Meet Sam Walker!
Sam Walker is a multi-award winning journalist, broadcaster and podcaster. As a host, Sam appeared across national commercial and BBC Radio in the UK for nearly two decades, working for stations as varied as BBC Radio Manchester, Key 103, where she was the first women to host a daytime show, Real Radio, where she was the first woman to anchor a morning show, and national news and speech station BBC Radio 5 Live, where she presented for eight years before moving to the USA in 2019. She is currently the host of the award-winning Sam Walker’s Desert Diaries podcast, which also airs weekly on BBC Radio, and the critically acclaimed American Vigilante. Sam set up What Goes On Media in 2007 and has developed and edited over 20 successful podcast series for brands and individuals both in the UK and the USA. She developed and produces the series Coming Out Stories, which is now also a major book, published in 2021 and also hosted four seasons of What Goes On Here, for Audible. She has written for The Guardian newspaper and speaks regularly at conferences and colleges. She lives in Phoenix, Arizona.
