We discuss the merits and pitfalls of Sol Ring, Armageddon, Mana Drain,Recurring Nightmare, Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer, Channel, and some honorable mentions.
This was a fun yet mentally stimulating episode suitable for veteran cube players, cube curators of all levels and those simply wishing to try creating a cube for the first time.

Fairy Tales & Cube Design

May is the curator of The Fae Cube, a cube designed to highlight whimsical spells that encapsulate the imagination of the cube world. This cube beautifully captures a world filled with mischievous faeries, sinister goblins, ferocious dragons, majestic elves, mercurial changelings, and noble humans. Each group has been meticulously chosen based on their D&D class, signpost, and synergies.

The Old Gnaw Bone Method

During this episode Stu and Anthony discuss the Old Gnaw Bone Method coined by D.R. Wilsey our regional Dragonologist. Team Uber Bear uses the methodology to categorize and evaluate the attributes of dragons in cube as well as to decide their inclusion.
Using the Old Gnaw Bones Method to gauge the power of a dragon.
1. Is the dragon impactful when it enters the board?
2. Does the cost translate to the effect provided?
3. Win more versus needed?
4. Finisher?
5. Environment dependent- Old Gnaw Bones can be exceptionally powerful in lower powered environments.
6. What archetypes does the dragons chosen support?
7. EDH Brain versus Cube Brain.
