Prepare to punch some raw meat! This week, Vintage Cinema Rewind continues with their Deep Dive of the Sylvester Stallone classic: Rocky! As the title bout approaches, Blake and Michael run themselves ragged all across Philadelphia. But is all this training enough to defeat the Count of Monte Fisto? As they wait for their shot at Apollo Creed, the discuss the complicated relationships between characters, the difficult production process, and perhaps the even more inspiring story unfolding behind the scenes. 

The gloves are off on Vintage Cinema Rewind's long-anticipated review of Sylvester Stallone's star-making role: Rocky! It's a tale as old as time: a down-on-his-luck loan shark slash jobbing boxer gets a shot at the Heavyweight Champion of the World. As the prizefight looms, Blake and Michael take some time to examine the film's timeless themes, memorable performances, and iconic score. Can they go the distance? Or will they just end up punch-drunk?

Little Shop, Little Shop of Horrors! For our first Musical or Mystery? episode we chose the 1986 comedy-horror musical Little Shop of Horrors. A remake of sorts featuring the Canadian comedian Rick Moranis alongside Ellen Greene, Steve Martin, and a host of great cameos. Buckle up for this hilarious and surprisingly emotional rollercoaster of a film!

With Valentine's day coming up, the boys decided to talk about the classic Rom-Com When Harry Met Sally... (1989), starring Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal. One of the greats from the minds of Rob Reiner and Nora Ephron, this movie explores the relationship between men and women in a very heartfelt and authentic fashion. This movie in particular was a blast to discuss and dissect the themes and ideas, and whether they are outdated in 2022.
