Putting the Yeee in YEEDM | Taylor Kade
Season 2024 · Episode 20
mardi 2 juillet 2024 • Duration 01:01:04
Welcome back to another episode of the Underground Society Podcast. Today we have the “founder” of Yeedm, Taylor Kade. And if you are wondering what Yeedm is, it is simply combining the country songs that many people know and love with the EDM that you and I have such a passion for.
Taylor has made so many opportunities for himself from playing a whole Yeedm set at EDC to recently creating some originals with country star Chase Wright just by leaning into what he is passionate about and making it his own!
His biggest lesson and how he has created such a unique lane for himself is by utilizing the power of social media. He says “The amount of traction that you can get from posting a video for free, is absolutely unbelievable” and he wishes that more artists would lean into the tools that we have right at our fingertips. (literally)
Thank you so much for tuning in, enjoy the episode!

Dealing with People Who Just Want to Use You | NOSPHERE
Season 2024 · Episode 19
mardi 25 juin 2024 • Duration 59:27
Welcome back to another episode of the Underground Society Podcast. In this episode we talk with Nosphere who had a tweet “explode” with over 600k engagements where he mentions Ghost Production.
While Ghost Production is frowned upon in this industry, it happens a lot more than you would think. But that wasn’t the problem…
A part of what Nosphere does is ghost production. It’s a great way to make money and he has been very successful at it. But today he tells us a story of something that we all should look out for in this industry which is getting taken advantage of or “used” by one of his clients that he was producing for.
As soon as Nosphere progressed and began to understandably raise his ghost production prices, his client decided to dip and move onto the next young artist who would do the job for a lot cheaper.
His biggest piece of advice? DO NOT DO ANYONE FAVORS in this career field, you will most likely end up feeling used.
Thank you so much for tuning in, enjoy the episode!

Working in Music with a Hearing Disability, with Eva Billie Singer
Season 2024 · Episode 10
mardi 26 mars 2024 • Duration 57:16
Welcome back to another episode of the Underground Society Podcast.
We have talked about how important it is to wear earplugs but we personally have never talked to anyone who works in the music industry that is Hard of Hearing.
But today that changes, because we have Eva Billy Singer who is an agent for Corson (who works with some of your favorite dubstep artists including many from the Disciple team). And who also runs her own woman only operated agency as well called “Seaview Talent”. To tell us all about what it is like to have troubles with her hearing when working in such an auditory work environment.
I hope this episode inspires you to never let anything ever hold you back. No matter what your “disadvantage” may be, remember that the ones who truly make it in this field have overcome every single adversity that has come their way and if you want it badly enough nothing should stop you from reaching your goals.
Thank you so much for tuning in, enjoy the episode!

Express Your Creativity as Genuinely as Possible, with Ace Aura
Season 2022 · Episode 4
vendredi 28 janvier 2022 • Duration 47:02
In this episode I speak with Ace Aura who is considered one of the pioneers of what most bass music fans call "Melodic" or "Future Riddim" and today he tells us how early on in his career, he struggled with fully expressing his creative vision. Which is kind of crazy to think about the fact that if didn’t follow his vision, then there might not have been such a huge upswing in popularity in the last couple years for Melodic Riddim.

How to Find Your Sound While Facing Rejections, with One True God
Season 2022 · Episode 3
vendredi 21 janvier 2022 • Duration 51:02
Have you ever wondered how certain artists who may not fit into a “popular genre” continue to chase after their sound, even when they're faced with a ton of rejection? In almost all cases. I believe that it is crucial for artists to follow their creativity and produce anything that they want to, whether that be in one specific genre or multiple genres, with a specific vibe, all producers should have freedom in their creativity. In this episode, we speak with One True God who produces what he likes to call the dark genre. And today he tells us how he developed this unique sound and how he overcame a lot of the rejections in the process of making a full-time income off of ONLY streams.
WE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE YOU
