103: Why It's Powerful & Easy To Question The Default in Weddings with Ashlee Bunney Celebrant
Episode 103
lundi 26 août 2024 • Duration 30:05
Can you remember a time when you felt left out of a group? Maybe your friends got together and you weren’t invited, but then you saw them post a photo on socials, or you weren’t chosen for a sporting team or a project even though you know you would’ve been brilliant.
It stung, didn’t it?
As simplistic as it is, inclusivity in weddings can be as easy as allowing everyone to feel seen, valued and welcome.
I know you’re kind, but also, you don’t have a lot of spare time. You’d love to be an ally but also don’t want to have to take a short course on it. Right?
Today Ashlee is going to share:
- what the gendered language and terms are in weddings,
- why weddings need to evolve away from the default, and
- how you can challenge norms to make your wedding more inclusive.

94: One Click (No App) To Collect Your Wedding Guest's Photos And Videos with Never Miss Moments
Episode 94
lundi 24 juin 2024 • Duration 32:50
What are your wedding memories worth to you?
One of the most frequently asked questions that I hear is, how can I easily and securely collect and save the photos that my guests take in the leadup and on my wedding day?
Some people use Facebook groups, but then others won’t go near Facebook, others will use Dropbox, but then realise too late that they’ve run out of storage. And please rest assured that hashtags are dead as well.
So when I heard that serial overachiever, Travis Cornish, had solved this predicament for you, I knew I had to get him to explain it to you himself.
In this episode, Travis will teach you:
- The simplest way to get your wedding guests to share their photos and videos with you,
- plus how to get as many of your guests to participate and be motivated to actually DO IT (because, just in case you didn’t know, getting wedding guests to share photos and videos in the past, has been like pulling teeth).

Episode 5

Your host, Celebrant and founder of Unbridely, Camille Abbott, delves into their planning choices around how they chose to reveal the surprise to their loved ones, the big budget advantages to doing a wedding the same way and a couple of less than perfect moments that happened on their wedding day that they couldn't fix, but they rolled with anyway.

93: How Your Strengths Determine Whether You Need A Planner, Stylist or Coordinator
Episode 93
lundi 17 juin 2024 • Duration 29:52
There are 3 big roles in your wedding which, should you have some strength or previous experience, you may choose to do all by yourself.
And they are wedding planner, wedding stylist and wedding coordinator.
But for those without the personality type, skills, connections, time and energy, taking on these responsibilities can seriously affect how you enjoy the lead-up to your wedding, your stress levels, whether or not you can stick to your budget, and also more crucially, how you experience the day itself.
In this episode, you will learn:
1) the responsibilities and roles that a wedding planner, wedding stylist and wedding coordinator fulfil in your wedding, and then
2) the personal skills and strengths, experience and talent you need to have to ensure you’ve got their role covered if you choose not to hire a pro for your wedding.
