From Self-Sabotage To Self-Love: Midlife Healing With NLP, Energy Work, And Soul-Aligned Journaling25 Feb 202600:35:32

A single question from a five-year-old stopped a suicide attempt and set a new life in motion. From there, Tara Wiskow lost 220 pounds naturally, faced the inner chaos that weight loss didn’t fix, and rebuilt her identity with practical self-love, NLP timeline work, and intuitive energy healing. We dig into the hard truths behind people pleasing, the quiet ways self-sabotage steals midlife joy, and the daily practices that make healing stick.

We start with soul-aligned journaling—the deceptively simple act of writing from the life you want—and how it surfaces real desires, buried needs, and the beliefs that block them. Tara explains power statements and mirror work as nervous system training, not fluff: stand taller, speak worth, and watch your energy shift. Then we go under the hood with NLP and mental-emotional release to find the root cause of limiting beliefs. Those “I’m not good enough” files usually start early; once the original imprint is released, your mind stops gathering proof for a story that never belonged to you.

From there, we explore intuitive energy healing in plain language: where dense emotion lives in the body, how release happens with consent and presence, and why it matters to refill cleared space with peace, love, and confidence so old patterns don’t return. Along the way, we connect grief, identity, and midlife transition—how loss can unmask who we really are and why this season is a powerful time to come home to yourself. Expect clear takeaways: one boundary to set, one ritual to keep, one belief to examine, and one sentence to claim in the mirror.

If your outside has changed but the inside is loud, you’re not broken—you’re unfinished. Press play, then tell us the one belief you’re ready to release. If this resonated, subscribe, share it with a friend who needs it, and leave a quick review so more midlife women can find their way back to themselves.

Bio

Tara Wiskow, an intuitive energy healer and life reinvention expert who helps women break free from self-abandonment, self-sabotage, and the cycle of people-pleasing. After transforming her own life—losing 220 pounds naturally and overcoming deep emotional struggles—she now guides women to heal by releasing limiting beliefs, negative emotions, and blocked energy that keep them from stepping into their authentic power. Through her She Rises program, Tara helps women unravel old programming, upgrade their mindset, and uplevel into the life and body they desire.

Choose Peace Over Panic In Midlife24 Feb 202600:33:32

Anxiety doesn’t disappear when you succeed; it often hides behind the calendar, the inbox, and the belief that working harder will make life feel safer. We open up about the cost of overachievement and the moment Catherine Crestani chose peace over panic—selling her thriving company, confronting money stories, and rebuilding a life anchored in alignment rather than  adrenaline.

You’ll hear how burnout became a boundary her body set long before her mind agreed, and how worthiness shaped every decision after. We unpack the myth that value equals struggle and explore a kinder model for prosperity: healing your nervous system, trusting your intuition, and using simple, sturdy boundaries that protect your energy. Catherine shares how clients shift from “I can’t afford it” to “It’s not a priority,” why that language matters, and how even tiny, consistent investing builds confidence without feeding scarcity.

We also dig into decision-making beyond the head. Heart first, gut for safety, brain for logistics—reversing that order changes everything. Expect practical practices: breathwork to return to presence, micro check-ins to hear inner cues, and scripts for navigating family drama without abandoning yourself. If control has been your armor, this conversation offers another way—surrender as an active trust that frees you to act from values rather than fear. The result is a life that feels spacious and steady, where peace is the new definition of success and purpose unfolds without the push.

If this resonates, follow the show, share it with a friend who’s navigating midlife change, and leave a review to help more listeners find these tools. Your presence here supports this community—and your next brave step starts now.

Bio

Catherine Crestani is a leadership coach, intuitive healer, podcaster, author and speaker,  helping women reclaim their powerful “no” and voice in business, family, and health through self-leadership. After building and leaving a six-figure company twice, she chose health, family, and self over burnout and anxiety — then rebuilt her life by choosing herself first. She now guides healers, mothers, and small-business owners to align their truth with their actions, blending energy healing, mindset coaching, and soulful business mentoring to help them move from surviving to thriving.

Our guest, wellness entrepreneur and AI content strategist Julie Helmer, shares a clear, empowering path that blends mitochondrial support with simple tools anyone can use.

We talk about  AI as a real-world helper. Julie shows how to use AI for research with sources, outline explainer videos, and create bite-size daily check-ins that keep you consistent. The result is a grounded playbook for women 40+ who want clarity without complexity.

Then we talk about where energy begins: mitochondria. Julie breaks down why these powerhouses struggle as we age and how structured hydration can help water reach cells more effectively. How Sound Shapes Your Brain And Mood05 Nov 202500:41:47

What if the chemistry of your day—your calm, your focus, your energy—could be shifted by sound? We sit down with Maury Zelkovich, the creator behind a long-running brainwave entrainment method, to unpack how rhythmic audio can guide neural firing, change brain chemistry, and reshape how you think and feel through midlife and beyond. This isn’t hype; it’s the brain’s natural tendency to sync with external pulses, turned into a practical tool you can use with a pair of headphones.

We trace Maury’s journey from despair to discovery, then get specific about how the method works: layered frequencies that mask noise and invite your neurons to follow targeted rhythms associated with states like relaxed focus, deep sleep, and steady confidence. We explore why beliefs become biology—how expectations about aging can lock in stress chemistry—and how small, repeatable wins create new evidence that rewires the story. You’ll hear a candid account of our own results: sharper focus, better follow-through, and calmer decision making during a hectic stretch of surgeries, caregiving, and business demands.

We also share simple ways to stack the deck in your favor: short daily sessions, light journaling to capture sleep and mood, and using AI to spot patterns between habits and outcomes. The theme running through it all is agency. Tools don’t fix you; they reveal what’s already there by changing the rhythm that changes the state that changes the choice. Midlife stops feeling like a slow fade and starts looking like a bridge to a better life when mindset, chemistry, and practice align.

If you’re curious to feel the difference yourself, try the sample linked on our show page, then tell us what shifts first—your mood, your sleep, or your focus. If this conversation helps, subscribe, share it with a friend who needs a lift, and leave a quick review to help others find the show.

The Strength In Letting Go of Perfection and Embracing Vulnerability 13 Aug 202200:56:45

like so many women around the world, I love Jewel Diamond Taylor. Jewel is truly a gift and when we get together the conversation is always thought-provoking and inspiring.  In this podcast, we talk about the importance of letting go of the need to be perfect.  Most of us are very familiar with this and we are also familiar with the concept that trying to achieve perfection is a huge waste of time.  So why do we still do it?  Jewel and  I talk about this.  We also talk about the necessity of vulnerability along our midlife journey and how this can help us to let go of perfection.

It's a great conversation.  We cover so much and you don't want to miss a second of this great podcast!

Everything Is Right About You - A Movement Whose Time Has Come 22 Feb 202200:32:56

You never know when your "ah-ha" moment might come. It comes when you least expect it, and when the moment comes you are always surprised by the source.

In Dr. Jill Kahn's case, the "ah-ha" moment came in a Clubhouse Room.  Clubhouse is an audio platform, that gives you the opportunity to listen to people's points of view from all over the world.  One of the people in the room was sharing about a tough day that he had.  Dr. Jill found her saying to him even though he had a tough day she told him "Everything is right about you".  The energy of the person who was speaking changed, in fact, the entire energy of the room shifted.  And...there it was the "ah-ha" moment.  Just like that! A movement whose time had come arrived.

Dr. Jill( as she is fondly called) along with others decide to lean into that energy and created the "Everything Is Right About You" movement.  The movement has a simple but powerful message, it’s always the right time to begin exercising and sharing this authentic truth to build self-love and self-acceptance for ALL.

The movement is now international with thousands around the world taking up the phrase "Everything Is Right About You".

In this podcast

  • Dr. Jill talks about how her passion led her to what she is doing now
  • Why this movement is so important
  • How children have been affected by this movement
  • What the future holds for "Everything Is Right About You"
  • The newest project for "Everything Is Right About You"

Inside The Journey Of Breast Cancer Survival - The Emotional Cost of Diagnosis and Treatment03 Nov 202500:48:57

Shock, denial, panic—then the next test, the next call, the next choice. Our breast cancer series returns to the part most people skip: the emotional cost of diagnosis and the work of rebuilding identity, relationships, and purpose while treatment remakes your life. We open up about the moment a braid on a pillow becomes a new trauma, the decision to shave on your own terms, and why a wig can feel like both armor and weight. From faith to lip kits, from silence to belly laughs, nothing is off the table.

We dig into the hard edges of love under pressure. Partners detach, friends go quiet, and strangers step in. Therapy reframes timing and truth. Grace becomes a practice: letting your kids show up, accepting help that isn’t perfect, forgiving yourself for not being the fixer anymore. We share the mantras and habits that held us together—prayer, water and wind, “I have cancer, but it doesn’t have me”—and the discipline of noticing small kindness that shifts the center of gravity from fear to courage.

Then comes reinvention. Skydiving at fifty. Pink hair on purpose. Student films, an IMAX extra, a Times Square billboard. Vulnerability turns into a voice strong enough to teach kids how to name fear without shame. The throughline is self‑advocacy: do cancer your way. Ask for second opinions. Change doctors if your needs aren’t met. Pause when your body says stop. Build the support system that shows up, even if it’s not who you expected.

If you’re walking this road—or loving someone who is—you’ll leave with language for the hard moments, tools for steadying your mind, and permission to choose what serves you. Subscribe, share this conversation with someone who needs it, and leave a review to help more listeners find these stories of strength, grace, and agency.

How To Improve Your Mind, Body Spirit Connection And Release Your Stress In 2022!06 Jan 202200:29:37

Happy New Year!

I am so excited about the possibilities of 2022 because I have really been working on my stress levels. Yes, 2020 and 2021 were stressful years, and 2022 promises to be somewhat stressful as well.

The question is how do we move forward in 2022 and leave the impact of stress behind in 2021.  Studies have shown that one way to alleviate the impact of stress on your body is through Yoga and Meditation.

There are many benefits of meditation and yoga and that is what Denise Perry and I talk about in this 1st episode of the year.  We cover the following topics

· Benefits of yoga

· Benefits of meditation

· How both can alleviate stress and anxiety

· The different forms of yoga and how to start

Tune in and get some great tips on how to reduce your stress and increase your relaxation for 2022.

Denise Perry Bio

Initially, Denise started her yoga journey as a way to exercise. Before she knew it, coming to her mat became a time for herself. Even though there have been times over the years that she did not practice the poses, Denise always practiced yoga thru meditation and pranayama, breathwork. It was a spiritual experience as she used meditation to center, learn about herself, and accept the things she saw.

Denise loves the saying that “yoga is an exploration of self, by the self, into the self.” She can see how different parts of her journey over the years relate to that exploration. The exploration is something that never ends. A person only has to begin. Part of the reason Denise wanted to become a yoga teacher was to help others begin their journey. As a teacher, she hopes to help students grow and find at least a few moments of connection while on the mat.

Denise holds a BA in Communications and Media Studies and is RYT 500 Yoga Alliance certified. She has also studied coaching, Reiki, and meditation and currently taking an advanced Meditation Teacher Training course. She loves to teach Gentle Flow, Restorative, Yin, and Yoga Nidra. She lives in North Carolina with her two cats, Iris and Jem and is the Studio Director/Owner of Yoga Nook in Chesapeake, VA. Denise looks forward to being a part of your journey.

V.I. B.E. Living Podcast: Episode 9--Turning Our Emotional Pain Into Our Emotional Triumph22 Jul 202000:37:15

In 2020, the United States is experiencing a lot  of emotional pain.  We have the emotional pain that comes from fear, loss and the unknown because of the COVD 19 virus.  We are also experiencing the emotional pain that is resulting from the racial unrest that we are STILL going through.  These experiences are emotionally painful and, in some cases, traumatic.    In addition, we have experiences in our lives that have caused us emotional pain.   How do we deal with all this pain? How can we turn our emotionally painful experiences into emotional growth and ultimately emotional triumph?

On this episode of VIBE Living we talk about emotional pain and ways we can heal our hurts.   We explore one exercise/movement that can help us move through our pain.  We also talk about how we can use our minds to help heal from emotional pain.   We also talk about healing our pain through art.

Our guest on this episode, Nafsheen Luhar is an amazing woman.  She is a transformative speaker, artist and photographer.  Nafsheen shares with us her transformative journey of dealing with her emotional pain and how she has learned to heal her pain through the amazing vehicle of art.

Nafsheen Luhar’s  Bio

Having been through a lot of trauma in her life from age 4 to 36.  She has lived in a state of “why me” mindset. At 36 Nafsheen, realized that everything that was happening, was happening for her and not to her. The first time she publicly shared her story she realized the purpose of her pain was to use it to help heal others and teach them the purpose of their pain giving them freedom from themselves.  Nafsheen says “Pain is a beautiful thing if we choose to see it that way and embrace because it will transform us. I began my journey to transform adversity into art”.

From Burnout To Balance: Choosing Joy And Surrender As A Midlife Blueprint30 Oct 202500:42:09

What if the bravest move in midlife isn’t to push harder, but to release the grip? We sit down with Dr. Naeema Olatunji to trace a powerful arc from burnout and a life-altering cycling accident to a life rebuilt on faith, non-attachment, and a simple guiding question: what’s possible now?

We open with the hidden signals that you’re overdue for change—the repeating arguments, the stale roles, the identity welded to job titles—and why surrender isn’t quitting but choosing peace over illusion. Dr. Naeema shares the moment she let go, lying on the floor of her practice, patients waiting, pain raging, and a clear call to stop carrying what wasn’t hers. From there, we unpack a reinvention mindset that rejects the myth of “starting from scratch.” Instead, we talk about starting from wisdom, honoring the version of you that existed before the world piled on shoulds, and using joy as a daily, deliberate choice.

Along the way, we explore non-attachment, the “is-ness” of reality, and how to hold both gratitude and grief without pretending. We get practical about boundaries and projection, how to shift from helicoptering to coaching with adult children, and why your closest circle shapes your energy. Dr. Naeema also opens up about her memoir, Raised As A Lie, a candid story about identity, belonging, and becoming, and she shares a free journal resource to help you release what no longer fits and gain clarity for your next chapter.

If you’re feeling stuck, exhausted by control, or simply ready to step into a lighter, truer season, this conversation offers sturdy tools and a steady hand. Subscribe, share with a friend who needs it, and leave a review to tell us: what will you set down so you can rise?

Bio

From crisis to triumph, Dr. Naeema Olatunji, doesn’t just inspire change—she builds it. After a decade as a chiropractor, a cycling accident led her to radically reinvent her life. She closed her practice, traveled solo to 13 countries, and founded Every Damn Thing, LLC to help women over 40 reclaim their power.

Now a reinvention coach, speaker, and author of Raised as a Lie, Dr. Naeema empowers high-achieving women to rise from burnout, break generational patterns, and thrive with purpose. Her upcoming book, Every Damn Thing: Your Disruption Manual, guides women to stop shrinking and start living fully expressed.

Whether in workshops, keynotes, or candid conversations, Dr. Naeema delivers soul-shifting truths and practical tools to help women rewrite what’s possible.

From International Flight Attendant To The Voice: Owning Midlife Ambition AT 6029 Oct 202500:32:51

A single late-night choice can redraw an entire map. That’s what happens when Gail Bliss, a seasoned performer and international flight attendant, taps the audition button on a whim and lands on The Voice as its oldest U.S. contestant to advance—thanks to Snoop Dogg’s unexpected replay. We dive into the messy, magnetic reality behind that moment: decades of craft, the pivot from sax to song, the Patsy Cline era, Nashville’s backrooms, and a 60th birthday vow to do six epic things that turned a canceled trip into a once-in-a-lifetime stage.

We unpack what age really measures—and what it doesn’t. Gail shares how she balanced discipline with delight, put her voice to bed while others partied, and still matched the room’s spark. She talks candidly about a missed lyric, a wobbly note, and the mind games bright lights can play, then shows how not chasing the outcome freed her to savor the experience. The unlikely pairing with Snoop becomes a lesson in openness: mentorship and opportunity often arrive from outside your lane, and that’s where the best stories live.

Along the way, we get practical about longevity. Health becomes a creative ally, not a chore: sleep, strength, mobility, and a support team that might include a physician, holistic practitioner, nutritionist, and coach. Invest on the front end so your body can say yes when the dream calls. If you’re staring down 40, 60, or any milestone that feels like a deadline, this conversation offers a clear invitation—make your list, press the button, and let curiosity outrun hesitation.

If this story fired you up, follow the show, share it with a friend who needs a nudge, and leave a review. Tell us: what bold button are you ready to press next?

Why Ditching Ultra-Processed Foods Can Rebalance Your Hormones, Energy, And Mood27 Oct 202500:31:47

Ever wonder why some foods feel impossible to stop eating? We pull back the curtain on how ultra-processed products are engineered to hook your taste buds, spike your blood sugar, and keep you coming back—while quietly nudging up your risk for type 2 diabetes, mood swings, and gut disruption. With nutritionist Julie Ruelle from Go Coco, we translate the science into everyday choices that protect your hormones, energy, and sanity.

We start by separating helpful processing—like freezing vegetables or turning milk into yogurt—from ultra-processed foods packed with dyes, stabilizers, artificial sweeteners, and ingredients your grandparents wouldn’t recognize. Julie breaks down the label tricks behind words like “healthy” and “vegan,” and shows how to scan ingredient lists before nutrition panels. From there, we explore the gut-brain axis: why additives and quick carbs can inflame your microbiome, trigger cravings, and derail your mood and focus. You’ll learn how probiotic foods (yogurt, kefir, sauerkraut) and prebiotic fibers (whole grains, beans, veggies, fruit) rebuild your gut—and how noticeable improvements often start within two weeks.

We share practical ideas: replace the 60-gram sugar coffee drink with a home version using cinnamon and vanilla, upgrade cereal by choosing short-ingredient options and adding nuts and berries, and swap fruit bars for whole fruit plus seeds. We also talk organic priorities for meats and dairy, and why calorie counting can mislead you when nutrient density is the bigger lever.

If you’re ready to step off the sugar-crash roller coaster and build meals that steady your energy and mood, this conversation gives you the roadmap—clear, doable, and built for real life. Subscribe for more expert-backed insights, share this episode with a friend who’s label-curious, and leave a review to tell us the one swap you’ll try today.

From Diagnosis To Advocacy: Women Share The Real Breast Cancer Journey20 Oct 202500:47:43

Three survivors share their breast cancer journey.  They talk about how mindset, medicine, and community changed their breast cancer outcomes. We explore early detection, individualized treatment, cultural barriers in care, and practical tips from nutrition to radiation skin protection.

A life-changing diagnosis doesn’t arrive with a manual, so we brought together three women who wrote their own. Cynthia Rogers, Meri Ramey Gray, and Dr. Ebony Prophet Bullock open up about the messy middle—dense breast screenings, biopsies, chemo side effects, radiation skin care—and the unexpected moments of clarity that guided their choices. Their stories are different, but the throughline is unmistakable: early detection, fierce self-advocacy, and a mindset that holds faith and science in the same hand.

We dig into what most blogs skip. Cynthia explains how a support group named her “mystery” numbness as neuropathy and pushed her care team to adjust chemo. Mary walks us through trusting intuition, why some antioxidants can blunt chemotherapy, and how an unconventional spray tan barrier helped her avoid radiation burns. Ebony threads a powerful spiritual arc through a year of profound loss, then shows how understanding her tumor’s grade and stage shaped the order of surgery, chemo, and radiation. She also speaks directly to Black women about cultural pressure, medical bias, and the healing power of therapy alongside prayer.

You’ll leave with a smarter playbook: read your screening letters, know the difference between stage and grade, ask about genetic testing and clinical trials, and bring a notebook to every appointment. Pair nutrition with your regimen instead of against it, question one-size-fits-all protocols, and build a circle that includes oncologists, nurses, therapists, and the people who lift your spirit. Most of all, trust the quiet inner signal—intuition is data, and it belongs at the table with evidence.

Pouring Hope In Midlife Caregiving -A Caregiver's Guide To Resilence and Peace 17 Oct 202500:31:56

Some stories are spoken. Others are lived so powerfully they outshine words. Karen Wilson joins us to share how a 17-year caregiving journey with her mother—through cancer, stroke, COPD, and chronic pain—became a living curriculum for resilience, presence, and protective love. When a stroke silenced her mother’s speech, gestures and energy did the talking, teaching Karen to pour hope, choose her words with care, and treat gratitude as a daily state, not a polite reaction.

We go deep on the mindset that sustains caregivers and anyone navigating long seasons of stress: how to make a life while making a living, why productivity can’t replace purpose, and the role of consistent, simple wellness habits that actually stick. Karen opens her toolkit for advocacy inside hospitals and rehabs—health care proxies, durable power of attorney, reading treatment plans, and partnering with social workers—so you can push for better outcomes without burning bridges. If you’ve ever felt dismissed by “baseline” talk or boxed in by algorithms, this conversation offers language and strategy to stay strong and collaborative.

Journaling threads it all together. Karen shares how themed journaling—anchored by words like Enough or Not Yet—helped her step back from crisis, process emotion, and return to presence. It’s a practical, accessible way to manage caregiver burnout, reduce anxiety, and reclaim clarity. Along the way we reflect on loss, legacy, and the seeds mothers plant that keep blooming long after they’re gone. Expect tangible tools, honest encouragement, and a gentle push to redefine success around love, laughter, and learning.

If you’re a caregiver, midlife listener, or anyone rebuilding after hardship, this one is for you. Tap play, share it with someone who needs strength today, and if it resonates, subscribe and leave a review so more people can find these conversations.

Your Body Is Speaking -How Simple Gestures Unlock Emotional Clarity, Confidence, and Resilience30 Sep 202500:22:38

Your body knows before your mind can explain. We sat down with Jen to unpack how simple, intentional gestures can translate hard-to-name emotions into clear signals you can act on, turning anxious contraction into grounded expansion without forcing, fixing, or faking it. Her journey—from feeling “not smart” in test-driven classrooms to discovering kinesthetic and emotional intelligence—led to a somatic method that has helped thousands reclaim presence, confidence, and self-trust.

Jen walks us through the Power of Gesture, a research-informed practice born on Zoom during the pandemic, where hands became a precise instrument for nervous system regulation and emotional clarity. You’ll hear why bodyset complements mindset, how 40,000+ nerve endings in your hands act like a truth-telling interface, and what changes when we treat emotions as teachers rather than problems. We explore leadership as an embodied skill—vital for parents, educators, coaches, and executives—rooted in noticing contraction, honoring it, and choosing expansion on purpose.

You’ll also learn the GIFT framework: Ground to settle your system, Imagine the scene to access sensation, Feel through a fitting gesture, and Transform by linking that first state to an expansive second one. We dig into self-hop—the idea that you’re not broken and don’t need fixing—and what makes Your Body Is Speaking a different kind of mind-body book for somatic healing, emotional resilience, intuitive living, and women’s leadership. If you’ve been carrying unprocessed grief, post-pandemic stress, or recurring self-doubt, this conversation offers practical tools you can use today.

If this resonates, tap follow, share with someone who needs it, and leave a quick review so more listeners can find these tools. Your body is speaking—ready to listen?

Bio

Jen Aks journey to leadership and embodiment work began as a self-conscious student, sitting in traditional classrooms where she felt invisible. She failed to fit into the education system’s narrow definition of intelligence and dealt with crippling self-doubt because of it. Through decades of dance education and gaining a deeper understanding of diverse intelligences, Kinesthetic and Emotional, she rediscovered her body’s wisdom and reclaimed her identity. It’s her life’s work to bring that same gift to you, so that you can live the radically honest and empowered life you deserve.  Jen is a Transformational Coach, Speaker, and Author of her new bestseller "Your Body Is Speaking"

Turning Natural Talents Into Income After 5021 Feb 202600:41:48

What if the most powerful career move after 50 starts with a single question: what do I really want now? We dive into that pivot with business mentor and author Patricia Noel Drain, unpacking how women can name their natural gifts, drop perfectionism, and design work that pays and feels right. From classrooms to recruiting to entrepreneurship, Patricia shares the patterns she’s seen for decades: brilliant women who’ve never been asked to define what they do best—and how everything changes when they finally do.

We get practical fast. You’ll learn how to identify your “ingredients” for fulfilling work, ask for honest validation from people who know you, and turn those strengths into real offers—workshops, coaching, speaking, books, and more. We tackle money head-on: the childhood stories that create money blocks, why pricing for outcomes beats charging by the hour, and how to hear “no” without shrinking. If you’ve ever hesitated to charge for a talent that feels natural, this is your permission slip to step up and be seen.

If you’re ready to claim your value, grow your revenue, and do work that fits who you are today, hit play and then tell us the one gift you’re finally ready to monetize. Subscribe, share with a friend who needs this, and leave a review to help more women find their next chapter.

Embracing Aging as a Vibrant New Chapter -Reinventing Midlife with Natascha Harding26 Sep 202500:34:47

What if aging wasn't something to fear but something to embrace? What if those gray hairs and laugh lines weren't signs of decline but badges of wisdom and life fully lived?

Natascha Harding, pro-aging maverick and Golden Bachelor contestant, joins Lynnis Woods-Mullins to flip the script on aging. With refreshing candor and infectious energy, they explore why the space between our ears—our mindset—is the most crucial factor in how we experience growing older.

"We are changing, we are shifting the narrative, and we are cutting a new path," Natascha declares, challenging listeners to reject limiting beliefs about what aging should look like. Through personal stories and practical wisdom, she reveals how her own journey led her to champion pro-aging after witnessing too many women diminish themselves because of a number.

The conversation tackles eye-opening realities: women over 50 control $19 trillion in global spending yet receive only 5% of advertising attention. Studies show positive thinking about aging literally extends lifespan. Simple habits like walking 30 minutes daily can add seven years to your life.

Both women share their experiences embracing gray hair, adapting to changing bodies, and finding renewed purpose during what Natascha calls "the adolescence of adulthood." This perspective normalizes midlife uncertainty and reframes it as an opportunity for exciting reinvention.

Whether you're approaching midlife, in the thick of it, or supporting someone who is, this episode offers a refreshing alternative to anti-aging messaging. Listen now to discover how to age with confidence, clarity and vibrant energy—because those six inches between your ears really do count.

Bio

Natascha Hardee is a pro-aging coach and midlife speaker who is a former contestant on the reality television shows The Golden Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise. She is known for her energetic personality and desire to inspire others to embrace aging.  After experiencing many misdiagnoses for her perimenopause symptoms, Hardee became an advocate for other women navigating midlife changes. She uses her platform to share information and build a community for women to discuss challenges like menopause, changing identity, and aging parents. She encourages people to "age in excellence" on her social media. Hardee was on the inaugural season of The Golden Bachelor in 2023, where she sought love with lead Gerry Turner. Though she was eliminated early, she gained valuable experience, stating, "I learned how to date" after having not dated in seven years while raising her granddaughter. In 2025, she appeared on season 10 of Bachelor in Paradise.

Breaking Free: Identifying and Escaping Abusive Relationships10 Sep 202500:26:58

What does it take to recognize you're in an abusive relationship when denial feels safer than truth? When someone finally told Tiffiny Newton she was being abused, she refused to believe it—even as her partner controlled every aspect of her life.

This powerful conversation takes us through Tiffiny's journey from victim to survivor to advocate, revealing the subtle warning signs of abuse that often go unnoticed. She candidly shares how manipulation disguised as love kept her trapped in a cycle she attempted to escape five times before finally breaking free.

"Trauma bonding is like a tornado," Tiffany explains. "You see the destruction, you feel the destruction, but you can't pull away because of the gravitational pull." Her description of how abusers need only show kindness one day a month to maintain control illuminates why leaving becomes so difficult, especially for women in midlife already navigating identity challenges.

Tiffiny has transformed her painful experience into purpose through her book "Behind the Smile," designed specifically to help loved ones support someone trapped in abuse. For anyone who suspects they or someone they care about is in an unhealthy relationship, this episode offers validation, understanding, and a path toward freedom.

Is Your Body Whispering Warnings? The Science of Bioenergetic Testing for Midlife Women04 Sep 202500:33:25

What if your body's subtle signals could reveal health issues months or even years before they appear on traditional medical tests? That's the power of bioenergetic testing, a science-based approach that's helping midlife women decode their body's whispers before they become screams.

In this eye-opening conversation, mechanical engineer turned health detective Beth Milbrecht shares how she helps women who've been told their symptoms are "just aging" or "just stress" get to the root of what's really happening. With over 35 years of engineering experience, Beth brings a problem-solver's mindset to health challenges, using bioenergetic testing to identify imbalances in the body's energy system that conventional medicine often misses.

You'll discover why that constipation you've been ignoring might actually be a crucial sign your lymphatic system is backed up, how homeopathy and Bach flower essences gently support both physical and emotional healing, and why expensive supplements might not be the answer to your health concerns. Beth explains how this work is grounded in traditional Chinese medicine and the electrical activity at acupuncture points—not woo-woo at all, but rather a sophisticated approach to working with your body's innate intelligence.

For women struggling with burnout, Beth offers practical wisdom on setting boundaries around sleep, mindful eating, and incorporating non-sleep deep rest. She shares the remarkable transformation of a client whose joint pain and numbness improved within weeks, eventually leading to renewed energy for dance classes and even a career change. As Beth explains, "When you clear out the old, something new wants to emerge."

Whether you're curious about energy medicine or simply tired of being dismissed by conventional healthcare, this conversation will expand your understanding of what's possible for midlife wellness. Subscribe to the Vibe Living Podcast for more insights on becoming more vibrant, intuitive, beautiful, and empowered in midlife and beyond.

Mindset: Your Hidden Superpower for Health02 Sep 202500:29:46

What if your mindset could literally heal your body at the cellular level? Carey Mencarini extraordinary journey proves it's not just possible—it's transformative.

Wheelchair-bound, on oxygen, and given mere months to live with an ALS-like diagnosis in her early 40s, Carey refused to accept this fate. Her two young sons needed her, so she embarked on a healing journey that would defy all medical predictions. Through IV vitamin therapy, extended water-only fasting, and most critically, harnessing the power of her mind, she completely reversed her condition.

The science behind her recovery is fascinating. IV therapy bypasses digestive issues to deliver pharmaceutical-grade nutrients directly to cells starving for proper nutrition. Extended fasting triggers the body to generate stem cells naturally, replacing damaged cells with healthy ones. But Carey's most powerful discovery was how our thoughts directly impact cellular function—"What we think, our body hears all the time."

This episode dives deep into the neuroplasticity of the brain and how concentrated positive thought can physically transform our cells. As Carey's explains, "If you can harness the power of your mind, anything is possible." This isn't about toxic positivity or denying reality—it's about understanding that our mindset is a legitimate health tool that amplifies everything else we do for our wellbeing.

For anyone facing health challenges or simply wanting to age with vitality, this conversation offers actionable wisdom: start your day with prayer or meditation, move your body for just 15 minutes to generate feel-good hormones, and focus on nutrient-dense, minimally processed foods. Most importantly, recognize that the conversation happening between your ears might be the most powerful determinant of your health outcomes.

Ready to discover your own healing superpower? Listen now, then check out Carrey book "Vitality Solution: Recharge your Health with IV Vitamin Therapy, Mindfulness and Fasting and More" to continue your journey toward vibrant health at any age.

Listening to Your Body's Whispers -Doctors Said She Was Fine—But Her Body Was Screaming That She Wasn't24 Jul 202500:48:10

When was the last time you truly listened to your body? Those whispers of "I don't feel right" or "I'm so tired" aren't just inconveniences – they're crucial messages that deserve your attention.

In this deeply personal conversation, health and mindset coach Andrea Joy shares her harrowing journey from severe burnout to vibrant health. After opening her own business at 26 while caring for her mother with stage four cancer, Andrea found herself facing multiple autoimmune conditions, including lupus symptoms and hypothyroidism. Despite doctors telling her she was "fine" or that her symptoms were "normal," she knew something was wrong.

"That's where I really try to educate my clients," Andrea explains. "Listen to those whispers of 'I don't feel so good, I'm feeling anxious, I'm feeling burnt out.' Even if a doctor says you're okay – you know what's best."

For entrepreneurs especially, this episode offers invaluable wisdom on preventing burnout before it takes hold. Andrea outlines practical strategies for creating your personal wellness "toolbox" and incorporating self-care directly into your business plan, not as an afterthought but as a foundation for sustainable success.

Whether you're facing burnout now, recovering from health challenges, or simply want to build resilience before problems arise, this conversation offers compassionate, experienced guidance to help you thrive, not just survive. Subscribe now and join our community of women committed to vibrant, intuitive, beautiful, and empowered living.

Bio

Andrea’s nutritional journey has been a powerful testament to listening to her body’s needs. After five years on a vegan diet, she transitioned to Keto in 2020 to address her health needs more deeply. Then, in May 2024, she made the switch to a Carnivore diet, and the results have been nothing short of transformative.

Since embracing Carnivore, Andrea has experienced a profound shift in her health. She gained 20 pounds of strength, steadily reversing more autoimmune symptoms that had persisted for years. The benefits have been undeniable: higher energy levels, no more intense cravings for sugar or carbs, and even the return of a regular menstrual cycle after two years of inconsistency.

Andrea believes food is our medicine and the importance of tapping into your body to understand what your body is asking for to thrive!

From Invisible to Unstoppable: How Martina Gruppo Escaped a Narcissist and Reclaimed Her Power23 Jul 202500:29:27

Ever felt invisible? As if society has decided women of a certain age should gracefully step into the shadows? Martina Gruppo knows this feeling all too well - both from experiencing cultural invisibility in Italy and from years spent with a covert narcissist who methodically dimmed her light and tried to take her power.

In this profound conversation, Martina shares her journey from silent suffering to radiant self-reclamation. Her story, captured in her book "Hello Flower," reveals how even the strongest women can become entangled in relationships that slowly strip away their sense of self. With remarkable candor, she describes the perfect storm of early menopause triggered by chemotherapy and a partner who used her vulnerability against her - even suggesting she was "making up" her symptoms.

Martina shares her A.A.B method for healing: Acknowledge what you've been through, Allow yourself to feel all emotions, and Build up your self-esteem. Her message resonates beyond those who've experienced narcissistic relationships, speaking to anyone who's ever felt diminished or overlooked. As she beautifully puts it, "It's amazing when you allow yourself - and I say allow because the empowerment is within us - to feel your own empowerment and take control of your life."

Bio

Martina Gruppo is a writer, survivor, and advocate for women healing from emotional abuse. After over a decade in a marriage marked by covert narcissism and psychological control, she emerged stronger, wiser, and more determined to reclaim her life. Through her story, she sheds light on the devastating reality of coercive control and the importance of boundaries, self-trust, and healing. Today, Martina lives with intention, making empowered choices that reflect her renewed sense of self. She is a work in progress, proof that it's possible to start over—and thrive

Reignite Your Vitality After 50: The Mental and Physical Benefits of Homesteading12 Jul 202500:37:29

What if the secret to thriving in midlife isn’t about chasing more—but about rediscovering what we’ve forgotten?

When Elizabeth Bruckner saw grocery store shelves emptying in 2020, it sparked more than anxiety—it ignited a deep transformation. Living in a typical suburban home surrounded by concrete and a backyard pool, she began a journey into modern homesteading—a lifestyle choice that turned uncertainty into empowerment.

Modern homesteading doesn’t require a cabin in the woods or going completely off-grid. It’s about reclaiming traditional, sustainable skills—like fermenting vegetables, growing herbs in containers, or making your own pantry staples—that nurture resilience, health, and creativity. These practices are especially powerful for those navigating midlife transitions, when questions about purpose, energy, and identity tend to arise.

As a licensed acupuncturist, Elizabeth had long witnessed patients seeking quick health fixes while neglecting true self-care. But through homesteading, she found natural, lasting wellness solutions. Fermented foods helped her rebalance hormones, eliminate symptoms like insomnia and unwanted hair growth, and restore gut health. Just as importantly, crafting with her hands—gardening, preserving, creating—boosted her serotonin and dopamine levels, reducing anxiety and elevating mood.

She describes the homesteader mindset as grounded in three simple principles:

  1. Choose vibrancy and play
  2. Learn for pleasure, not perfection
  3. Find joy in the process, not just the outcome

Instead of defaulting to screen time during moments of boredom or stress, Elizabeth began using what she calls “found time” to reconnect with meaningful, creative work. These small acts of intention created big shifts in her mental and physical wellbeing—and deepened her connections with family, friends, and her wider community.

Whether you’re 30, 50, or 70, it’s never too late to start homesteading in your own way. Your version might include fermenting sauerkraut, growing herbs on your balcony, sewing your clothes, or making herbal remedies. The beauty of homesteading is that it's flexible, empowering, and deeply personal.

Midlife doesn’t have to be about decline or reinvention—it can be a time to reclaim your power, creativity, and vitality. Your hands remember skills your mind may have forgotten. Maybe now is the perfect time to rediscover them.

Your Midlife Body Will Change, But Your Joy Doesn't Have To30 Jun 202500:26:49

The moment hit me at 63, suddenly noticing my body changing in ways I never expected. That shocking realization led to this powerful conversation with mindset coach Cheryl Fisher about navigating midlife body changes with grace and intention rather than resignation.

What we say to ourselves about our changing bodies matters profoundly. When we constantly verbalize negative thoughts about midlife weight gain, we're unwittingly programming our minds to accept defeat. Fisher reveals how many women fall into patterns of body complaints as a way to connect with others through shared struggles, creating a downward spiral of self-fulfilling prophecies. She offers transformative mindset tools anyone can use immediately, like her ingenious "but affirmations" technique that acknowledges struggles while redirecting focus toward possibility.

Fisher also shares surprising ways to transform your money mindset through simple practices that create positive financial experiences and open you to abundance.

As your body inevitably changes, your relationship with it doesn't have to deteriorate. By identifying what truly brings joy and enthusiasm, you can find new directions that honor your authentic self rather than limiting your vision based on age. Ready to transform your midlife experience? Listen now and discover how to shift from focusing on what you've lost to embracing what's possible.
