I believe personal brand via various social media platforms are more significant in today’s job market (especially in DeFi, Blockchain, Cryptocurrency, NFTs •Recruiters aren’t reading your full resume line by line, so its time to start focusing on the areas that they are reading and making them standout. •I don’t see the need to have a resume longer than 2 pages. It seems like overkill and recruiters and hiring managers are probably not reading it •If you don’t have crypto experience it is best to put a highlight of qualifications at the top of your resume, along with training / education and then place the non-crypto related work experience next •Take as many crypto compliance courses as you can to showcase on you resume (mentioned: Chainalysis, Ciphertrace, Confirm, Solidus labs, Elliptic/ ManchesterCF, Anchain.ai •Put a proper naming convention on your resume. | Ep. 20 (Season 2): Nobody Is Going To Take A Chance ON You Without A Connection | 24 Jan 2022 | 00:10:58
Nobody Is Going To Take A Chance On You Without A Connection Welcome to the episode 20 of the 2nd season of “WE WERE ON A BREAK” - Ross Voice. The series where the host, Stephen Brent Sargeant (Compliance Consultant to Bitfinex) talks to industry professionals during the CoronaVirus (COVID-19) quarantine and gains industry insights and expertise. Although the LinkedIn algorithm won’t have you believe this, there are very few recruiters or hiring manager that will take a chance on a professional who doesn’t meet the minimum requirements for the job, without there being some connection via a third party or an existing professional relationship. Youtube - https://lnkd.in/dNY6ACmC In this episode the host, Stephen Brent Sargeant discusses how to make better connections to be given those career opportunities even though you don’t have the exact skills that the job requires. Armed with this information, you can spend more of your time building meaningful connections instead of just sending your resume to the black hole of AWS systems and recruiters who are managing multiple openings at a time. **This interview was recorded on January 16, 2022 **Disclaimer** The views and opinions expressed in this episode (and all episodes) are those of the host and the guests. They do not purport to reflect the opinions or views of their employers, contractors or any organization they may be affiliated with now or in the future. Discussion Topics: •The amazing stories on LinkedIn of a recruiter or hiring manager taking a chance on random professionals is not the norm and are usually strategically placed by the author to game the algorithm to get more exposure •Having a connection makes a huge difference and its always great if a connection can vouch for your skills, work ethic or easy to manage personality (mentioned: Carol Stewart and Rodney MacInnes) •Recruiters are not going to send a tonne of unqualified professionals to the client for them to consider. This negates exactly what the recruiter is there for, which is to find talented individuals that best suit the position •Companies don’t have the time, resources or money to just keep taking chances on people and its expensive to train professionals that they are taking the chance on •Go out and meet more professionals and make sure you stand out either in-person or via video or audio format (i.e. blogs, podcasts, video explainers) •Would you take a chance on you ?? Have you added any value to your professional network or built meaningful connections or have you just been asking everyone you know if they have a job for you •Look for opportunities, not jobs. Opportunities multiply so much that the jobs will come to you if you are adding value (ie. volunteering at events or with newsletters etc.) •Nobody is just going to blindly refer you to the job if they don’t have an existing relationship with you or know someone who does. | Ep 16 (Season 2): Is The Crypto Company You Are Applying To Legit?? | 07 Jan 2022 | 00:16:52
Is the Crypto Company That You Are Applying To Legit ? Welcome to the episode 16 of the 2nd season of “WE WERE ON A BREAK” - Ross Voice. The series where the host, Stephen Brent Sargeant (Compliance Consultant to Bitfinex) talks to industry professionals during the CoronaVirus (COVID-19) quarantine and gains industry insights and expertise. After my post about the crypto compliance job market yesterday, I got the following great questions: What kind of due diligence candidates should do before joining companies? Do you think just focusing on the funding a company received is a main factor in that decision? With crypto companies being so new in the market and coming up with multiple products, how does a candidate make a call on this? In this session, Stephen shares his insights on how to spot red flag with crypto employers and describes some of the best practices for researching crypto companies legitimacy and creditability. Joining a new startup is scary as it is, listen to this episode to avoid common pitfalls . Mentioned in this episode: Breadcrumbs, Amber Scott, Circle Impact, Peter Warrack **This interview was recorded on January 6, 2022 **Disclaimer** The views and opinions expressed in this episode (and all episodes) are those of the host and the guests. They do not purport to reflect the opinions or views of their employers, contractors or any organization they may be affiliated with now or in the future. Discussion Topics: It’s all in the approach •Random linkedin message without using your name / or telling you anything about the job •Was it through a recruiter – is that recruiter reputable in the space •Did the message seem spammy and they are slow to reply if you respond Research The company •Look for redflags oAre they offering products without a compliance program oDo they have existing Compliance program / policies procedures oCheck their Terms of Service do they mention anything about AML or is it a very vague and general statement oHigh turnover oNegative media oAre they in regulatory turmoil oDid the company start after the bull run (conferences in 2017) oSpeak to current and former employees and master connectors in the industry Does this company fit what you want •Remember the dream job requirements challenge amber gave me – does this position meet your requirements oIf you growth and exposure you may go to a smaller company with a smaller team reporting directly to CCO/CAMLO oIf you are looking to effect societal change than maybe companies like Circle with Circle Impact might be more appealing to you oIf you want to travel – working for international organization or remote opportunities where travel may be more regular etc Show Me The Money!! Maybe! •Be weary of companies that are offering you way above average salary – there is usually some internal / external issues •A company having capital is important / however you may be able to get in and get equity before the next raise and have some long term upside •If you are a one man/woman show make sure you are well compensated as your duties will be big and its your reputation on the line Don’t listen to me or anyone else •Go with your gut / you always get a feeling when something doesn’t seem right •Ask a lot of questions in the interviews around the things that matter to you (i.e culture etc.) •Don’t be desperate or take shortcuts just for the sake of getting a job Stephen Brent Sargeant (Host) •LinkedIn (Best way to reach me) - linkedin.com/in/stephen-brent-sargeant-cams •Instagram (Everyday type stuff) https://www.instagram.com/stephen_b_sargeant/ •Twitter (I communicate in GIFs) - https://twitter.com/lifesgt •Business Related Matters (Let’s Collab): stephenbsargeant@gmail.com Resources •3 CRYPTO COMPLIANCE JOBS YOU MIGHT HAVE MISSED (LinkedIn Post) - https://www.linkedin.com/posts/stephen-brent-sargeant-cams_cryptocurrency-compliance-aml-activity-6884495612910411776-k5SE •How To Be Crypto Compliance Ready In 2022 For Less Than $250 - https://www.linkedin.com/posts/stephen-brent-sargeant-cams_aml-compliance-blockchain-activity-6878701236447674368-XIP2 •The Chainalysis Crypto Crime Report: https://go.chainalysis.com/2021-Crypto-Crime-Report-demo.html?aliId=eyJpIjoiSFhodzNcL0tGMFkySzV5TlUiLCJ0IjoibE1TWFwvTDM2Y0lENHJhVFpOekVQeUE9PSJ9 •The Elliptic Typologies Report https://www.elliptic.co/resources/typologies-concise-guide-crypto-leaders •TRM Talks – Short 10 minute webinars: https://www.trmlabs.com/category/trm-talks •Intro To Cryptocurrency Forensics & Investigation: https://www.udemy.com/course/intro-to-cryptocurrency-forensics-investigation/ •Certified Bitcoin Professional: https://cryptoconsortium.org/certifications/cbp/ •Mastering Blockchain: https://www.amazon.ca/Mastering-Blockchain-Cryptocurrencies-Decentralized-Applications/dp/1492054704/ref=sr_1_4?crid=1RHT8RMV0SRDY&keywords=mastering+blockchain&qid=1639972556&s=books&sprefix=mastering+blockc%2Cstripbooks%2C74&sr=1-4 •Investigating Cryptocurrencies: https://www.amazon.ca/Investigating-Cryptocurrencies-Understanding-Extracting-Blockchain/dp/1119480582 Background Music (beat name: Leslie) •Goose Goddi (Music Producer) - https://instagram.com/goosegoddi?igshid=1paia8lwy2x3o •Beats Can Be Found On Amazon Music - https://www.amazon.com/Music-Station-Goose-Goddi/dp/B08B4BLCH1

He also provides enlightening opinions on what hiring managers can do to retain top talent **This interview was recorded on January 5, 2022 **Disclaimer** The views and opinions expressed in this episode (and all episodes) are those of the host and the guests. They do not purport to reflect the opinions or views of their employers, contractors or any organization they may be affiliated with now or in the future. Discussion Topics: The state of the crypto compliance job market •The great resignation – Does it really exist ??? •People just have more options •Even if you hated your job before / wfh / and the extra leniency and less pressure makes that somewhat shitty job look real good •People are going to be leaving jobs they really like, just because there are so many more opportunities and new niches like nfts, dao and defi to explore What professionals with blockchain investigations experience or advanced practical experience need to know •You got options – you are in short supply – push your chest out and walk around like the peacock you are •Be weary of the high paying shit shows --- yes you know which ones I’m talking about. Operating in major markets without a solid compliance program oOr the ones too busy to write a job description •You have options – find a place that you will actually enjoy working and where you feel there is room to grow or be connected with mentors / like minded professionals •Work with recruiters – yes i know very bias of me to say •Look at emerging blockchain companies that haven’t built out their compliance department but have raised a tonne of money (start connecting before positions are posted) •Stop lacking confidence – just because what you are doing doesn’t feel that hard or complex, your skillset is still in high demand •Dog years – 1 year crypto is like 7 in traditional compliance – use that to your advantage •Look into opportunities to provide consulting / advisory work on adhoc or equity exchange •Remember you got the chips – you are interviewing these companies What professionals without blockchain investigations experience or advanced practical experience need to know •This reminds me of 4 years ago when i started – enthusiasm is really the only barrier •Network with your blockchain buddies – many know of jobs that aren’t posted or have a good idea of who has approached them for jobs and might be able to help •Grab some quick certifications / or attack youtube aggressively •Apply even if you don’t have certs / strong traditional skills are still in high demand •Check out my post on how to be job ready for less than $250 – and take a vacation week off and bang out everything that week •Confidence is key – stop worrying that you have no experience – you should be able to learn how to conduct an investigation on the blockchain via various courses – just explain what you would do in that position •Although its not impossible – not everyone is going to transition at same pay / seniority as current traditional job •My thought process is start early in some place where you like the team and think you can get most exposure to different compliance functions and other departments / that experience will pay dividends in pay later on •Get paid in crypto and live beneath you means / stack equity What companies need to know •It’s a candidates market and your thoughts around compensation and work experience really don’t mean anything if you can’t find anyone to fill your roles oUse house and bidding wars example •Spend more time and resources investing in your current employees – they are your best recruiters oMany professionals may entice their traditional peers to want to take the leap – if you employee feels like they are part of a good company •This includes developing ways to give your current employees more exposure oLeading or attending events /meetings oWorking groups with international law enforcement etc oTraining / speaking / thought leadership opportunities oCompensation •Pay a premium for great fits and professionals with positive mindsets oYou just don’t need someone filing SARS oYou need them to identify typologies / create reports / make connections with industry peers etc •Don’t sleep – many companies did not take a break during the holidays from hiring – that luxury doesn’t exist •Stop with the grueling 4-5 touchpoint interviews Stephen Brent Sargeant (Host) •LinkedIn (Best way to reach me) - | Ep. 28 (Season 2): Why Burnout Isn't Your Bosses Fault | 24 Feb 2022 | 00:16:20
Maybe Burnout Isn't Your Bosses Fault, Maybe Its Yours Welcome to the episode 28 of the 2nd season of “WE WERE ON A BREAK” - Ross Voice. The series where the host, Stephen Brent Sargeant (Compliance Consultant to Bitfinex) talks to industry professionals during the CoronaVirus (COVID-19) quarantine and gains industry insights and expertise. Recent articles and reports describe a very bleak moral sweeping across the AML and Compliance industry and I discuss the possibility that Professionals and Industry associations may not be taking as good of care of themselves as they should be. Youtube - https://lnkd.in/dfE4S9kZ In this episode the host, Stephen Brent Sargeant discusses how AML professionals can relieve themselves of the often fictitious pressure put on them to work overtime, not take scheduled breaks or vacations and burn themselves out unnecessarily. This is probably not going to be a popular opinion for most professionals in AML but something to start having everyone think objectively about their mental health and well being in the workplace **This interview was recorded on February 6, 2022 **Disclaimer** The views and opinions expressed in this episode (and all episodes) are those of the host and the guests. They do not purport to reflect the opinions or views of their employers, contractors or any organization they may be affiliated with now or in the future. Discussion Topics •We have created our own downward spiral situations and put pressure on ourselves that may be leading us to burnout (mentioned: Joseph Ciccolo) •AML backlogs are causing managers and sometimes even creating tyrant leaders in order to complete the backlog or remediations •You don’t have to subscribe to this “hustle hard” / work endless hours philosophy even if your managers are hoping that you read in between the lines in order to pressure you to work harder •Don’t kill yourself in these fast paced, mentally draining environments, especially during the pandemic when there are lockdowns, restrictions, kids doing online learning, financial stressors popping up •The people that rise in these type of negative environments usually only see short term success and sometimes get demoted, get fired or take pay cuts, even though they were sacrificing they wellbeing and family time to prove they could work the most hours •You can work your hours, put in an honest days work, but not overdue or stress yourself out to the point that it is affecting your well being •On the other side you have to be comfortable with being passed up for promotions for others who are working long hours. This has to be weighed with how happy you are •Saying “no” when you don’t have the capacity is not a sign of weakness, it’s a sign of strength and self awareness •Has your organization checked in on you and asked about your well being or how you are doing, then you don’t owe them more than simply doing your role •People that say “I have no work-life balance” choose this path, it is not something anyone can force on you •Find organizations that align with your values around days off, diversity, health and well-being (mentioned: Chainalysis) •Perception is everything but with the pandemic, times have changed and working from home has become a default activity and not the rare perk •Taking your free time and doing stuff that gives you energy or that you are passionate about may be better than working extra hours •If you are a great worker, there are many organizations looking for top talent that would be dying to hire you, if you aren’t satisfied with your current work environment •Is human resources being proactive? | Ep. 26 (Season 2): Why I Think ACAMS Should NOT Lower Their Prices | 14 Feb 2022 | 00:16:21
💰 🤦🏾♀️ Why I Think ACAMS Should NOT Lower Their Prices 💰 🤦🏾♀️ Welcome to the episode 26 of the 2nd season of “WE WERE ON A BREAK” - Ross Voice. The series where the host, Stephen Brent Sargeant (Compliance Consultant to Bitfinex) talks to industry professionals during the CoronaVirus (COVID-19) quarantine and gains industry insights and expertise. In response to mix reactions to the AML educational juggernaut ACAMS $500 Million sale to French Investment Company, Wendel, I breakdown why I think ACAM should maintain their pricing scenario Youtube - https://lnkd.in/dcRvaaaA In this episode the host, Stephen Brent Sargeant responds to Oonagh van den Berg of Raw Compliance’s post on ACAMS recent sale and although he is in agreement of the majority of her points, the solution doesn’t seem to be alternative organizations and the emphasis should be put on AML professionals speaking with their dollars and for ACAMS to provide more value for the amount they are charging. This is probably not going to be a popular opinion for most AML professional’s but definitely some food for thought. **This interview was recorded on February 6, 2022 **Disclaimer** The views and opinions expressed in this episode (and all episodes) are those of the host and the guests. They do not purport to reflect the opinions or views of their employers, contractors or any organization they may be affiliated with now or in the future. Discussion Topics •Disclaimer – ACAMs has been instrumental in my career and I’m a super fan of many of the professionals that work there and they have made more efforts than any other organizations in the space to promote support for BIPOC and BAME professionals (mentioned: Lashvinder Kaur / acknowledged scholarship programs with FINTRAIL) •The ACAMS certification and membership fee doesn’t “appear” to be a significant barrier to excel in this industry and is definitely not a barrier to entry. •The information is essentially free or available in some form online, but if you want to have the prestige of having the designation there should be a cost for certification. No one is entitled to just become a certified AML professional and these organizations spend a lot of time, resources and capital to become industry leaders (mentioned: ACAMS / ACFCS) •If the information was free most of ACAMs competitors may probably be out of business and they are essential for other organizations to fill in the gaps (mentioned: Raw Compliance and •Do people value the least expensive courses and will professionals value the information. Will employers around the world value those less expensive certificates and prefer them on job descriptions •ACAMS has to increase the value they provide to their community including the CAFCA scholarship, the free anti-human trafficking training courses •Are you checking in with your community ?? Have you reached out to your community in the last two years and checked in on them •ACAMS designation is only one small part of the puzzle and professionals need to focus on soft skills and work experience as well. •ACAMS and ACFCS has a fullsome certification course and they aren’t just throwing together presentations and considering it a course. There is a lot of planning, expenses and strategies that go into building these courses •Big organizations have a bigger value proposition for industry professionals including compensation, exposure and network connection, which may outperform many of the smaller organizations (mentioned: Faisal I. •What are you paying for ??? Just don’t pay if you feel you have extracted enough of the value out of the professional relationship •If you are really struggling financially, it doesn’t hurt to ask these organizations or present creative ways that you can gain access to their courses. •ACFCS has really gained traction over the pandemic supporting the community with free courses, focus on cryptocurrency / fintech and more creativity and have a huge opportunity to push themselves as the industry leader Stephen Brent Sargeant (Host) •LinkedIn (Best way to reach me) - linkedin.com/in/stephen-brent-sargeant-cams •Instagram (Everyday type stuff) https://www.instagram.com/stephen_b_sargeant/ •Twitter (I communicate in GIFs) - https://twitter.com/lifesgt •Business Related Matters (Let’s Collab): stephenbsargeant@gmail.com Resources •Oonagh van den Berg Post about ACAMS sale: https://www.linkedin.com/posts/oonaghvandenberg_breaking-french-company-agrees-to-buy-acams-activity-6891424604209172480-r57a •How I Got Into Fincrime Compliance and Cryptocurrency) – Fintrail Podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/episode/41075463 •So You Want To Work In Crypto (Shelley Schachter-Cahm) - https://www.linkedin.com/posts/stephen-brent-sargeant-cams_so-you-want-to-work-in-crypto-compliance-activity-6872520607905456128-9NPK •3 Tips To Prep For Crypto Compliance Interview - https://www.linkedin.com/posts/stephen-brent-sargeant-cams_aml-compliance-blockchain-activity-6876533429148676096-Rysr •How To Get A Job In Crypto – What Certifications To Take: https://www.linkedin.com/posts/stephen-brent-sargeant-cams_tweet-aml-compliance-activity-6868919921863118848-fAB1 Background Music (beat name: Leslie) •Goose Goddi (Music Producer) - https://instagram.com/goosegoddi?igshid=1paia8lwy2x3o •Beats Can Be Found On Amazon Music - https://www.amazon.com/Music-Station-Goose-Goddi/dp/B08B4BLCH1

| Ep. 24 (Season 2): Is The UK Banning Cryptocurrency Advertisements?? | 07 Feb 2022 | 00:32:40 | |
🤦🏾♂️🚫 Is The UK Banning Cryptocurrency Advertisements ?? 🤦🏾♂️🚫 Welcome to the episode 24 of the 2nd season of “WE WERE ON A BREAK” - Ross Voice. The series where the host, Stephen Brent Sargeant (Compliance Consultant to Bitfinex) talks to industry professionals during the CoronaVirus (COVID-19) quarantine and gains industry insights and expertise. It’s been a few months since we had a guest on our show so we decided to bring on two UK Crypto compliance specialist to discuss the recent rulings by the UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) and potential influence from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Youtube - https://lnkd.in/dcdNxbjf In this episode the host, Stephen Brent Sargeant talks with Shelley Schachter-Cahm (Global Head of Compliance at Mode App) and Tom Bere-Brown (Governance & Compliance Intern) about the uphill battle companies are going to have when including cryptocurrency in their advertisements and what the impact will be on the crypto community going forward. If you are in the UK or work with companies that have UK operations, this is probably an episode to tune into and make sure you are on the right track when it comes to promotions. **This interview was recorded on January 26, 2022 **Disclaimer** The views and opinions expressed in this episode (and all episodes) are those of the host and the guests. They do not purport to reflect the opinions or views of their employers, contractors or any organization they may be affiliated with now or in the future. Discussion Topics: UK’s advertising Regulator, the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) looked into a complaint against Papa John’s free Bitcoin advertisement based on the promotion being irresponsible and taking advantage of the lack of consumer’s experience with cryptocurrency Coinbase Ad referencing the cost of Bitcoin in 2010 and the amount it had increased and customers should start investing now also attracted a complaint from ASA for not illustrating the risk of the investment and also misleading statements of their competition Short space of time ASA has targeted crypto promotions, potentially the extra scrutiny is due to influencer promotions that may be misleading the general public The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) didn’t have (until AFTER this was recorded)have current mandate to regulate the financial promotions for crypto assets; their mandate is still unclear. Crypto companies may feel like they are being specifically targeted more so than their traditional financial institution contemporaries How will the FCA determine what are credible crypto assets that can promote in a certain way and how does that effect competition in the market The FCA has influence on several jurisdictions that look to them for regulatory leadership and these emerging rules could be adopted around the world Can’t crypto companies steal a book from the Viagara marketing book and use the downfalls of crypto as the allure of their advertisements Can crypto companies start looking to social media and other non-traditional advertisements or is the tube (subway) a key anchor for an omni-channel advertisement strategy When can we expect regulations / guidelines from the FCA that will help give the go ahead for innovation and a new wave of crypto advertisements (we now know this will be “summer 2022) Can we borrow some best practices from the insurance industry and could it be just the solution that can keep both sides happy including the consumers Stephen Brent Sargeant (Host) LinkedIn (Best way to reach me) - linkedin.com/in/stephen-brent-sargeant-cams Instagram (Everyday type stuff) https://www.instagram.com/stephen_b_sargeant/ Business Related Matters (Let’s Collab): stephenbsargeant@gmail.com Shelley Schachter-Cahm (Host) LinkedIn - linkedin.com/in/shelley-schachter-cahm-967434 Website (company) https://www.modeapp.com/ Website (personal) https://www.facebook.com/TheToyDrop/ Email: shelley_schachter@hotmail.com Thomas Bere-Brown (Host) LinkedIn - linkedin.com/in/thomasberebrown Resources ASA article on their general approach to Crypto: https://www.asa.org.uk/news/digital-gold-cartoon-dogs-and-the-moon-advertising-cryptocurrencies.html Potential Relationship with ASA and FCA in article: https://beincrypto.com/uk-mps-call-for-more-crypto-regulation-to-protect-investors/ UK Government announcement about future crypto asset promotion legislation - https://www.gov.uk/government/news/government-to-strengthen-rules-on-misleading-cryptocurrency-adverts Singapore’s Clampdown on crypto ads - https://www.reuters.com/technology/singapore-cbank-issues-guidelines-discourage-crypto-trading-by-public-2022-01-17/ FCA consultation on financial promotions https://www.fca.org.uk/publications/consultation-papers/cp22-2-strengthening-our-financial-promotion-rules-high-risk-investments-includingcryptoassets

| Ep. 21 (Season 2): The Winners Are Watching | 27 Jan 2022 | 00:12:04 | |
The Winners Are Watching Welcome to the episode 21 of the 2nd season of “WE WERE ON A BREAK” - Ross Voice. The series where the host, Stephen Brent Sargeant (Compliance Consultant to Bitfinex) talks to industry professionals during the CoronaVirus (COVID-19) quarantine and gains industry insights and expertise. Many people are so concerned with vanity metrics, the likes and the follower counts, but many don’t realize that the winners are constantly watching to see who executes at a high level. Youtube - https://lnkd.in/dHta-u3q In this episode the host, Stephen Brent Sargeant discusses how to create content (i.e. articles, podcasts, blogs) in order to attract the winners in any industry. To help one other person in your industry could open up opportunities and jobs that you have never even thought of. If you are looking for a job / career in crypto or compliance, this is a MUST LISTEN. **This interview was recorded on January 16, 2022 **Disclaimer** The views and opinions expressed in this episode (and all episodes) are those of the host and the guests. They do not purport to reflect the opinions or views of their employers, contractors or any organization they may be affiliated with now or in the future. Discussion Topics: •How creating an AML Podcast in 2017 jump started my career, creativity and confidence in this industry (other notable Compliance podcasts mentioned: Compliance Time Podcast – Denitsa Rebaine / ACAMS podcast – Tom Robinson) •The winners may never comment, react or even engage with your content but they are watching and they usually reach out once they know you are consistently executing on subject matter and initiatives that they are interest in collaborating on or leveraging •Conversations are happening behind the scenes that you may never know about and people are definitely talking about the good things you are doing •Creating anything that is of service to the community is important and leads to others who always wanted to start something to join in and help support (mentioned: Chad, Sandy, Claudius) •1 > 0 – Even if you get 1 view or 1 subscriber or 1 like, that is better than doing nothing at all. Helping just one person (even if that is yourself by increasing your skills or confidence) is worth it •Someone engaging in my youtube content actually helped them find a job. A winner was watching and now they are working in crypto compliance, simply by showing interest and being engaging (mentioned: Lorne, Breadcrumbs, Tayna, Chris) •If you really want to get into crypto, these companies will find a place to use your full potential, so sometimes applying for positions that seem “lower” than where you are at a traditional FI, will still result in you being placed at a high level. You just never know. But the winners are watching •When you are creating your own positions there is no other competition / no other candidates / no other applicants.
