discusses the art of healing with love.
Heather believes that healing is connected to love - in Hunyuan Qi Therapy and Qigong we are to connect heart and mind, because once separation occurs we sometimes fall ill or fall victim to stressors, because we forget we are one. When we are aligned with our heart, mind and body, we create wholeness - a sense of peace, compassion, kindness and love for yourself that you can reflect to the world and share with others.
In Qigong, love isn't just a feeling or sentiment as it's portrayed in most of society (often quite a selfish thing) as Heather explains. It's a reflection of our inner being or our true self. When you have an open heart and love through the basis of Qigong it becomes a mirror, so if you love a person it reflects a certain quality within you helping you to love yourself.
When connecting with the Qi field, Heather found that it's an opportunity to be present with an open mind, another key principle of the Qi Gong practice. When we have an open mind in Zhineng Qigong, we are often at a place of objectivity, we place ourselves in the shoes of others and realise that there's no judgement for others' lived experience. We see others as ourselves, we become one and begin to see things from their perspective leading to a more compassionate relationship with one another, led by love - and then as Heather describes it, miracles and healing can occur.
Qigong and love together create a holistic approach to healing that emphasizes unity and harmony. By practicing Qigong with love, we not only heal ourselves but also contribute to a broader sense of oneness and compassion.
Mindful moments:
Love in Qigong transcends personal feelings, representing unconditional acceptance and universal connection.
Zhineng Qigong creates a healing state of oneness, dissolving boundaries between practitioner and patient.

Frequency healing and the addition of music to the sessions became central to Lou's practice, as she spent years studying how different musical time signatures affect consciousness and healing potential.
Through Dr. Pang's 8 verses meditation, Lou accesses heightened consciousness to observe how frequencies interact with the Qi field. This led her to develop a method combining qigong with frequency healing, where she identifies blockages causing disease and directs Qi to stimulate natural healing in those areas.
Being mindful of your breath helps you stay present and aware of energy shifts. By merging with frequencies in Zhineng Qigong, you can access new healing possibilities and become more receptive to the Qi field's healing potential.

David Ho’s life took an unexpected turn when he was faced with a health crisis, after collapsing and blacked out on a bathroom floor. Doctors told him that it was just because he was ill, but David doubted the diagnosis. He started noticing an eye floater and it was revealed that he had macular degeneration. In today’s Qigong podcast, we explore how an incurable eye disease, according to western medicine, was completely healed by consistent and disciplined Zhineng Qigong practice.
A diagnosis like this is always alarming, though David began to seek alternative methods to heal eye disease, motivated by an intention and desire to regain his eye health and improve his vision. The Qigong practice became central to David’s recovery to improve his eye sight naturally. He practiced Qigong for his eye health, with Zhineng Qigong exercises like "Lift Qi Up" and "Pour Qi Down," and Three Centers Merge which helped him focus on restoring his ocular health. He visited his optician for follow-up scans & revealed a remarkable recovery in his vision. This recovery highlighted the power of intention and discipline in achieving health goals in Zhineng Qigong.
Using Qigong for eye health, David enhanced his eye care to maintain healthy vision. A Qigong practitioner himself he now teaches people how to empower their own well being and is focused on Qigong for improved eyesight. Highlighting that a positive mindset is essential for healing. Changing information from the diagnosis is a crucial concept of Zhineng Qigong the idea that one can change the information in their body through consistent practice and clear intention. Zhineng Qigong became a transformative path for Yoann Regis, offering him a profound journey of self-discovery during a challenging period of his life. In today’s Qigong podcast, Yoann Regis talks about his struggles with feeling out of place and how his spiritual journey through Qigong opened up new possibilities of healing and connection. This feeling of disconnection and separation propelled him to slow down and reflect on his life, ultimately guiding him towards the transformative power of Qigong.
The Huaxia Centre holds great importance for Qigong practitioners and students alike - and it was no different for Yoann. It is here that he learnt that joy, was not something to be achieved, but a natural state to be rediscovered by reconnecting with one's inner child and the fundamental energy of life with the help of a fellow Qigong student who faced a life threatening illness.
Dr. Pang's philosophy that we are all both students and masters in our own right - resonates with Yoann. It shifts the traditional hierarchical dynamic. This perspective encourages oneness, another foundational principle of the Zhineng Qigong practice, community and collaboration. Connecting with your true self is essential. Yoann mentions that it’s an important step to personal growth, when we have self doubt we often create separation and therefore anxiety. Ultimately complicating our lives instead of embracing simplicity.
Openness is a cornerstone of the Qigong practice. He encourages individuals to start where they are without the need for perfection. This creates a community where everyone can share in each others wisdom through sharing the Qi field and enabling self discovery.
Yoann's wisdom remind us that while we may face challenges along our paths, embracing our authentic selves and trusting in our abilities can lead to profound transformation and joy in life.

Zhineng Qigong blends traditional Chinese wisdom with modern psychology, exploring the intricate mind-body connection through Master Zhen's "Psychology of Inner Perception" and its approach to holistic healing through heart-centered awareness.
Master Zhen discovered at the Huaxia Centre (medicine less hospital) that emotional blockages can significantly impact healing, observing how patients with similar conditions respond differently to Qigong based on their emotional states and self-connection.
In Qigong, emotional blockages or "heart stones" obstruct the flow of Qi, impacting overall well-being. According to Master Zhen, mindfully acknowledging emotional trauma without judgment can promote mental clarity. By accepting these emotions without resistance, individuals can gradually heal from within, developing a deeper heart-centered understanding.
Zhineng Qigong enables healing by accepting emotions without reliving past traumas. By connecting with Shen (heart's spirit), practitioners raise consciousness without needing to rationalize feelings. Master Zhen's Psychology of Inner Perception provides a framework for healing through emotional awareness. The practice transcends intellectual analysis, offering a compassionate journey back to one's essential nature, liberating individuals from constraining narratives and fostering profound self-understanding.

Level One Zhineng Qigong serves as a foundational practice that emphasizes the importance of Lift Qi Up, Pour Qi Down method. This exercise is a central part of the healing process at the Huaxia Centre, a renowned medicine-less hospital in China founded by Dr. Pang Ming. In today’s Qigong podcast - Britta Stalling, Qigong Practitioner and Huyuan Qi Therapist, discusses the first level of Zhineng Qigong.
Qi squats and the Three Centres Merge are additional Qigong movements of Level 1 Qigong, enhancing the practice's effectiveness, Britta explains. Dr. Pang’s goal was to simplify traditional Qigong methods, but maintain it’s power. The transformative power of these Qigong exercises, can lead individuals toward achieving their highest potential and overall well-being, Britta mentions.
Britta explains the transformation law of Qi plays a significant role in level one of Qigong, discussing how physical matter changes into energy and information through awareness. With this principle the idea is that our life force is constantly exchanging with the abundant Qi found in nature. By embracing this exchange, practitioners can tap into the regenerative power of the universe: self healing, personal growth and authentic living.
Healing and transformation becomes accessible through consistent practice, where self-awareness and powerful intention guide the practitioner's journey, Britta notes. Here, acceptance and mindful way finding through life's challenges, enables individuals to reach their full potential by understanding the connection between mind and qi.

Detachment is a crucial concept in Zhineng Qigong and achieving a balanced and happy life, as explained by Leilah Cupido (Qigong Practitioner & Huyuan Qi Therapist). In today’s Qigong podcast we learn that detachment is not about separation - but rather about returning to a place of objectivity and wholeness without any subjective influences Leilah explains.
Leilah notes that inner work is essential in this process. By defining the relationship to the attachment and understanding its source, individuals can begin to detach in a way that is not about denying the importance of the attachment but about creating a healthier relationship with it. Whether it be grief, emotional baggage or toxic thought patterns. This approach allows individuals to honor and love what they are attached to without being controlled by it.
Our reference framework shapes how we perceive and interact with the world, often creating limitations based on learned behaviors, ego & defensive mechanisms and is often how attachments are formed. Limiting beliefs and thought patterns often arise, but through Qigong therapy Leilah notes you can free yourself from habitual thinking or reactions.
Leilah guides her clients through a Yi Yuan Ti meditation, which involves the Qi of the consciousness where the true self resides. This meditation is a powerful tool for reconnecting with one's inner self and establishing a more stable foundation free from the subjectivity of attachments.
The subtle La Qi method, yields significant results in emotional healing too. Leilah uses the La Qi method that involves sending and returning Qi related to the attachment, helps in creating a dynamic of giving and receiving, thereby resolving the attachment in a healthy manner. Through these Zhineng Qigong techniques, many individuals experience improvements in their emotional wellbeing, but also an improvement in energy levels.
Through Qigong, detachment leads to peace of mind and life balance. By cultivating objectivity and inner wholeness, practitioners learn to transcend worrisome thoughts and emotional attachments. This centered state enables acceptance of life's challenges and promotes personal growth and well-being.
Mindful moments:

Dementia, a condition often deemed incurable by Western medicine, was the catalyst for Bernhard Karrasch's journey into the Zhineng Qigong practice. In today’s Qigong podcast, discover how qigong for dementia was beneficial to Bernhard Karrasch’s wife.
His wife diagnosed with dementia showed typical symptoms of cognitive decline and memory loss - to the point where even Bernhard was unrecognisable. They attended a Zhineng Qigong retreat in China - and within 5 months his wife already had signs of an improved cognitive function and brain health.
As a microbiology and biochemistry scientist, Bernhard discovered how Qigong supported his wife's health by understanding the mind-body connection. He concluded that thoughts and intentions directly influence physical health, triggering the body's natural healing abilities. By changing thoughts and behavior, one can initiate recovery - a key principle of Zhineng Qigong.
Bernhard's research explored Qi as a scientific concept, using quantum mechanics principles to understand its role in energy and universal information. He discovered that Qi encompasses the fundamental rules of the universe, including biochemistry. This understanding suggests that minimizing stressors and maintaining natural living can reduce disease susceptibility.
La Qi method became a fundamental practice in his wife’s healing journey, Bernhard explains. The simple Qigong movement of opening and closing and visualising clear mental images of optimal health, was also beneficial to her overall cognitive wellness, balance and co-ordination and boosted memory.
Western medicine, while valuable, often focuses on treating symptoms rather than addressing the underlying causes of diseases. In contrast, alternative healing methods like Zhineng Qigong aim to enhance life quality by reduces stressors.
Bernhard's experience and research highlight the powerful interplay between thoughts, Qi, and the body's natural healing mechanisms, in this case Qigong for dementia. By embracing practices like Zhineng Qigong and adopting a positive, mindful approach to life, individuals can significantly improve their health and quality of life.
Mindful moments:
Qigong & Dementia: Qigong shows promise in healing dementia
Mind-Body Connection: Thoughts and intentions influence physical health
Qi as Science: Qi is a form of energy and information
La Qi Method: Simple Qigong movements improve cognition, balance, and memory.
Visualization & Healing: Mental imagery aids physical and cognitive healing.
Lifestyle Transformation: Mindful living improves overall health.
As a Qigong teacher & Huyuan Qi therapist herself, core Zhineng Qigong principles are no stranger to Wabke Bouman. In today’s Qigong podcast Wabke speaks on many Qi gong principles: intention, trust & acceptance.
Intention is a crucial aspect of both personal and spiritual growth. When you have an intention that truly comes from within, you connect with the Qi field. The more you build and connect to the Qi field, the open you are, the more possibilities arise. Connecting with the Qi field or the universe opens up pathways and opportunities that might not have been visible otherwise. We often have a narrow reference frame work of what intention is and doing so can close off so many possibilities, as Wabke explains.
Trust is not only an essential part to intention, but to the Qigong practice as a whole. While setting a clear direction is important, it is equally vital to surrender to the journey or Qi field and trust that the universe or life will guide you towards your goals as Wabke notes. With consistent Zhineng Qigong practice you can re-build trust. This trust is about trusting life itself to treat you well and lead you to where you need to be. Western culture has a thought pattern of protection and one that’s rooted in fear, where as in Qigong with an open heart and mind you learn to let go of the need for control and embrace the unknown.
Qigong teaches acceptance of all situations, good or bad. By removing judgment and embracing the moment, you reduce suffering and find unexpected blessings. Wabke shares a personal story of how accepting an injury led to unexpected kindness and growth.
Happiness and gratitude is another central Zhineng Qigong theme Wabke explores in this episode. It is important to recognize that happiness and fulfillment are not just end goals but are present throughout the journey, Wabke clarifies. It’s the trust that you can be happy before reaching your goal, the acceptance in the midst of challenges, the gratitude in enjoying the journey and finding happiness in the present moment - all key principles of Qigong and navigation systems for life.
Mindful moments:
Intention & Qigong: Intention guides Qigong practice and opens new possibilities.
Qi Field Connection: Connecting to the Qi field expands potential.
Trust in Qigong: Trust in the journey and the universe.
Letting Go of Control: Embrace the unknown and reduce suffering.
Acceptance in Qigong: Accept all situations without judgment.
Happiness & Gratitude: Find happiness in the present moment.
Having a vision for your life serves as an internal compass, guiding you toward success. In today’s Qigong podcast Anke Huerkamp discusses how, with the help of Zhineng Qigong, you can too discover your life vision and live your highest potential.
Self-discovery happens organically through consistent Qi Gong practice - it’s more than having a vision board about creating the life you want, with Qigong it’s about building inner trust and a oneness with an open heart and mind. The heart-mind connection strengthens as we learn to align our thoughts with our heart's wisdom, as Anke explains. As we raise our awareness, our trust building occurs gradually as we validate our inner knowing and no longer seek validation externally.
When faced with failure or difficulties, it is important to leave judgment and comparison behind, Anke explains. With the principles of oneness and unity in Qigong, this mindset helps individuals navigate challenges with greater resilience and inner peace - knowing that even with setbacks you are still well on your way to making your vision a reality. It’s with this unity, being aligned with your heart and your mind whereby you can overcome the inevitable challenges.
The La Qi method is used during Anke’s vision coaching. La Qi teaches you a simple “open and absorb” movement, hands gather Qi and nourish either the whole body or specific focus areas. With this method Anke teaches you to open up and absorb to all possibilities for your vision and to live an authentic & successful life.
We often have a reference framework or an old thought pattern that we’ll be happy once we achieve our vision or a certain goal. With Qigong, this is not the case - you learn to be happy on your way to your vision. Happiness precedes achievement, rather than being its result. When you are happy and connected to your heart, you can effectively communicate your vision and attract others to support you, Anke emphasises.
Implementing your vision involves taking action based on the inner trust and clarity gained through Qigong. Anke works with clients to not only discover their vision but also to implement. She emphasizes the importance of knowing what you want without doubt - tune in to hear how to discover your vision and live your highest potential.

True healing, according to Maarten van Opstal, means to liberate yourself from any burden. In today’s Qigong podcast, Maarten explains how ancestral healing became his pathway to understanding how his kidney failure connected to a larger family story.
Generational trauma affects us more deeply than we realize, as demonstrated through Maarten's powerful healing journey. After receiving a kidney transplant, mind body healing transformed his perspective, leading him from purely physical recovery to a deeper emotional awakening. The mind body spirit connection through Zhineng Qigong opened his eyes to a fundamental truth: we cannot separate our physical, emotional, and energetic aspects, they are all one.
Accepting his physical limitations was a gateway to deeper healing, while genetic inheritance showed itself not just in physical features, but in the way he processed emotions. Through oneness in Qigong, when leading with acceptance, there's a particular wholeness and peace in any situation. Another key principle of the Qigong practice: having an open heart and open mind - a healing transformation occurred when he finally accepted his body completely, acknowledging both the blessings and challenges inherited from his ancestral line. His acceptance is a culmination of his work with Qigong and his exploration of the relationship between his ancestors and his own energy being.
Finding life purpose through healing emerged as Maarten discovered that true liberation means freeing oneself from ancestral burdens. Zhineng Qigong and Chinese medicine healing principles helped him understand that his body's story started long before his birth. Maarten's story underscores the significance of holistic healing, which encompasses not just the physical but also the mental and emotional dimensions.
By integrating Qigong, Chinese Medicine and his background in psychology, Maarten achieved a deeper sense of peace and gratitude in his life. Tune in to hear his story.

Ancestral burdens can be released through understanding and acceptance of family lineage
Holistic healing must address physical, mental, and emotional dimensions simultaneously
Zhineng Qigong can be a powerful tool for all phases of life, including at the end-of-life. In our Qigong Podcast, Qigong practitioner Reyna Lerma, found that the Qigong practice offers unique support for those transitioning and their families during her time volunteering at hospice and palliative care facilities. Transformation is a natural part of life, and Qigong helps facilitate this process with grace and awareness.
By building and sharing the Qi field, along with meditation, Reyna uses these Qigong techniques to support patients in their journey. Pain management is one of the practical benefits Zhineng Qigong offers in end-of-life care when movement is possible. Sharing the Qi field is a fundamental practice, which may contribute to pain relief.
Reyna also addresses emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of a person's journey. Consciousness becomes a central focus, as she aims to support individuals in reaching their highest level of awareness during transition. Forgiveness work, both for oneself and others, often becomes an important part of the transformation process. Mental clarity can be enhanced through Qigong practices, helping individuals make peace with their journey.
Oneness and wholeness are key concepts to Zhineng Qigong and in Reyna's approach with individuals. Embracing these principles transcends the fear of death and separation, leading to a more open and accepting attitude towards life and finding peace within their final moments. It is well known that once separation occurs - suffering ensues, Qigong brings wholeness to any situation even when faced with something seemingly as crude as death.
Family support is a crucial aspect of end-of-life care, and Qigong can help create a supportive environment for all involved. Loss doesn’t only affect the individual, but the people around them. With Reyna’s end-of-life doula training complementing Qigong, she provides a holistic approach to supporting individuals and families through this difficult time.

Beauty in Zhineng Qigong goes far beyond surface-level appearance. In this episode of our Qigong podcast, certified Qigong therapist Tiffany Scruggs connects the dots between the Qigong practice and beauty as it emphasises that beauty emanates from within and the importance of opening the heart and mind - a core Qigong principle.
Helping individuals connect with their true self in her workshops, they naturally radiate joy, which manifests as a sparkle in their eyes. Physical Qigong movements and meditation form the basis of her workshops. Individuals set intentions while looking in the mirror and practice positive affirmations, as individuals enhance their self-confidence and self-love through self care.
Building and sharing the Qi field is another essential aspect of Tiffany's beauty-focused workshops. In the Zhineng Qigong practice it is well know that sharing the Qi field, in numbers - amplifies the healing potential, Tiffany uses the Qi field for promoting wellness both physically and emotionally. By addressing heartstones and balancing emotions through practices like Chen Qi, participants can positively influence their facial features and overall radiance and magnetism. Self-confidence naturally grows as individuals learn to accept and love themselves through these holistic wellness approaches. Posture correction and exercises like Qi squats help improve energy circulation, while heart-opening practices foster self-love and authentic living.
Ultimately, for Tiffany who is an acupuncturist & herbalist - there’s no coincidence that her teachings reflect a profound understanding of how holistic healing through Zhineng Qigong can lead to a more radiant presence. As participants learn to embrace their true selves and cultivate positive energy and self care, they discover that genuine attractiveness comes from within—a beautiful blend of confidence, joy, and self-acceptance that shines through in every smile.

Self-Care Practices: Adjust posture, use affirmations, and practice self-acceptance.
Zhineng Qigong serves as a transformative practice that emphasizes holistic healing, but why do some heal from their disease and others don’t?
Is it that some set stronger intentions than others? Is fear blocking the Qi flow, causing a somatic separation? Is it resistance of the ego? A jaded reference framework? Is it persistence because of our life’s purpose or is it down to surrendered acceptance?
In this special episode of our Qigong podcast, features Britta Stalling, Debra Weisenburger-Lipetz, Federico García and Ronit Adar sharing insight on one of life’s biggest questions.
Intention plays a crucial role in the healing process, as emphasized by Britta. She notes that while many individuals claim a desire to heal, the depth of their intention often varies. Britta illustrates this with examples of two Qigong practitioners facing similar health challenges; one’s powerful life intention led to significant healing, while the other’s doubts and fears impeded progress.
Having healed from stage 4 breast cancer, Qigong teacher, Debra highlights the importance of addressing emotional blockages such as fear and worry, which can create densities that hinder healing. She argues that too much focus on illness detracts from understanding the holistic nature of health, suggesting that a strong foundation built through the Qigong practice allows individuals to connect with their true selves.
Federico, having also faced his own health challenges with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), echoes Debra's sentiments. He notes the importance of shifting attention away from fear and anxiety toward a mindset of joy and peace can also promote healing. A radical acceptance is also important to stay whole and unified, for it's disturbances such as stress that complicate the healing process. Where mind, body, and spirit are aligned - suffering cannot ensue.
Self-awareness in the healing process, is important for Ronit, having healed from rheumatoid arthritis through Zhineng Qigong. Understanding who you truly are is foundational to overcoming the fear, that often stems from a lack of self-knowledge. This separation from one's true self can lead to suffering. Ronit emphasizes self-honesty to understand ego's impact on experiences.
One question with many answers, we can agree that healing is deeper than physical symptoms; it encompasses rebuilding trust—trust in life and in one’s own purpose, in the belief that our path is set.
Mindful Moments:
Qigong & Healing: Personal experiences show Zhineng Qigong's healing potential
Mingjue in Zhineng Qigong is a self aware state that goes beyond all feelings, thoughts and emotions. It is a state of pure consciousness and clear awareness that is both accessible and applicable in daily life. Regina Dell Oro teaches us how to access this almost meditative state and how to apply Mingjue to every situation. When we align with the inner observer through Zhineng Qigong, we develop a stable consciousness state and awaken to our true self. Mingjue acts as a gateway, connecting our everyday, concept-driven thinking to a more elevated state of pure awareness.
Regina was taught how to access Mingjue by Teacher Wei Qifeng. How to ensure relaxation forms the foundation of the Mingjue practice, allowing Qigong practitioners and students to let go of tension and enter a deeper state of consciousness. Observation follows, where attention is brought to the body and mind without judgment. The third step is concentration, or effortless attention, deepens this observation, contradicting Western notions or reference frameworks of concentration as effortful.
Change naturally occurs as a result of these steps. Emotional regulation becomes possible through the application of Mingjue principles, Regina explains. By letting go of attachments and preconceptions is crucial throughout this process, Regina notes.
When you are in a state of Mingjue you are in control as choice in reactions is emphasised. Regina also notes that daily life has stressors, and she encourages us to use Qigong and Mingjue in all aspects of one's life. Regina believes that one’s Qi is preserved and enhanced through Mingjue and Zhineng Qigong, leading to increased energy and joy in daily experiences.
Mindful moments:
Mingjue: A state of pure consciousness beyond feelings and thoughts.
Access Mingjue: Relax, observe, and focus.
Emotional Regulation: Release attachments and preconceptions.
Enhanced Qi: Increase energy and joy through Mingjue.
Gateway to Higher Awareness: Connect with your true self.

The Zhineng Qigong practice has its purpose in unity and balance within the mind-body connection. Dr Pang said Qigong shouldn’t be limited to movements, but a reflection in daily life. Sahaja Yuantong integrated diet and food choices with Zhineng Qigong, reflecting wholeness. Qigong and nutrition are interconnected aspects of holistic health. The Zhineng Qigong practice, while not explicitly focused on diet, recognizes the importance of food in overall well-being.
Discovering your true-self through Zhineng Qigong, will expand awareness as this is the source of wisdom even with personal nutrition. The inner master, will become conscious of the effect food can have. Sahaja explains, that our inner-self, awakens as one becomes more attuned to their body's needs through mindfulness. Our reference framework of food often influence our choices, this could stem from childhood or an experience associated with a particular meal, like seeking comfort - Sahaja notes.
Sahaja discusses, flexibility and awareness in dietary choices allow individuals to adapt to their unique requirements. Recalling an acupuncture session, where she was told to increase her protein intake and take a more balanced route with her nutrition. Encouraging mindful eating rather than rigid dietary rules, where missing nutrients can cause trouble and develop into a disease.
Sahaja touches on the inevitable cravings too. As cravings complicate our relationship with food. Recognizing these cravings is essential for distinguishing them from genuine nutritional needs. It’s okay to satisfy a craving in moderation, because even a craving will work it's way out and reset, Sahaja emphasizes the importance of balance and oneness in food choices.
We have to be mindful of what we put into our bodies. Sahaja highlights the significance of aligning food choices with the natural rhythms of life. The concept of macrobiotics (a diet associated with Zen Buddhism), which emphasizes the balance of yin and yang in foods & illustrates how seasonal eating can enhance health. For instance, ever wondered why you prefer lighter meals in summer, while heartier ones in winter? This approach reflects the Daoist philosophy that underpins both Qigong and nutrition, suggesting that food should harmonize with our environment and personal needs.
Mindful moments:
Qigong & Nutrition: Zhineng Qigong emphasizes nutrition for holistic health
Self-Awareness & Food: Connect with your true self to make informed food choices
Yin & Yang Eating: Balance your diet with seasonal eating
Mindful Eating: Be conscious of how food affects your energy
Children without discipline often lack self-control or focus - a challenge for parents, but for Mirjam Buck, children are at the heart of her Zhineng Qigong practice. Zhineng Qigong practices, have proven to capture children's attention, allowing them to explore their innate abilities, extending beyond consciousness and the physical level. Being seen and respected are important to children, even at such a young age. By simply building a Qi field, removing ego and having a sense of community: discipline issues that some children initially faced have been addressed through Zhineng Qigong. Qigong enabled children to respect each other's emotions and ideas, creating a safe space for them to express themselves freely.
Intention and it’s power has been demonstrated by these children countless times, through spoon bending exercises and even placing cut zucchini back together, Mirjam discusses. Children grow up in times where external validation and instant gratification are, seemingly, a part of daily life. A reference framework driven by ego and comparison. In Qigong, Mirjam taught them that sharing the Qi field as a group, sending information with supportive, positive energy as their fellow classmates achieve success won’t hinder theirs. They were just as influential and instrumental in their classmates’ success, showcasing the power of unity and oneness - a core principle of Zhineng Qigong.
La Qi, with pouring Qi down and the 8 verses meditation, are Qigong practices children really love. Children report vivid sensations of energy and light, Mirjam notes. Children of her class found doing La Qi and meditating with the eight verses of Zhineng Qigong was grounding and help balance them after a stressful day. Mirjam notes that she often learns from them too. Mirjam excluded herself in the group, one of her student’s asked "Why are you not saying we are wonderful? You forgot yourself." This taught Mirjam about maintaining equality and connection within the group.
Parents and guardians know the importance of the formative years in a child’s life it’s well documented. Self-confidence, and knowing your true self through Qigong is Mirjam’s purpose of these classes. Anxiety and insecurity are often the results of separation of self within childhood, the Zhineng Qigong practice provides a foundation of unity and emotional resilience, preparing children for the challenges of life.
Mindful Moments:
Zhineng Qigong helps kids discover their true selves, building Self-Confidence
Qi Field and Unity: Build a Qi field creating oneness and a supportive, positive environment for all.
Qigong creates a safe space for children to connect and support each other, removing ego and jealousy.
Intention: Children have demonstrated extended abilities through intention & experiments.
La Qi and 8 verses meditation are the kid's favorites.
Yi Yuan Ti represents the energy of our brain and the Qi of the central nervous system. Dr Pang describes this brain energy as the most refined Qi in the universe. Zhineng Qigong teacher, Katrien Hendrickx discusses that this power of the mind is essential for our physical well-being and also serves as the foundation for our consciousness. Stating that a pure Yi Yuan Ti is equated with one's true self, free from the accumulated experiences that form our reference framework. A distinct type of Qi. It has autonomy yet precision. The one who stays focused can direct Qi and influence physical and emotional healing, Katrien explains.
To cultivate Yi Yuan Ti - observation is a critical component. It’s by becoming aware of our reference framework—shaped by life experiences and emotional responses—we can begin to purify our Yi Yuan Ti, Katrien explains. This awareness allows us to recognize thought patterns and habits. As we learn to observe these reactions without judgment, we can gradually set aside our conditioned responses and reconnect with the purity of our Yi Yuan Ti, fostering a clearer perception of ourselves and our surroundings.
In Zhineng Qigong, the nervous system is seen as the first life system, which processes sensory information and shapes our life experiences. Yi Yuan Ti comes into play, in the second life system, unlocking the potential for what some may call paranormal abilities. Katrien notes these abilities are not supernatural but rather a natural consequence of our innate capacities, waiting to be cultivated through practice and awareness. By activating certain energy points to where the Yi Yuan Ti is located in our brain we develop these abilities, something akin to that of the third eye - a higher consciousness or sixth sense.
Zhineng Qigong practitioners and students can learn to cultivate Yi Yuan Ti to find their true self and understand the world around them. By tapping into this energy, individuals can manage their physical health, their cognitive processes and even clear emotional blockages, allowing for a more harmonious life.

Yi Yuan Ti is described as the energy of the brain, considered the most refined Qi (vital life force) in the universe according to Dr. Pang, founder of Zhineng Qigong
In Qigong a pure Yi Yuan Ti is equated with one's true self, free from accumulated experiences that form our reference framework
Cultivating Yi Yuan Ti can help individuals manage physical health, cognitive processes, and emotional blockages, promoting a more harmonious life
Yi Yuan Ti is linked to consciousness, a foundational aspect of the Zhineng Qigong practice
Dr. Pang's theory describes three layers: body, Qi, and the information level (consciousness), with Yi Yuan Ti being the energy of consciousness and the central nervous system
The 8 verses meditation, also known as The Ding Tian Li Di song forms the foundation of the Zhineng Qigong practice. The Huaxia Centre teachers emphasise this as the most important aspect to learn. Federico Garcia-Anguiano explains that the eight verses - serves as preparation, not only for any method of practice but also, as Grandmaster Dr. Pang teaches, for life itself.
Federico explains that building a Qi field is a key concept within this practice, as its consciousness that plays a central role in understanding and applying the 8 verses. An old reference framework can lead to energy imbalances and disease when rigidly maintained. You distort reality through this limited perspective. The eight verses of Zhineng Qigong aim to free you from these constraints, serving as a reminder of your true self.
Buddhism, Daoism and Confucianism are all cultural influences for the 8 verses meditation. It even has reference to a musical scale as well. The eight verses meditation is structured in a way that mirrors this law, with intervals between verses representing the progression through the octave.
Each verse in the 8 verses serves as a preparation for the next, with the preceding verses laying the groundwork for the insights and experiences of the following ones. In Zhineng Qigong, the theory and practice are inseparable, with consciousness permeating every aspect of the practice.

Where the mind goes, Qi follows. For Luise Kohl-Hajek this practice and phrase was a key part of her healing journey from a breast cancer diagnosis. Qi, being the vital life force in the Zhineng Qigong practice. Intention was what drove Luise to find alternative methods to heal cancer. To find new information, change her mindset to a positive one and change her prognosis. Homeopathy was one of the methods she tried, it supported her journey though it didn’t heal her completely.
Her Qigong teacher, recommended a book at a time when Luise was at a crossroads: western medicine or eastern practices - China, ultimately was her destination of choice. After hearing about so many healing stories. Information is what changed and shaped her understanding, as it reinforced her belief in the power of her mind and body to heal. And her intention and deeper unconscious beliefs influenced her healing. While conscious thoughts, like the mind, may be filled with doubts and fears, a deeper, often unconscious conviction, like one’s heart, can drive the healing process.
Intuition guided Luise as she navigated her health challenges. Her inner voice urged her to practice Qigong consistently, leading her to believe that after four weeks, her cancer would heal. Intention is linked to information and information to manifestation. It’s by hearing new information that influence our beliefs, heart and mind. What information or thoughts are you going to listen to? An old frame of reference or something new and positive?
Tune in to hear how Luise and her deep-seated intuition combined with learning new information, helped her confront fear and navigate her life.

Yi Dao Qi Dao - Where the mind flows, Qi follows. A principle central to Zhineng Qigong
Healing with Qigong: Trust in the healing process and allowing the Qi (vital life force) to work in its own way is important.
Clearing blockages with Qi for trauma: Complete healing involves understanding and integrating deeper emotional and psychological layers, not just conscious thoughts.
The choice in how we react to thoughts or information: During difficult times we have a choice in how much we follow old frames of reference or thought patterns , though it takes consistency to overcome
Self awareness: Becoming aware of one's thoughts and choosing to align with deeper wisdom is an ongoing practice that requires presence and commitment
Intention and deeper unconscious beliefs play a crucial role in shaping one's reality
In Chinese philosophy, the heart represents deeper knowledge and emotional wisdom, not just the mind
